Abstract

본 발명은 액정 디스플레이에 사용시 1내지 2°의 낮은 틸트각을 제공하는, 피로멜리트산 이무수물 및 1,3-비스(4-아미노페녹시)벤젠 또는 1,4-비스(4-아미노페녹시)벤젠과 같은 비스(4-아미노페녹시) 방향족 화합물을 기재로 하는 폴리이미드 정렬 필름이 제공된다.

Claims (10)

  1. 방향족 테트라카르복실산 이무수물 성분으로서 피로멜리트산 이무수물 및 하기 화학식의 방향족 디아민 성분을 포함하며, 1내지 2°의 틸트각을 갖는 액정층을 제공하는, 액정 디스플레이 장치의 액정층을 정렬시키기 위한 폴리이미드 정렬 필름.
    상기 식에서 X는로 이루어진 군으로 부터 선택된다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 방향족 테트라카르복실산 이무수물 성분이 피로멜리트산 이무수물 성분이외에, 추가의 테트라카르복실산 이무수물을 40몰 % 이하 함유하는 것인 폴리이미드 정렬 필름.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 추가의 테트라카르복실산 이무수물이 3.3',4.4'-비페닐테트라카르복실산 이무수물, 3,3',4,4'-벤조페논테트라카르복실산 이무수물, 옥시디프탈산 이무수물, 2,2-비스(3,4-디카르복시페닐)-헥사플루오로-프로판 이무수물, 9,9-비스(트리플루오로메틸)-2,3,6,7-크산탄테트라카르복실산 이무수물 또는 9-페닐-9-트리플루오로메틸-2,3,6,7-크산탄테트라카르복실산 이무수물, 시클로부탄테트라 카르복실산 이무수물 또는 2,3,5-트리카르복시시클펜틸 아세트산 이무수물을 포함하는 것인 폴리이미드 정렬 필름.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 방향족 디아민 성분이 추가의 방향족 디아민을 50몰% 이하 함유하는 것인 폴리이미드 정렬 필름.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 추가의 방향족 디아민이 4,4'-디아미노디페닐 에테르, m-페닐렌 디아민, p-페닐렌 디아민, 2,2-비스(4-아미노페닐) 헥사플루오로프로판, 2,2'-비스(트리플루오로메톡시)벤지딘, 2,2'-비스(트리플루오로메틸) 벤지딘 또는 2,2-비스[4-(3-아미노페녹시)페닐]-헥사플루오로프로판을 포함하는 것인 폴리이미드 정렬 필름.
  6. (a)대향하는 면을 갖는 액정층; (b)상기 액정층의 한 면상의 한 세트의 전극 ; 및 (c)방향족 테트라카르복실산 이무수물 성분으로서 피로멜리트산 이무수물 및 하기 화학식의 방향족 디아민 성분을 포함하며, 1내지 2°의 틸트각을 갖는 액정층을 제공하는 각 세트의 전극과 상기 액정층 사이의 폴리이미드 정렬 필름층을 포함하는 액정 디스플레이 장치.
    상기 식에서 X는로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된다.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 액정층이 1개 이상의 화학식(I)의 화합물의 혼합물을 포함하는 것인 액정 디스플레이 장치.
    상기 식에서 R3은 탄소수 1내지 12의 알킬기이며, 여기서, 또한 1개 또는 2개의 비인접-CH2-기는-O-,-CO-,-COO-,-OCO-또는 -CH=CH-로 대체될 수 있고;는 서로 독립적으로, 트란스 -1,4- 시클로헥실렌, 1,4-페닐렌, 2-플루오로-1,4-페닐렌, 3-플루오로-1,4-페닐렌, 2,3-디플루오로-1,4-페닐렌 또는 3,5-디플루오로 -1,4-페닐렌이거나,중 하나는 달리 피리미딘 -2,5-디일, 피리딘- 2,5- 디일 또는 트란스 -1,4- 디옥산-2,5-디일이고; Z1및 Z2는 서로 독립적으로 직접 결합, -CH2-CH2-, -COO-, -OCO-, -CH=CH- 또는 -C≡C-이고; X1, X2및 X3은 서로 독립적으로 H또는 F이고; R3는 R3과 동일하거나 Q-Y이고; Q는 -CF2-, -OCF2-,C2F4-또는 직접 결합이고 ; Y는 H , F, Cl 또는 CN이고 ;n은 0,1 또는 2이다.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 액정층이 R3'가 CN인 1개 이상의 화학식(I)의 화합물의 혼합물을 포함하는 것인 액정 디스플레이 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 액정층이 R3'가 CN이고, X1이 H 이고 X2및 X3중 적어도 하나가 F 인 1개 이상의 화학식 (I)의 화합물의 혼합물을 포함하는 것인 액정 디스플레이 장치.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 액정층이 R3'가 CN이고 X1이 H이고, Z2가 -COO-이고 X2및X3중 적어도 하나가 F인 1개 이상의 화학식 (I)의 화합물의 혼합물을 포함하는 것인 액정 디스플레이 장치.
