Abstract
백색 광원(light source)이 중간에 검은 밴드(211,214,218)를 갖고, 적색, 녹색, 청색 밴드(212,216,220)들로 분리 되어지는 칼라 비데오 프로젝션 비데오 시스템, 스캐닝 광학은 칼라 밴드들이 전송 LCD 패널과 같은 광 밸브에서 연속적으로 스캔이 되어지도록 한다. 광 밸브 위의 광 패널 중 한 열(row)위를 각 칼라가 지나가기전에, 그 열은 디스플레이 되어지는 이미지의 그 부분이 갖고 있는 적당한 칼라 내용과 함께 디스플레이 장치에 의해 어드레스 되어질 것이다. 패널의 그 이미지는 프로젝션 렌즈에 의해, 스크린과 같은 표면에 프로젝트 되어진다. 어떤 형태의 광 밸브들과 함께 사용되어 졌을 때, 그 시스템의 칼라 순도를 최적화시키기 위해, 세 칼라 사이의 구간들(dR,dG,dB)은 조정이 되어지며, 각 칼라에 대한 LCD 패널의 다른 응답 시간에 맞추어 정해진다. 게다가 칼라 균형은 다른 것과 비교된 각 칼라 밴드의 상대적 크기를 변화시킴으로써 조정이 되어질 수 있다.

제4도는 광 밸브를 구동하기 위한 비데오 신호의 처리 과정을 도시한 도면,
제5도와 제6도는 개선된 스캔의 균일성을 제공하는 시스템의 정면도와 측면도,
제7도는 제5도와 제6도의 스캐닝 시스템의 평면도이며, 디크로익 미러의 입력 시스템과 출력 수정 렌즈를 보여주고 있다,
제8도와 제9도는 스캐닝 프리즘의 다른 실시예를 도시한 도면,
재10도와 4개, 6개, 8개의 면을 가진 프리즘에 대한 비선형을 스캐닝하는 도면,

Claims (12)
- 검은 밴드에 의해 각각 분리되어 있는 제1, 제2, 제3의 광 칼라 밴드들의 소스와, 입사하는 빛을 입력 비데오 신호에 따라 변조시키는 한 개의 광 밸브와, 상기 광 밸브 수단에 동시에 존재하는 상기 광 밴드를 상기 광 밸브를 가로질러 순차적으로 이동시키는 수단과, 상기 입력 비데오 신호를 광 밴드들의 빛을 변조시키기 위해 입사하는 광 밴드의 색깔에 대응하여 이미지 정보를 갖고 있는 상기 광 밸브 수단의 부분들을 어드레싱 시키는 수단과, 가시 표면상에 변조된 광 밴드를 프로젝션시키는 수단을 포함하는 칼라 이미지 프로젝션 시스템에 있어서, 상기 이동 수단은, 제1, 제2, 제3의 칼라 밴드중 적어도 한 개 사이의 검은 밴드는 다른 것의 검은 밴드와는 크기면에서 다르도록 하는 수단을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 칼라 이미지 프로젝션 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 밴드를 이동하는 상기 수단은 적어도 한 개의 네면을 가진 회전 프리즘으로 구성되어 있는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 밴드를 이동시키는 수단은 상기 제1, 제2, 제3의 칼라 밴드들을 위한 제1, 제2, 제3의 프리즘들로 구성되어 있으며, 상기 프리즘들은 공동 축을 중심으로 회전하며, 서로에 대해서 위상이 조절되어지며, 상기 각각의 프리즘간의 위상 각도들이 서로 다른 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 프리즘들은 4면을 가진 프리즘들로 구성되어 있으며, 제1프리즘은 제2프리즘에 대해 20°의 위상각에 위치하고 있으며, 제3프리즘은 제2프리즘에 대해 40˚의 위상각에 위치하고 있는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 밴드들을 이동시키는 수단은 제1, 제2, 제3의 독립적으로 회전가능한 미러들과 상기 광밸브 수단에 나타난 상기 제1, 제2, 제3의 칼라를 스캔하기 위해서 서로에 대해서 다른 시간 구간에서 상기 미러를 구동시키는 수단으로 구성되어 있는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 독립적으로 회전 가능한 미러들은 상기 미러 구동 수단에 의해 구동된 압전 구동기에 의해 동작되어지는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 회전가능한 미러들은 디크로익 미러들로 구성되어 있는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1, 제2, 제3의 광 칼라 밴드는 적색, 녹색, 청색 밴드들로 구성되어 있는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서, 적색 밴드의 각 면에 있는 검은 밴드들이 가장 큰 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 다른 밴드들에 대해서 상기 제1, 제2, 제3의 칼라 밴드의 이동 속도를 변환시키는 수단을 추가로 포함하는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 칼라 균형을 조정하기 위해 서로에 대해 상기 제1, 제2, 제3의 칼라 밴드 중 한개의 크기를 변화시키는 수단을 추가로 포함하는 디스플레이 시스템.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 칼라 밴드의 크기를 변화시키는 상기 수단은 압전 구동기에 의해 구동되는 독립적으로 회전 가능한 미러들로 구성되어 있는 디스플레이 시스템.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
