Abstract
1445877 Developing electrostatic latent images; electrostatic ink FUJI XEROX CO Ltd 4 Oct 1973 [5 Oct 1972] 46505/73 Heading G2H Latent image 24 is developed by electrostatic attraction of resistive ink 16, which is held in an array of depressions 14 in the surface of an electroconductive, elastic supply member. Preferably the supply member consists of an elastomer layer 10 overlying a substrate 12, and may be in the form of a roller co-operating with a cylindrical imagebearing body. Ink compositions which are usable comprise carbon black dispersed in polypropylene glycol or paraffin, with triethylene glycol dicaprilate or alkylated polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
