Claims (16)

  1. 광섬유 전송 시스템용 원격 측정 시스템으로, 광학적으로 펌프된 광학 증폭기와, 상기 광학 증폭기에 결합되어 원격 측정 신호를 전송하기 위해 펌프 신호를 변조하기 위한 변조수단을 포함하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광학적으로 폄프된 광학 증폭기는 상기 광학중폭기에 의해 요청된 것보다 더 큰 신호를 갖는 펌프를 포함하는 원격측정 시스템.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 변조 수단은, 펌프 신호를 변조하기 위해 결합된 변조기, 상기 변조기에 결합되어 펌프 신호를 변조하기 위한 캐리어 신호를 제공하는 발진기와, 캐리어 신호를 변조하는 상기 변조기에 원격 측정신호를 커플링하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 변조기는 상기 원격 측정 신호로 상기 캐리어 신호를 진폭 변조하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 변조기는 상기 원격 측정 신호를 상기 캐리어 신호를 주파수 변조하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  6. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 변조기는 상기 원격 측정 신호로 상기 캐리어 신호를 위상-시프트 키이 변조하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  7. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 변조기는 상기 원격 측정 신호로 상기 캐리어 신호를 진폭 시프트 키이 변조하는 원격측정 시스템.
  8. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 변조기는 상기 원격 측정 신호로 상기 캐리어 신호를 주파수 시프트 키에 변조하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  9. 광학 신호를 전송하기 위한 광학 증폭기에 결합된 광섬유, 상기 광학 중폭기에 의해 증폭된 데이타 신호로부터 수신된 펌프 신호를 분리하기 위해 상기 광학 증폭기로부터 원격된 위치에서 상기 광섬유에 결합된 커플러를 포함하는 제3항의 원격측정 시스템.
  10. 캐리어 신호로부터 원격 측정 신호를 분리하기 위해 상기 커플러로부터 펌프 신호를 수신하도록 결합된 복조 수단을 포함하는 제9항의 원격 측정시스템.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 캐리어 신호의 주파수는 2㎑ 내지 400㎑ 범위 사이에 있는 원격 측정 시스템.
  12. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 광학 증폭기로부터의 신호 파장은 실제로 1.55㎛이고, 펌프로부터의 신호 파장은 실제 1.48㎛혹은 그 이하인 원격 측정 시스템.
  13. 제3항에 있어서, 변조된 캐리어 신호는 데이타와 동일한 방향(상호 전파 방향)으로 주행하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  14. 제3항에 있어서, 변조된 캐리어 신호는 데이타의 방향과 반대방향(카운타 전파방향)으로 주행하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  15. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 발진기는 상기 광학 증푹기에 의해 증폭된 데이타 신호의 이득 변조를 얻기 위해 2㎑ 보다 작은 주파수를 갖는 신호를 발생하는 원격 측정 시스템.
  16. 광학 증폭기로, 도프된 광섬유, 상기 도프된 광섬유를 펌프하기 위한 펌프, 상기 펌프에 결합되어 상기 펌프로부터 도프된 광섬유로 신호를 변조하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 광학증폭기.
