【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、床等を清掃する
ために使用する使い捨ての拭き取り用具に関する。
【０００２】この種拭き取り用具として特開平５−２４
５０９０号公報には、基台シートに不織布状の基布を部
分的に接合したものが開示されている。基布には油剤成
分が含浸しているから、床の塵埃をきれいに拭き取るこ
とができる。
【０００３】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】この種拭き取り用具
は、床等を拭いているときに小さな突起に引っ掛かる
と、床を拭くための繊維が抜け落ちることがある。この
用具に短繊維が使用されていると、特に抜け落ち易いこ
とがある。
【０００４】そこで、この発明は、使い捨ての拭き取り
用具において、これを構成する繊維が容易に抜け落ちな
いようにすることを課題にしている。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するため
に、この発明では、熱溶着性シートと該シートに接合し
て一方向に延びる多数の熱溶着性長繊維とからなる使い
捨て拭き取り用具を前提とし、かかる前提において、前
記長繊維がこれと交叉する方向に延び、該長繊維の長手
方向に間欠的に配設された複数の溶着線によって前記シ
ートに接合していることが、この発明の特徴である。

【実施例】添付の図面を参照して、この発明に係る使い
捨て拭き取り用具の詳細を説明すると、以下のとおりで
ある。
【０００７】図１には、使い捨て拭き取り用具１を取り
付けた清掃器具２が斜視図で示してある。器具２は、用
具取り付け基板３と柄４とを有し、基板３の下面に当接
した用具１の側縁部７が基板３の上面に折り重ねられ、
基板３のクリップ８でその上面に固定されている。かか
る器具２は、柄４を持ち、用具１で床を軽くこするよう
にして使用する。
【０００８】図２に斜視図で示した用具１は、図１のそ
れを伸展したものである。図３は、図２のＩＩＩ−ＩＩ
Ｉ線端面図である。
【０００９】図２，３において、用具１は、熱溶着性の
プラスチックフィルムまたは不織布であるシート部１０
と、シート部１０の上下面１０Ａ，１０Ｂにそれぞれ多
数の長繊維２５が剥離不能に接合することで形成された
拭き取り部１２とで構成されている。
【００１０】シート部１０は、図３において左右方向に
位置する側縁部７それぞれが折り重ねられて二重にな
り、所要部位に配設した点状の熱溶着部１５で一体とな
り、剥離することがない。また、かかる側縁部７は、ク
リップ８で留めても容易に破れることがない。
【００１１】拭き取り部１２では、連続フィラメントで
ある長繊維２５が用具１の長辺方向に実質的に平行に並
び、長繊維２５と交叉する方向に延びる溶着線でシート
部１０に接合している。かかる拭き取り部１２は、熱溶
着性長繊維２５の束であるトウを解繊して適宜の幅に広
げ、連続して流れる熱溶着性シートウエブの面上にその
長手方向に沿って連続的に供給し、これらのトウとシー
トとを加熱押圧してトウと交叉する方向に延びる溶着線
を施して接合し、その後トウをシートと共に所要の長さ
で切断することによって得ることができる。切断後、シ
ートウエブはシート部１０となり、トウは拭き取り部１
２となる。
【００１２】これらのシート部１０と拭き取り部１２と
が、シート部１０の左右両端縁部においては長繊維２５
と直交する端縁部溶着線１１で接合し、両端縁部間にお
いては間欠的に配設され、長繊維２５と実質的に斜めに
交叉し、互いに並行する屈曲した溶着線９で接合してい
る。また、拭き取り部１２では、図２の上下（図３の左
右）に位置する両側縁部１６の長繊維２５が点状の溶着
部１７でシート部１０に接合している。この溶着部１７
があると、溶着線９が両側縁部１６にまで十分に延びて
いない場合でも、長繊維２５をシート部１０に固定して
おくことができる。端縁部溶着線１１では、シート部１
０と長繊維２５とが溶融一体化することによって、シー
ト部１０が厚くなり、その端縁部から簡単に裂けること
がないように強度が向上し、また、長繊維２５の切断部
どうしが絡み合って用具１の使用前後の外観を損ねると
いうことがない。しかしながら、端縁部溶着線１１は、
点状の溶着部１７とともに、不可欠なものではなく、用
具１にはそれらがない場合がある。溶着線９は、シート
ウエブとトウとを一体化するための不可欠な溶着線であ
る。トウを加熱押圧して溶着線９を形成する際に、トウ
は、溶着線９の近傍の部位１８も圧縮されて長繊維２５
の密度が相対的に高くなり、部位１８は高い剛性を有す
る。かかる部位１８を有する拭き取り部１２では、部位
１８が残余の部位よりも床の汚れに対して強く当り、そ
れを掻き取るように作用し、用具１の拭き取り効果を高
めることができる。溶着線９が、図示例のように屈曲
し、長繊維２５の殆どに対して斜めに交叉していると、
器具２は、縦、横いずれの方向へ動いても、高剛性の部
位１８で床を拭くことができる。
【００１３】図示例の用具１は、シート部１０の両面１
０Ａ，１０Ｂに拭き取り部１２を有するから、一方の面
が汚れたなら、裏返してもう一方の面を使用する。
【００１４】図４に斜視図で示す用具１の溶着線９は、
図２と異なる態様で長繊維２５と斜めに交叉している。
この溶着線９は、図において右下りの複数の平行な直線
である。
【００１５】図５に斜視図で示す用具１は、図４の溶着
線９に加え、長繊維と斜めに交叉する右上りの複数の平
行な溶着線９を有する。これらの溶着線９は互いに交叉
し、全体として格子模様を呈している。溶着線９を除く
と、この用具１は、図２のそれと同じである。
【００１６】この発明に係る用具１において、シート部
１０には、長繊維２５に熱溶着可能な合成樹脂製不織布
やフィルムを使用することができ、必要なら２０重量％
を限度としてレーヨンやコットン等の非熱溶着性繊維を
混合した不織布を使用することができる。非熱溶着性繊
維は、溶着線９や１１において、互いに溶着したシート
部１０と長繊維２５との中に埋没し、抜脱不能な状態に
固定される。
【００１７】拭き取り部１２を構成する長繊維２５に
は、２〜２０デニールの熱溶着性合成繊維を使用するこ
とが好ましい。かかる繊維２５には、複合繊維や、それ
を熱処理して得られるような捲縮繊維も含まれる。長繊
維２５には、必要に応じて油剤含浸処理や帯電防止処
理、帯電処理、親水化処理等を施しておくことができ
る。

【発明の効果】この発明に係る拭き取り用具では、長繊
維の束がこれと交叉する方向に延び、その長手方向にお
いて間欠的に配設された溶着線によってシート部に接合
しているから、繊維は拭き取り作業中に容易に抜け落ち
ることがない。長繊維の束に対して溶着線が斜めに交叉
している態様では、この用具を前後左右いずれの方向へ
動かしても、溶着線近傍の高剛性の部位で汚れを強く拭
き取ることができる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】熱溶着性シートと該シートに接合して一方
    向に延びる多数の熱溶着性長繊維とからなる使い捨て拭
    き取り用具であって、前記長繊維がこれと交叉する方向
    に延び、該長繊維の長手方向に間欠的に配設された複数
    の溶着線によって前記シートに接合していることを特徴
    とする前記拭き取り用具。
  2. 【請求項２】前記溶着線が、前記長繊維と実質的に斜め
    に交叉し、互いに並行する複数の屈曲線である請求項１
    記載の拭き取り用具。
  3. 【請求項３】前記溶着線が、前記長繊維と斜めに交叉す
    る複数の平行な直線である請求項１記載の拭き取り用
    具。
  4. 【請求項４】前記溶着線が、前記長繊維と斜めに交叉す
    る複数の直線であって、それら直線どうしが互いに交叉
    し、全体として格子模様を呈している請求項３記載の拭
    き取り用具。
  5. 【請求項５】前記熱溶着性シートが、プラスチックフィ
    ルムおよび不織布のいずれかである請求項１記載の拭き
    取り用具。
  6. 【請求項６】前記多数の長繊維が、熱溶着性連続フィラ
    メントのトウを解繊したものである請求項１記載の拭き
    取り用具。
