Abstract
A method for combining more than one light beam into a single beam for a display device includes reflecting the light beams (202, 204, 206) off a first reflective polarizer (122), and then reflecting them off dichroic filters (132, 134, 136) at substantially normal respective angles of incidence to combine them into a combined light beam (210).
