Abstract

고선명 텔레비젼 수상기는 수신된 고선명 텔레비젼 신호를 복호화하여 대응하는 고선명 텔레비젼 영상을 나타내는 디지탈 데이타 스트립을 발생하는 회로를 포함한다. 또한, 상기 수상기는 복호화된 데이타 스트립으로부터 감소된 해상도 영상을 나타내는 신호를 발생하는 회로를 포함한다. 상기 수상기는 출력 포트에 고선명 텔레비젼 신호를 감소된 해상도 신호 모두를 제공한다. 비디오 테이프 레코더(VTR)는 두 신호를 수신하여 그들을 분할하고 그들을 테이프에 포맷하여 대부분의 감소된 해상도 세그먼트가 복원되어 적어도 하나의 VTR 트릭 플레이 모드로 디스플레이될 수 있도록 한다. 감소된 해상도 영상은 동일 채널 또는 다른 채널에서 올 수 있으며 주 고선명 영상내에 삽입 화상(PIX-IN-PIX)으로서도 디스플레이될 수 있다.

제1도는 본 발명의 일실시예를 포함하는 텔레비젼 수상기의 블럭도, 제2도는 본 발명의 다른 실시예를 포함하는 텔레비젼 수상기의 블럭도, 제3도는 제2도에 도시된 텔레비젼 수상기에서 사용하기에 적당한 저해상도 HDTY 디코더의 블럭도, 제6도는 본 발명에서 사용된 VCR기록 포맷을 설명하는데 유용한 비디오 테이프의 일부분의 도해도.

Claims (8)

  1. 프레임내 부호화 및 예측 부호화 기법 모두를 사용하여 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화할 수 있는 고선명 텔레비젼 수상기에 있어서, 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위한 수신 수단과, 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화하여 고선명 비디오 영상을 나타내는 복호확된 디지탈 신호를 발생하는 복호화 수단고, 복호화된 디지탈 신호에 응답하여 복호화된 디지탈 신호내의 샘플수를 감소시켜 감소된 화소수를 갖는 비디오 영상을 나타내는 데시메이트된 비디오 신호를 발생시키는 데시메이트 수단(decimatingmeans과, 예측 부호화 기법을 제외하고 프레임내 부호화 기법을 사용하여 데시메이트된 비디오 신호를 부호화하여 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 발생시키는 부호화 수단 및, 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호 및 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호 모두를 제공하는 출력 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 텔레비젼 수상기.
  2. 프레임내 부호화 및 예측 부호화 기법 모두를 사용하여 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화할 수 있는 고선명 비디오 신호 처리 장치에 있어서, 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위한 수신 장치와, 부호화도니 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화하여 고선명 비디오 영상을 나타내는 복호화된 디지탈 신호를 발생하는 복호화 수단과, 복호화된 디지탈 신호에 응답하여 복호화된 디지탈 신호내의 샘플수를 감소시켜 감소된 화소수를 갖는 비디오 영상을 나타내는 데시메이트된 비디오 신호를 발생시키는 데시메이트 수단과, 예측부호화 기법을 제외하고 프레임내 부호화 기법을 사용하여 데시메이트된 비디오 신호를 부호화하여 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 발생시키는 부호화 수단과, 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호 및 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호 모두를 제공하는 출력 수단 및, 적어도 하나의 특릭 플레이 모드를 가지며 상기 출력 수단에 의해 제공되는 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호와 부화화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위해 결합된 비디오 테이프 레코더(VYR)를 구비하는데, 상기 VTR은 각각의 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호와 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 각각의 세그먼트로 분리하는 분리 수단과, 상기 고선명 비디오 신호의 세그먼트들과 상기 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호의 세그먼트들을 인터리빙(interleaving)하여 합성 신호를 발생하는 인터리빙 수단 및, 부호화된 저 해상도 신호의 대부분이 트릭 플레이 모드시 VTR에 의해 복원될 수 있도록 상기 합성 신호를 비디오 테이프에 기록하는 기록 수단을 포함하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 비디오 신호 처리 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 복호화 수단에 결합되어 있고 디스플레이 장치를 포함하며 복호화된 디지탈 신호를 처리하여 디스플레이 장치에 고선명 비디오 신호를 재생시키는 재생 수단을 더 구비한 것을 특징으로하는 고선명 비디오 신호 처리 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 또 하나의 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위한 수신 장치와, 또 하나의 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화하여 또 하나의 고선명 비디오 영상을 나타내는 또 하나의 복호화된 디지탈 신호를 발생시키는 또 하나의 복호화 수단 및, 상기 또 하나의 복호화된 디지탈 신호와 상기 데시메이트된 비디오 신호에 결합되어 그 수신된 비디오 신호를 처리하여 상기 디스플레이 장치에 고선명 비디오 영상을 재생하고 고선명 비디오 영상에 삽입시켜 감소된 해상도 비디오 영상을 재생시키는 재생 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 비디오 신호 처리 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호는 프레임내 부호화와 예측 부호화 기법 모두를 사용하여 부호화되고, 상기 데시메이트 수단은 상기 복호화된 디지탈 신호에 비해 1/4정도의 비율로 데시메이트된 비디오 신호에서의 샘플수를 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 텔레비젼 수상기.
  6. 트릭 플레이 모드로 영상 재생을 실행하는 고선명 텔레비젼 수상기와 레코더에 있어서, 프레임내 부호화 및 예측 부호화 기법 모두를 사용하여 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위한 수신 수단과, 적어도 하나의 트릭 플레이 모드를 가지며 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호와 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위해 결합된 비디오 테이프 레코더(VTR)및, 부호화된 저 해상도 신호의 대부분이 트릭 플레이모드에서 VTR에 의해 복원될 수 있도록 합성 신호를 비디오 테이프에 기록하는 기록 수단을 구비하는데, 상기 수신 수단은 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화하여 고선명 비디오 영상을 나타내는 복호화된 디지탈 신호를 발생시키는 복호화 수단과, 복호화된 디지탈 신호에 응답하여 복호화된 디지탈 신호내의 샘플수를 감소시켜 감소된 화소수를 갖는 비디오 영상을 나타내는 데시메이트된 비디오 신호를 발생시키는 데시메이트 수단 및, 예측 부호화 기법을 제외하고 프레임내 부호화 기법을 사용하여 데시메이트된 비디오 신호를 부호화하여 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 발생시키는 부호화 수단을 구비하고 있으며, 상기 VTR은 각각의 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호와 부호화된 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 각각의 세그먼트로 분리하는 분리 수단 및, 고선명 비디오 신호의 세그먼트들을 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 각각의 세그먼트로 분리하는 분리 수단 및, 고선명 비디오 신호의 세그먼트들을 저 해상도 비디오 신호의 세그먼트들과 인터리빙하여 합성 신호를 발생시키는 인터리빙 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 텔레비젼 수신기와 레코더.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 또 하나의 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 수신하는 수신 수단과, 또 하나의 부호화된 고선명 비디오 신호를 복호화하여 또 하나의 고선명 비디오 신호를 나타내는 또 하나의 복호화된 디지탈 신호를 발생시키는 또 하나의 복호화 수단 및, 또 하나의 복호화된 디지탈 신호 및 저 해상도 비디오 신호를 수신하기 위해 결합되어 있으며 수신된 신호들을 처리하여 디스플레이 장치에 고선명 비디오 영상을 재생하고 고선명 비디오 영상에 삽입시켜 감소된 해상도 비디오 영상을 재새시키는 처리 수단을 더 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 텔레비젼 수상기와 레코더.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 데시메이트 수단은 데시메이트된 비디오 신호내의 샘플수를 복호화된 디지탈 신호에 비해 1/4의 비율로 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 고선명 텔레비젼 수상기와 레코더.
