Description

보존조성물 및 이를 이용한 수용성물 보존방법
본 발명은 미생물로 인한 퇴화에 대하여 식기세정액, 계면활성제 및 액체비누와 같은 수용성물을 보존하는 것에 관한 것이다.
보다 상세하게는, 본 발명은 미생물에 의해 퇴화되기 쉬운 물질을 보존하기 위하여 2-n-옥틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온, 5-클로로-2-메틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온 및 2-메틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온을 포함하는 조성물을 사용하는 것에 관한 것이다.
수용액내에서 유기물질을 함유한 물질은 미생물의 침해를 받기 쉽다.
식기 세정액, 계면할성제, 액체비누, 접착제, 금속가공액, 손세정제, 페인트, 미네랄슬러리, 중합체에멀션 및 샴푸와 같은 물질들을 통상적으로 부패미생물의 성장을 막기 위하여 항세균제와 함께 배합된다.
물질내에서 미생물의 성장을 막기 위한 여러 물질이 문헌에 소개되어 있다.
이하, 본 발명을 설명한다.
본 발면은 이소티아졸론을 조합하여 아주 소량으로 사용할때라도 비슷한 투여률에서 어떠한 성분보다도 효과적인 것이라는 발견에 관한 것이다.
본 발명의 바람직한 구체화는, a. 성분 1 : 5-클로로-2-메틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온 75%와 2-메틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온 25%의 혼합물을 포함하며; 및 b. 성분 2 : 2-n-옥틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온을 포함한다.
이들 2가지 성분은 성분 1 : 성분 2의 2 : 1-5 : 2 범위로 혼합되는 것이 좋다.
전형적인 사용수준은 활성성분으로서 성분 1 및 성분 2를 1~15ppm의 범위로, 바람직하게는 1ppm이상 4ppm미만 범위의 조성물을 사용하는 것이다.
이하, 본 발명을 실시예에 의해 설명한다.
[실시예]
상기 2가지 성분을 여러 가지 수준으로 식기세정액 배합물에 첨가하였다.
이 시험시료에 종전에 식기 세정액을 열화시킬 수 있는 것으로 알려진 박테리아를 혼입하였다.
이 시료에 4주에 걸쳐 매주 부가적으로 미생물을 투여하였다.
시료내에 존재하는 미생물 성장수준을 매주 측정하였다.
트립타카제 소이 한천배양(trypticase soy agar) 및 로즈 벤갈 크로람페니콜(rose bengal chloramphenicol)한천배양판을 이용하여 표준 플레이트 계수기술(Standard plate counting technique)을 사용하였다.
시료에 미생물설장이 없는 주(week)의 수(數)를 측정하여 시료를 평가하였다.
이들 물질내의 어떠한 성장도 수용할 수 없는 것으로 판단하고 실패(failure)라고 평가하였다.
성분 1의 MIC(최소 억제농도)
성분 1은 광범위한 항세균성을 갖는 것으로 알려져 있다.
여러 가지 종류의 미생물에 대한 성분 1의 최소억제농도(MID, minimun inhibitory concentrations)가 표 1에 나타나 있다.

성분 2의 NIC
성분 2는 진균류를 제거하는데 효과적이나 박테리아 특히 그램음성 박테리아를 제어하는데는 훨씬 덜 효과적이라고 알려져 있다.
여러 가지 종류의 미생물에 대한 최소 억제농도가 표 2에 나타나있다.

성분 2 그 자체는 전형적인 진균 및 박테리아 특히 그램음성 박테리아로써 쉽게 감염되는 물질 내에서의 미생물 성장을 막는데는 효과적이지 않다.
성분 1은 최소 4ppm의 투여량 수준에서 효과적인 것으로 알려져 있다.
그러나, 성분 1과 성분 2의 혼합물은 이 2가지 성분 각각의 활성 스펙트럼에 근거하여 추정될 수 있는 것보다 더 효과적인 것으로 발견되었다.
표 3에 액체 그릇 세정제에서 비교시험의 결과를 나타낸다(미생물 성장시작까지의 주(week)를 2성분의 농도함수로써 나타내었다).

상기 표 3에 보는 바와 같이, 본 발명에 의한 조성물은 소량 사용하더라도 이를 조성물을 이루는 각각의 성분 단독으로 사용하는 경우보다 그 활성이 뛰어남을 알 수 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 5-클로로-2-메틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온과 2-메틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온의 혼합물(성분 1) 및 2-n-옥틸-4-이소티아졸린-3-온(성분 2)를 성분 2에 대한 성분 1의 비를 5 : 1-2 : 1로 혼합한 혼합물을 포함하는 보존성 조성물.
  2. 첨구범위 1의 조성물을 수용성물의 보존에 효과적인 량으로 수용성물에 첨가함을 포함하는 수용성물 보존 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 첨가량은 1~15ppm임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 첨가량은 1~4ppm임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 수용성물은 식기 세정액, 계면활성제, 액체비누, 접착제, 금속가공액, 손 세정제, 페인트, 미네랄슬러리, 중합체에멀션 및 샴푸로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
