Abstract

유전체 기록표면에로 영상에 상응하는 전하를 전달하기 위하여 유연한 브럿시들을 사용하는 전자인쇄장치가 공개되었다. 이 기록표면은 바람직하게는 마이크로전계가 유전체표면상에 형성하도록 전도도를 달리하는 구역들을 갖는다. 바람직하게는 하전되지 않은 잉크가 이때는 2극힘들을 통하여 기록표면에 끌려질 수 있으며 뒤에 종이에 전달된다.

브럿시 기록헤드를 사용한 정전기적 인쇄방법 및 장치
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 이 발명의 기록헤드(write head)를 포함하는 인쇄장치의 등각투영도이며,
제2도는 제1도의 장치에 대한 인쇄헤드 실시예의 저부도면이며,
제3도는 영상멤버와 관련하는 제2도의 기록헤드를 보이고 있는 더 큰 척도로 표시된, 5-5선에서 취하여진 단면도이다.
제4도는 우선적인 기록표면의 파단면도이며; 그리고 제5A도 및 제5B도는 전도성의 아일랜드들(islands)을 가지는 이방성기록 표면의 일부분의 등각 투영도들이며 제5B도는 제2도 및 제3도의 기록 헤드의 단순화된 표현도를 가진다.

Claims (20)

  1. 전자영상에 상응하는 정전기적 모형을 기록하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 기록표면을 가지는 영상멤버와; 그리고 기록표면을 접촉하기 위하여 다수의 브릿시를 가지며, 기록표면상에 정전기적 전하들을 이동시키기 위한 기록헤드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 영상멤버에로 잉크를 전달하기 위하여 잉크전달장송를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 잉크는 하전되지 않은 잉크인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 영상멤버는 전도성을 충과; 전도성의 충위에 배열된 유전체증과; 그리고 유전체층 위에 배열된 전도성의 아일랜드들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 기록표면은 이방성의 유전체표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 기록표면은 보통의 유전체표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 기록헤드는 일련의 전도성 받침들을 포함하며 각 받침은 그것으로부터 뻗쳐져 있는 적어도 하나의 브럿시를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 각각의 받침은 다수의 브럿시를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 각각의 받침은 기록표면상에 기록되어질 화소에 상응하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 브럿시들은 흑연과 텅스텐 중의 하나로 된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  11. 제1항에 있어서, 기록헤드는 또 기록표면을 접촉하기 위하여 글라이드 슈를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  12. 전자영상에 대응하며 정전기적 모형을 기록하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 기록ㄹ표면을 가지는 영상멤버와; 그리고 기록표면상에 정전기적 하전을 전달하기 위한 기록헤드를 포함하며, 이 기록헤드는 기록표면상에 기록을 위하여 하전멤버들의 정렬을 가지며, 각각의 하전멤버는 그것으로부터 뻗쳐 있는 적어도 하나의 브럿시를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 영상멤버에 잉크를 전달하기 위한 잉크전달장소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 잉크는 하전디지 않은 잉크인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  15. 제12항에 있어서, 영상멤버는 전도성의 충과; 전도성의 층위에 배열된 유전체층과; 그리고 유전체층 위에 배치된 전도성의 아일랜드들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  16. 제12항에 있어서, 기록표면은 이방성의 유전체표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  17. 제12항에 있어서, 기록표면은 보통의 유전체표면인 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  18. 제12항에 있어서, 각각의 하전멤버는 다수의 브럿시들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  19. 기록표면상에 영상을 기록하는 방법에 있어서, 이 방법은; a. 인쇄기체상에 아주 가시적인 형태로 나타내어질 영상에 대응하는 디지털 데이터를 창안하는 것과; b. 하전멤버들 각각이 그 위에 적어도 하나의 브럿시를 가지며, 기록헤드는 디지털 데이터에 기초하여져서 하전되어 있는, 다수의 하전멤버들을 가지는 기록헤드를 하전하는 것과; 그리고 c. 브럿시들과 기록표면들을 접촉시키는 것에 의하여 기록표면에로 하전멤버들상에 전하들을 이송하는 것의 단계들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  20. 제18항에 있어서, 하전들이 이송된 후에 기록표면에 잉크를 이송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
