Abstract

본 발명은 디아미노 화합물과 그를 이용한 액정배열판에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 다음 구조식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 신규 디아미노 화합물, 그들의 제조방법, 그 화합물을 이용하여 높은 예경각(豫傾角 ; pretilt angles)을 갖는 액정배열판(liquid crystal alignment layers) 및 액정배열판으로 이루어진 액정화면 소자(liquid crystal display devices)에 관한 것이다.
상기식에서, R은 수소원자 또는 C1∼C8알킬기이고, X,Y 및 Z는 수소원자, 플루오로 또는 C1∼C3알킬기이고, 이들은 같거나 다른 것으로서 이들 치환기의 위치는 오르토- 또는 메타- 위치이다.

디아미노 화합물과 그 제조방법 및 그를 이용한 액정 배열판

제 1 도는 C-V 이력(履歷)곡선을 나타내는 그래프,
제 2 도는 전압유지비율을 측정하는 회로,
제 3 도에서 Vs는 게이트진동폭 69㎲, 주파수 60Hz, 피이크가(peak value) ±4.5V를 가지는 직사각형파를 나타내고, VD는 제 2 도의 회로소스(circuit source)에 Vs를 적용하여 오실로스코프에 의해 나타낸 파형.

Claims (9)

  1. 다금 구조식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 디아미노 화합물.
    상기식에서, R은 수소원자 또는 C1∼C8알킬기이고, X,Y, 및 Z는 수소원자, 플루오로 또는 C1∼C3알킬기이고, 이들은 같거나 다른 것으로서 이들 치환기의 위치는 오르토- 또는 메타- 위치이다.
  2. 다금 구조식(Ⅱ)로 표시되는 디페닐시클로헥산 유도체와 다음 구조식(Ⅲ)으로 표시되는 p-니트로벤조일 클로라이드를 축합시키고, 이어서 카르보닐기와 니트로기를 환원시켜 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 구조식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 디아미노 화합물의 제조방법.
    상기식에서, R,X,Y 및 Z는 상기 제 1 항에서 정의한 바와같다.
  3. 상기 제 1 항의 구조식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 디아미노 화합물을 가지는 긴사슬의 고분자 물질을 주요성분으로 함유하는 액정배열판.
  4. 다음 구조식(Ⅳ)로 표시되는 폴리이미드를 주요성분으로 하는 액정 배열판.
    상기식에서, R,X,Y 및 Z는 상기 제 1 항에서 정의한 바와같고, A는 4가 방향족기, 4가의 지방족기 또는 4가의 방향족기와 4가의 지방족기의 복합체이다.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리이미드는 폴리아믹산을 만들 수 있는 용매하에서 다음 구조식(Ⅴ)로 표시되는 테트라카르복실릭 디안하이드라이드 화합물과 상기 구조식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 디아미노 화합물을 반응시키고 생성된 폴리아믹산을 가열시켜 얻어진 것임을 특징으로 하는 액정배열판.
    상기식에서, A는 상기 제 4 항에서 정의한 바와같다.
  6. 제 3 항의 액정배열판이 정착된 액정화면소자.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서, 상기 액정화면소자는 양극유전비등방성 네마틱액정혼합물을 사용한 것임을 특징으로 하는 것.
  8. 제 4 항의 액정배열판이 장착된 액정화면소자.
  9. 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 액정화면소자는 양극유전비등방성 네마틱액정혼합물을 사용한 것임을 특징으로 하는 것.
