Abstract

본 발명은 NOX정화용 촉매의 저온활성 향상을 도모하면서 그 내열성을 높이는 것으로, 상이한 2개의 촉매증(3)(4)을 담체(2)에 적층하여 담지하고 있다. 외측의 1층(3)은 제올라이트에 Pt와 Rh가 담지되어 이루어진 촉매층에 의해 형성하고, 내측의 제2층(4)은 알루미나에 Pd가 담지되어 이루어진 촉매층에 의해 형성한다.

Claims (9)

  1. 배기가스를 정화하기 위한 촉매층이 담체에 담지되어 있는 배기가스 정화용 촉매에 있어서, 상기 촉매층이 Pt와 Rh가 담지된 결정성 금속함유 실리케이트를 함유하는 제1층과, Pd를 함유한 제2층을 구비하고, 상기 제1층이 외측에 배치되고, 상기 제2층이 내측에 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1층이 제2층위에 직접 중첩되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2층의 Pd가 알루미나에 담지되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  4. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2층의 Pd가 결정성 금속함유 실리케이트에 담지되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1층 또는 제2층 중 적어도 한쪽이 세륨산화물을 함유한 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  6. 제1항 내지 제5항의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 촉매층의 전체에 점하는 제1층의 중량비율이 8/40~34/40인 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  7. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1층의 Rh 중량이 Pt중량의 1/90~2/5인 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  8. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1층에 알루미나이 첨가되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 배기가스 정화용 촉매가 이론공연비보다 산소과잉의 공연비에 이해 운전되는 운전영역을 가진 엔진의 배기가스를 정화하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기가스 정화용 촉매.
