  4. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(a)에서 배기 가스를 약 25psia 내지 약 120psia 범위의 압력으로 압축시키는 방법
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(a)에서 배기 가스를 알칼리 세정제(scrubber)로 처리하므로써 정제하여 황 산화물 오염물질을 제거하는 방법
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(c)에서 배기 가스를 선택성 촉매의 존재하에 암모니아로 처리하므로써 정제하여 질소산화물 오염물질을 제거하여 질소 및 물을 생성시키는 방법
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(c)에서 배기 가스를 산화 촉매로 처리하므로써 정제하여 일산화탄소 오염물질을 제거하는 방법.

(a)입상 물질을 제거하기 위해 배기가스를 처리하는 단계, (b)배기가스를 약 25psia내지 약 200psia범위의 압력으로 압축시키는 단계, (c)미량의 오염물질을 제거하기 위해 배기가스를 정제하는 단계, (d)이산화탄소가 풍부한 분획물 및 질소가 풍부한 분획물을 생성시키기 위해 배기가스를 분리하는 단계, (e)순수한 이산화탄소를 생성시키기 위해 이산화탄소가 풍부한 분획물을 액화시키고 휘발성 오염물질을 증류제거하는 단계, (f)오염물질을 제거하기 위해 질소 및 아르곤이 풍부한 분획물을 정제하는 단계, 및 (g)순수한 질소 및 아르곤을 생성시키기 위해 질소및 아르곤이 풍부한 분획물을 저온 분별증류하는 단계, 및 (h)수수한 아르곤을 생성시키기 위해 아르곤이 풍부한 분획물을 정제하는 단계를 포함하는, 약10중량%미만의 산소를 함유한 연소 배기 가스로 부터 이산화탄소 및 질소를 생성시키는 방법.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 연소 배기 가스가 약 4 중량% 미만의 산소를 함유하는 방법.
  14. 제12항에 있어서, 단계(b)에서 배기 가스를 약 25psia 내지 약 120psia 범위의 압력으로 압축시키는 방법
