Abstract

초고순도의 미립자로 이루어지는 원료 분말을 사용하지 않고, 반도체 제조 장치에서도 사용 가능한 나트륨 및 칼륨 함유량이 적은 알루미나 소결체를 제공한다.
알루미나 중에 함유되는 불순물인 산화나트륨, 산화칼륨, 산화규소, 산화칼슘, 산화제이철 및 산화티타늄의 합계 함유량이 100ppm 이상, 10000ppm 이하이며, 합계 함유량에 대한 산화나트륨 및 산화칼륨의 합계 함유량의 비율이 4중량% 이하이다. 알루미나 소결체의 원료 분말에 대하여 적어도 산화합물을 첨가하고, 원료 분말중의 금속과 상기 산화합물의 반응에 의해 금속염을 생성시켜 이 금속염을 제거한다.

Claims (4)

  1. 알루미나 소결체중에 함유되는 불순물인 산화나트륨, 산화칼륨, 산화규소, 산화칼슘, 산화제이철 및 산화티타늄의 합계 함유량이 100ppm이상, 10000ppm이하이며, 상기 합계 함유량에 대한 산화나트륨 및 산화칼륨의 합계 함유량의 비율이 4중량%이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 알루미나 소결체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 합계 함유량에 대한 산화나트륨 및 산화칼륨의 합계 함유량의 비율이 2중량%이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 알루미나 소결체.
  3. 알루미나 소결체중에 함유되는 불순물인 산화나트륨, 산화칼륨, 산화규소, 산화칼슘, 산화제이철 및 산화 티타늄의 합계 함유량이 100ppm이상, 10000ppm이하인 알루미나 소결체를 제조함에 있어서, 알루미나 소결체의 원료 분말에 대하여 적어도 산화합물을 첨가하고, 상기 원료 분말중의 나트륨 및 칼륨과 상기 산화합물의 반응에 의해 금속염을 생성시켜 이 금속염을 제거하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알루미나 소결체의 제조방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 원료 분말에 대하여 상기 산화합물을 성형용 바인더의 성분으로서 첨가하여 혼합하고, 이 혼합물을 성형하는 것을 특징으로 하는 알루미나 소결체의 제조 방법.
