Abstract

폴리에틸렌-2,6-나프탈렌 디카르복실레이트를 소재로하는 2축 배향 베이스 필름 및 이것을 사용한 고밀도 자기 기록용 플로피 디스크를 제공한다. 이 베이스 필름 및 플로피 디스크는, 고속회전에 있어서도 자기 헤드와 일정조건에 있어서의 접촉을 가능케하는, 필름면의 바이브레이션을 억제한, 그리고 뛰어난 점탄성을 구비하고 있는 점에서 특징적이다.

Claims (12)

  1. (a) 폴리에틸렌-2,6-나프탈렌 디카르복실레이트로 실질적으로 구성되고, (b) 필름 표면의 돌기의 높이(h, 단위 nm)와 개수가 하기식(1), (2) 및 (3)
    를 만족시키고, (c) 면배향계수(NS)와 평균굴절율(n)이 하기식(4) 및 (5)
    을 만족시키고, (d) 필름내면의 어떤 방향에 있어서의 주파수 110Hz, 온도 60℃에서의 점탄성 계수(tan δ)가 0.08이하이고, (e) 필름면내의 어떤 방향에 있어서의 60℃, 80%RH의 분위기중, 무하중, 72시간 열처리시의 열수축 율이 0.05%이하이고, 그리고 105℃, 무하중, 0.5시간 열처리시의 열수축율이 0.3%이하인, 것을 특징으로 하는 고밀도 자기 기록 플로피 디스크용 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 필름 표면의 돌기의 높이(h, 단위 nm)와 개수가 하기식(1)-1, (2)-1 및 (3)-1
    를 만족시키는 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 면배향계수(NS)와 평균 굴절율()이 하기식 (4)-1
    및 상기식(5)를 만족시키는 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 필름면내의 어떤 방향에 있어서의 점탄성계수(tan δ)가 0.06이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 필름면내의 어떤 방향에 있어서의 60℃, 80% RH의 분위기중, 무하중 72시간 열처리시의 열수축율이 0.02%이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 필름면내의 어떤 방향에 있어서의 105℃, 무하중 0.5시간 열처리시의 열수축율이 0.2%이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 필름면내에 있어서의 온도 팽창계수의 최대치와 최소치의 차가 8×10-6/℃이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  8. 제1항에 있어서 필름면내에 있어서의 습도팽창계수의 최대치와 최소치의 차가 4×10-6/%RH이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 필름의 늘어짐이 15mm이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  10. 제1항에 있어서, 필름 두께의 불균일이 4% 이하인 2축 배향 베이스 필름.
  11. 제1항의 2축 배향 베이스 필름 및 이 베이스 필름의 양표면상의 자기층으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 고밀도 자기 기록용 플로피 디스크.
  12. 제1항의 2축 배향 베이스 필름의 고밀도 자기 기록용 플로피 디스크에의 사용.
