Abstract

본 발명은 내연기관용 필터가 포집(捕集)한 파티큘레이트를 상기 필터로부터 제거하는 재생장치와 그 재생방법에 관한 것이며, 파티큘레이트를 유전가열하는 마이크로파 발생수단(17)과, 유전가열된 파티챨레이트의 연소를 촉진하는 기체공급수단(44)과, 필퍼(16)를 수납한 가열공간내(15)의 배기가스비통류공간(30)에 개재시킨 동축선로(32)의 중심도체(31)에 의해서 구성한 물리량검출수단(29)과, 상기 마이크로파 발생수단(17)을 동작시켜서 얻게되는 물리량검출수단(29)의 검출신호에 의거해서 마이크로파 발생수단(17) 및 기체 공급수단(44)의 동작을 제어하는 제어수단(33)을 구비하고, 포집량 또는 연소상태에 따라서 마이크로파의 발생 및 기체의 공급타이밍을 제어하여 파티큘레이트 연소의 안정화를 도모하고 필터(16)의 포집성능을 재생시킨다.

Description

내연기관용필터의 재생장치 및 그 재생방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명 제1실시예를 표시한 내연기관용 필터의 재생장치의 구성도, 제3도는 제1도의 가열공간내에 발생하는 마이크로파 전계분포 특성도, 제7도는 본 발명 제1실시예를 표시한 내연기관용 필터의 포집시와 재생시의 제어방법의 타임차아트도면.

Claims (9)

  1. 내연기관이 배출하는 배기가스속에 함유되는 파티큘레이트를 포집(捕集)한 필터와, 상기 필터를 내부에 수용하는 가열공간과, 상기 가열공간내에 급전하는 마이크로파를 발생하는 마이크로파 발생수단과, 상기 가열공간에 산소를 함유하는 기체를 공급하는 기체공급수단과, 상기 필터에 포집된 파티큘레이트의 물리량을 검출하는 물리량검출수단을 구비하고, 상기 물리량검출수단은 동축선로로 구성하여 동축선로의 중심도체를 상기 가열공간내에 있어서의 배기가스의 비통류공간에 개재시키는 구성으로 한 것을 특징으로 하고, 상기 마이크로파 발생수단을 동작시켜서 얻게되는 물리량검출수단의 검출신호에 의거해서 상기 마이크로파 발생수단 및 상기 기체공급수단의 동작을 제어하는 제어수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제어수단은, 물리량검출수단의 검출신호의 절대치 및/또는 검출신호의 시간적 변화량에 의거해서 제어를 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생장치.
  3. 내연기관이 배출하는 배기가스속에 함유되는 파티큘레이트를 포집하는 필터로부터 파티큘레이트를 제거하기 위한 방법에 있어서, (a) 마이크로파에 의해 파티큘레이트를 유전가열하는 단계와, (b) 상기 파티큘레이트를 소정온도에 유전가열후, 필터에 산소를 함유하는 기체를 공급하고, 마이크로파와 기체의 공급에 의해 파티큘레이트를 연소시키는 단계와, (c) 마이크로파의 공급을 정지후, 필터에 소정시간 상기 기체의 공급을 계속하는 단계를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 단계(b)의 기체의 공급을 개시하는 시기는, 필터에 포집된 파티큘레이트의 물리량을 적어도 상기 단계(a)에 있어서 검출하는 신호의 절대치 또는 그 시간적 변화치에 의거해서 결정한 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생방법.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 단계(c)의 마이크로파의 공급을 정지하는 시기는, 필터에 포집된 파티큘레이트의 물리량을 적어도 상기 단계(a)에 있어서 검출하는 신호의 절대치 또는 그 시간적 변화치에 의거해서 결정 및/또는 상기 단계(b)에 있어서 검출하는 신호의 절대치가 소정치이상으로 되므로서 결정한 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생방법.
  6. 내연기관이 배출하는 배기가스속에 함유되는 파티큘레이트를 포집하는 필터와 상기 필터를 내부에 수용하는 가열공간과, 상기 가열공간내에 급전하는 마이크로파를 발생하는 마이크로파 발생수단과, 상기 가열 공간에 산소를 함유하는 기체를 공급하는 기체공급수단과, 상기 필터에 포집된 파티큘레이트의 물리량을 검출하는 물리량검출수단과, 상기 물리량검출수단의 검출신호에 의거해서 상기 마이크로파 발생수단 및 상기 기체공급수단의 동작을 제어하는 제어수단을 구비하고 상기 제어수단은 상기 마이크로파 발생수단의 동작을 개시후, 소정시간후에 상기 기체공급수단의 동작을 개시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은, 상기 마이크로파 발생수단의 동작을 정지후, 소정시간후에 상기 기체공급수단의 동작을 정지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생장치.
  8. 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 물리량검출수단은, 상기 가열공간내의 마이크로파 전자계분포의 변화를 검출하는 구성으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 내연기관용 필터의 재생장치.
  9. 제 6 항 또는 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제어수단은, 상기 기체공급수단의 동작을 정지후, 상기 물리량검출수단에 의해 검출하는 신호의 값이 이상한 경우, 이상을 알리는 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 내연 기관용 필터의 재생장치.
