Abstract

PURPOSE:A plurality of thermal melting ink charging members are contacted with the side surface of a ribon of a thermal printing device of being inclined at various angle with respect to a moving direction of the ribon and the charging ribon may uniformly be applied to the side surface of the ribon. CONSTITUTION:Thermal printer device is composed of a thermal printing head 3, a thermal ribon 1, ink charging members 6a, 6b etc. The tibon 1 which caused a thermal melting ink to be transferred to the recording paper 2 is rotated and transmitted to such a position as opposing the ink charging members 6a, 6b, but the charging members 6a, 6b are rotated at a circumferential speed differing from a moving speed of the ribon 1 by the driving members 7a, 7b, so that a part of the ribon 1 by the driving members 7a, 7b, so that a part of the thermal melting ink 1 adjacent to the surfaces of the charging members 6a, 6b is transferred to adhere to the surface of the ribon 1, further the ink charging members 6a, 6b are inclined at an angle differing against a moving direction of the ribon 1, so that no scan or wrinkle is formed when the ink is applied to the ribon resulting in a uniform application of the ink.
