Abstract
본 발명은 칼륨 티타네이트로 된 촉매 담체와 동 촉매 담체에 부가된 귀금속을 포함하여 구성된 배기 가스 정화용 촉매에 관한 것이다. 상기 촉매 담체는 실질적으로 알루미나를 포함하지 않는다. 본 발명에 의한 촉매는 저온에서 높은 활성으로 배기 가스중 탄화수소 등을 산화시키며, 동시에 SO2가 설페이트로 전환하는 것을 억제시킨다. 본 발명에 의한 촉매는 촉매 담체로서 고형의 산도를 가지는 알루미나 같은 물질을 사용하지 않는다. 나아가, 본 발명에 의한 촉매는 디젤 엔진의 배기 가스를 정화하여 입자와 설페이트가 방출되는 것을 억제하시키고 탄화수소 및 일산화탄소를 효율적으로 전환시키는 데에 사용할 수 있다.

Claims (8)
- 화학식 K2O·nTiO2(n은 4 내지 8의 정수)으로 표시되는 칼륨 티타네이트를 포함하며, 알루미나를 실질적으로 포함하지 않는 촉매 담체와; 동 촉매 담체에 부가된 귀금속을 포함하여 구성된 배기 가스 정화용 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 귀금속이 백금, 팔라듐 및 로듐으로 구성된 그룹에서 선택된 하나 이상의 성분임을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서 상기 귀금속의 부가량이 상기 칼륨 티타네이트 100g을 기준으로 0.2 내지 10g의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 실리카(SiO2)졸, 티타니아(TiO2)졸 및 지르코니아(ZrO2)졸로 구성된 그룹에서 선택된 하나 이상의 결합제를 더욱 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 촉매 지지체와; 화학식 K2O·nTiO2(n은 4 내지 8의 정수)으로 표시되는 칼륨 티타네이트와, 실리카, 티타니아 및 지르코니아로 구성된 그룹에서 선택된 하나 이상의 성분, 그리고 이에 부가되어 있는 귀급속을 포함하며, 알루미나를 실질적으로 포함하지 않는 내열성 무기 산화물층을 포함하여 구성되는 배기 가스 정화용 촉매.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 귀금속이 백금, 팔라듐 및 로듐으로 구성된 그룹에서 선택된 하나 이상의 성분임을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 칼륨 티타네이트의 양이 상기 촉매 1ℓ당 20 내지 60g인 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 내열성 무기 산화물층이 상기 칼륨 티타네이트와 실리카를 포함하여 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
