Abstract

본 발명은, 리튬을 충전 방전할 수 있는 양극과 음극 및 비수성 전해액을 구비한 리튬 2차 전지로서, 양극 또는 음극의 적어도 하나가(A)탄소분말과 결합제를 구성 성분으로 하는 복합재이며 구성 성분이 실란 커플링제로 처리된 복합재, (B)흑연 분말 70내지 99중량 %와 유사 흑연질 카본 블랙 30내지 1중량 %를 함유하는 혼합 탄소 분말과 결합제와의 복합재 및 (C)리튬과 전이금속의 복합 산화물 분말, 전기 전도재 분말 및 결합제를 구성성분으로 하는 복합재이며 구성 성분이 실란 커플링제로 처리된 복합재 중의 하나를 함유하는 전극임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지에 관한 것이다.
전극의 초기 충전 방전시에 불가역 용량을 작게 하여 리튬의 이용 효율을 향상시키고 초기 충전 방전 특성과 사이클성이 우수한 리튬 2차 전지용 전극 및 이를 사용하는 리튬 2차 전지를 제공한다.

Claims (10)

  1. 리튬을 충전 방전할 수 있는 양극과 음극 및 비수성 전해액을 구비한 리튬 2차 전지로서, 양극 또는 음극의 적어도 하나가, (A)탄소 분말과 결합제를 구성 성분으로 하는 복합재이며 구성 성분이 실란 커플링제로 처리된 복합재, (B)흑연 분말 70내지 99중량 %와 유사 흑연질 카본 블랙 30내지 1중량 %를 함유하는 혼합 탄소 분말과 결합제와의 복합재 및 (C)리튬과 전이금속의 복합 산화물 분말, 전기 전도재 분말 및 결합제를 구성성분으로 하는 복합재이며 구성 성분이 실란 커플링제로 처리된 복합재 중의 하나를 함유하는 전극임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지
  2. 제1항에 있어서, (A) 의 탄소 분말이 천연 흑연 분말 또는 인조 흑연 분말을 단일 성분 또는 주성분으로 하는 탄소 분말임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, (B)의 흑연 분말이 천연 흑연분말 또는 인조 흑연분말인 동시에 흑연질 카본 블랙이, X선 회절의 격자면 간격(d2)이 3.38 내지 3.46Å이며 결정자 두께 (Lc)가 50내지 150Å이고 진비중이 1.9 내지 2.1이고 평균 1차 입자 직경이 10내지 100nm인 탄소 분말임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, (B)의 혼합 탄소 분말과 결합제와의 복합재가 실란 커플링제로 처리됨을 특징으로 하는 리튬2차 전지.
  5. 음극이 제1항에 기재된 (A)또는(B)를 함유하는 전극임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지.
  6. 양극이 제1항에 기재된 (C)를 함유하는 전극임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지.
  7. 음극이 제1항에 기재된 (A)또는 (B)를 함유하는 전극이고, 양극이 제1항에 기재된 (C)를 함유하는 전극임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지.
  8. 리튬을 충전 방전할 수 있는 전극층을 집전체 위에 형성하는 리튬 2차 전지용 시트상 전극의 제조방법에 있어서, 전극층을 형성하기 전에, 집전체 표면에 실란 커플링제를 도포하고, 건조시키는 공정을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지용 시트상 전극의 제조방법.
  9. 리튬을 충전 방전 할 수 있는 양극과 음극 및 비수성 전해액을 구비한 리튬 2차 전지에 있어서, 양극 또는 음극의 적어도 하나가 제8항에 따르는 제조방법으로 수득한 시트상 전극임을 특징으로 하는 리튬 2차 전지.
  10. 제8항에 있어서, 전극층이, (A)탄소 분말과 결합제를 구성 성분으로 하는 복합재이며 구성 성분이 실란 커플링제로 처리된 복합재, (B)흑연 분말 70내지 99중량 %와 유사 흑연질 카본 블랙 30내지 1중량 %를 함유하는 혼합 탄소 분말과 결합제와의 복합재 및 (C)리튬과 전이금속의 복합 산화물 분말, 전기 전도재 분말 및 결합제를 구성성분으로 하는 복합재이며 구성 성분이 실란 커플링제로 처리된 복합재 중의 하나를 함유하는 전극으로 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 시트상 전극의 제조방법.
