Claims (19)
- 비자성 지지체상의 한쪽면에 지지체로부터 보다 멀리 위치하는 상부 자성층과 지지체에 보다 가깝게 위치하는 하부 자성층을 가지며, 상부 자성층은 바인더, 30㎡/g 이상의 초기 BET 비표면적을 갖는 자성분 및 알루미나, 탄화규소, Cr2O3, 실리카, α-Fe2O3, TiO3및 지르코니아로 되는 군 중에서 선택된 적어도 1종의 연마재를 자성분 100중량부 당 3내지 20중량부의 비율로 함유하고, 하부 자성층은 바인더와 30㎡/g미만의 초기 BET 비표면적을 갖는 자성분을 함유하고, 상부 자성층과 하부 자성층 각각에 함유된 바인더의 종류가 서로 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부층 및 하부층에 함유된 바인더가 폴리염화비닐 수지, 폴리우레탄 수지 및 폴리에틸렌 수지 또는 폴리에틸렌 수지로 된 군 중에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 수지들이 각각 하기 식중에서 선택된 기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.상기 각 식에서, M은 수소 원자, 리튬 원자 또는 나트륨 원자이고, M¹과M²는 서로 동일하거나 또는 다를 수 있는 것으로서, 각각 수소 원자, 리튬 원자, 칼륨 원자, 나트륨 원자 또는 알킬기이다.
- 제2항에있어서, 상부층 및 하부층에 함유된 바인더가 각각 폴리우레탄 수지와 폴리염화비닐 수지의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제2항에있어서, 상부층 및 하부층에 함유된 바인더가 각각 폴리우레탄 수지와 염화비닐-아세트산비닐 코폴리머 수지의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제2항에있어서, 상부층 및 하부층에 함유된 바인더가 각각 폴리우레탄수지, 폴리염화비닐 수지 및 염화비닐-아세트산비닐 코폴리머 수지의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부층에 함유된 자성분의 초기 BET 비표면적이 45㎡/g 내지 70㎡/g인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상부층에 함유된 자성분의 초기 BET 비표면적이 50㎡/g 내지 70㎡/g인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하부층에 함유된 자성분의 초기 BET 비표면적이 20㎡/g 내지 29㎡/g인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 하부층에 함유된 자성분의 초기 BET 비표면적이 25㎡/g 내지 29㎡/g인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부층에 함유된 자성분의 평균 장축 길이가 0.1㎛내지 0.25㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부층에 함유된 자성분의 평균 축비가 7내지 9인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하부층에 함유된 자성분의 평균 장축 길이가 0.25㎛ 내지 0.40㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하부층에 함유된 자성분의 평균 축비가 9 내지 12인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 연마재가 0.6㎛ 이하의 입도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부층 및 하부층 각각에 함유된 자성분이 강자성 금속 분말,-Fe2O3분말, Co 함유-Fe3O4분말, Co 함유 Fe3O4분말, Co 함유 FeOx 분말 (x는 4/3x3/2) 또는 CrO2분말인 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부 자성층이 1.0㎛이하의 두께를 갖고, 하부 자성층이 1.5㎛ 내지 4.0㎛의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상부 자성층이 0.3 내지 1.0㎛의 두께를 갖고, 하부 자성층이 2.0㎛ 내지 3.5㎛의 두께를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 매체.
