Claims (4)

  1. 산소, 일산화탄소 및 수소불순물을 포함하고, 상기 일산화탄소와 수소불순물의 합이 산소불순물의 몰농도에 2배 이상인 벌크불활성기체류를 정화하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 환원된 구리를 포함하는 촉매존재하의 150 내지 250℃의 온도에서 상기 벌크불활성 가스류에 존재하는 산소를 상기 벌크불활성 가스류에 존재하는 일산화탄소 및 수소와 반응시켜 이산화탄소 및 물을 형성시키고; (b) 단계(a)에서의 미반응 일산화탄소 및 수소를 산화구리를 포함하는 촉매와 150 내지 250℃의 온도에서 반응시켜 이산화탄소 및 물을 형성케함으로써 산화구리를 포함하고 있는 촉매에서 일부분의 상기 산화구리가 환원되어 환원된 구리를 형성하고 및 (c) 상기 물과 이산화탄소를 흡수제상에서 흡수하여 물과 이산화탄소를 제거하는 일련의 연속적인 단계를 포함하는 상기 벌크불활성 가스류를 정화하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(c)의 흡수체가 분자체 흡수제인 방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(b)의 환원된 구리를 산소를 포함하는 기체류와 약 50 내지 약 150℃에서 접촉시킴으로써 상기 환원된 구리를 재산화시키는 또한 포함하는 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 단계(c)의 흡수제를 상기 방법에 의해 산출된 벌크불활성정화가스류의 일부분을 약 150 내지 약 250℃ 온도에서 반응시킴으로써 상기 흡수제를 재생시키는 것을 또한 포함하는 방법.
