제1도는 토우(tow)로부터 본 발명의 연마패드를 제조하는데 유용한 공정과 기구를 도식적으로 설명한 도면이다.
제2도는 거의 모든 열가소성 유기 필라멘트가 길이에 따라서 거의 일정한 간격으로 결합되어 있는 개방된 로프티 필라멘트 열의 단면에 대한 사시도이다.
제3도는 본 발명에 따라서 제조된 개별 패드에 대한 사시도이다.
Claims (10)
- 다수의 권축 또는 파상의 연속상인 열가소성 유기 필라멘트를 포함하는 세척용 패드 제품에 있어서, 상기 각각의 필라멘트는 제1결합지역과 제2결합지역에서 제각기 거의 모두가 서로 결합되는 제1결합 말단과 제2결합 말단을 가져서 개방된 로프티 부직포 패드를 제공함을 특징으로 하는 세척용 패드 제품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 결합지역이 상기 패드의 반대 말단을 구획함을 또한 특징으로 하는 패드 제품.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 결합지역이 장방형의 반대편을 구획함을 또한 특징으로 하는 패드 제품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 결합지역이 용융-융합된 필라멘트 말단을 포함하는 것을 또한 특징으로 하는 패드 제품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 결합지역이 접착제 결합의 필라멘트 말단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 패드 제품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 입자가 열경화성 결합 물질에 상기 필라멘트에 부착 결합되어 있는 것을 또한 특징으로 하는 패드 제품.
- (a) 다수의 연속상인, 권축 또는 파상의 열가소성 유기 필라멘트를 제1필라멘트 결합 부위에 상응하는 각 필라렌트의 제1지점과, 이 제1지점으로부터 떨어진 제2필라멘트 결합 부위에 상응하는 각 필라멘트의 제2지점을 가지는 개방된 로프티 열로 배열시키고 ; (b) 거의 모든 상기 열가소성 유기 필라멘트를 상기 제1 및 제2결합 부위에서 서로 결합시켜, 각각 결합된 필라멘트를 포함하는 제1결합지역과 제2결합지역을 제각기 제공하는데 있어서, 상기 결합지역은 충분한 크기이어서 결합지역당 적어도 2개의 결합지역 세그먼트 그것이 분할될 수 있고, 각 결합지역 세그멘트를 자체에서 단일 구조로 결합된 상기 필라멘트 열을 가지는 상태이고, 및 (c) 상기 제1 및 제2결합지역을 적어도 2개의 결합 세그멘트로 분할하여 각 결합지역 세그멘트가 자체에서 단일 구조로 결합된 상기 필라멘트 열을 가지며 상기 필라멘트열을 상기 결합지역내에서 절단하여 개방된 로프티 부직포 패드를 제공하는 단계를 포함하는, 세척용 패드 제품을 제조하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 유기 필라멘트를 개방된 로프티 열로 배열하는 상기 단계가 권축된 토우의 거의 전 길이를 연속적으로 개면하는 것을 포함하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 거의 모든 상기 열가소성 유기 필라멘트를 서로 결합하는 상기 단계가 열로 상기 필라멘트를 용융-융합시키는 것을 포함하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, (d) 열가소성 필라멘트의 상기 열을, 적어도 상기 결합지역 사이에서, 액상의 경화성, 열경화성 접착 결합 물질로 코팅시키고, (e) 다량의 연마 입자를 접착 결합체로 코팅된 열가소성 필라멘트열 전체에 배위시키고 ; 및 (f) 상기액상의 경화성 접착 결합 물질을 경화시켜 상기 연마입자를 열가소성 필라멘트의 상기 열에 결합시키는 추가의 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
