본발명은 Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O계 초전도체의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 종래의 Bi-계 고온 초전도체 세라믹스의 제조방법은 제1도에서와 같이 원료분말인 Bi2O3, PbO, SrCo3, CaCo3, CuO를 볼밀(ball mill)을 이용하여 12-48시간 분쇄 혼합하여 600-850℃에서 12-48시간씩 하소를 2∼3회 반복한 후 800-900℃에서 7-10일 소결을 행하였다.
이와같은 종래의 제조방법은 소결시간이 7-10일 정도 소요되므로 아주 비경제적이었다. 이에따라 본발명은 상기와 같은 종래의 문제점을 해결코자 하는 것으로서 이하 본발명을 구체적으로 설명한다.
본발명의 Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O계 고온 초전도체 세라믹스 제조방법은 제2도에서와 같이 원료분말인 Bi2O3, SrCo3, CaCo3, CuO, PbO를 각각 1.4:0.6:2:2:3.8의 몰비로 평량한후 볼밀을 이용하여 혼합및 분쇄한후 600-800℃에서 24-48시간 2-3회 하소를 한다.
그후 800-900℃에서 48시간 소결을 행한후 콜드프레싱(Cold Pressing)하여 원하는 크기로 성형하고 800-900℃에서 제3도의 핫프레스의 압력봉(4)을 이용하여 시료(3)에 압력변화 시키면서 2일간 소결을 한다.
도면상 미설명부호 1은 지지대이고, 2는 발열체이다. 이와같이 본발명은 소결을 행한후 콜드프레싱과 핫 프레싱후 2일정도만 소결을 하므로서 종래의 소결시간인 7일간에 비해 약 1/3이하로 단축하므로서 생산성 향상에 기여 한다.
이상에서와 같이 본발명은 제4도와 같이 압력변화에 따른 전기적 특성이 조사되었고 또한 제5도에서와 같이 압력변화에 따른 자기적 특성을 조사하였다. 전기적 특성조사에서 압력변화에 따른 초전도체의 TC(임계온도)의 변화는 (표 1)과 같이 나타났다.

- 원료분말인 Bi2O3, SrCo3, CaCo3, CuO, PbO를 평량하여 볼밀(ball mill)에서 혼합, 분쇄한후 600-800℃에서 24-48시간 2-3회 하소하고, 800-900℃에서 48시간 소결하여 콜드프레싱(Cold Pressing)을 거친후 800-900℃에서 핫프레스(Hot Press)한다음 2일간 소결함을 특징으로한 Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O계 초전도체의 제조방법.
