Claims (10)

  1. 염료 또는 유색안료를 함유하고 산화금속으로 코팅된 운모입자 또는 다른 판상 규산염입자를 기재로한 진주안료에 있어서, 그 안료입자가 운모입자 또는 다른 규산염입자의 산화금속으로 코팅된 다공성 실리카 골격으로 구성되고 거의 또는 전혀 양이온을 함유하지 않고 그리고 그들에 부착된 적어도 한가지 이상의 염료 또는 적어도 한가지 이상의 유색안료를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 소위 흑운모(보다 바람직한 것은 금운모)인 운모입자를 기재로한 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 염색된 안료의 총량으로부터 계산하여 1-50중량%의 염료를 함유하는 염료 함유 진주안료인 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료.
  4. 전항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 산화금속 코팅제가 이산화티타늄 및/또는 이산화지르코늄(이산화티타늄이 바람직함)인 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료.
  5. 전항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 운모입자 또는 다른 규산염입자의 골격위의 산화금속층의 두께가 약0.01-0.5㎛(약 0.1-0.3㎛가 바람직함)인 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료.
  6. 전항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 염료가 아조염료 또는 퀴논염료인 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료.
  7. a) 운모입자 또는 다른 판상규산염입자와 산화금속 코팅제로 산화금속 코팅제가 산에 거의 녹지않거나 불용성인 초기단계 제품을 제조하고,
    b) 이와같이 얻어진 코팅된 운모입자 또는 다른 판상규산염입자를 무기산과 가능한한 약간의 산화제로 걸러내어,
    c) 운모입자 또는 다른 판상규산염입자의 산화금속으로 코팅된 양이온이, 거의 또는 전혀 함유되지 않은 다공성 실리카골격을 적어도 한가지 이상의 염료 또는 적어도 한가지 이상의 유색안료로서 염색하는 것을 특징으로 하는 산화금속으로 코팅된 운모입자 또는 다른 판상규산염입자를 기재로한 염료함유 또는 유색 안료함유 진주안료의 제조방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, c) 단계가 안료 및 하나의 유기염료를 뜨거운물 또는 유기용매속에서 혼합시키고, 물 또는 유기용매를 증발시켜 얻은 생성물을 헹구어 건조시키는 직접 염색법인 것을 특징으로 진주안료의 제조방법.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, c) 단계가 안료 및 염료를 물속에서 각각 슬러리화 시키고 필요에 따라서 염료에 분산제, 유기산, pH조절제 및/또는 기타 첨가제를 첨가시켜 얻은 혼합물을 그 혼합물의 비등점 또는 그 비등접에 근접되게 가열시키고, 일정기간동안 그 온도에서 유지시키고, 그후 본 안료를 걸르고 헹구어 건조시키는 직접 염색법인 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료의 제조방법.
  10. 제7-9항중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 흑운모(금운모가 바람직함)를 사용하고, 산화금속이 이산화티타늄 및/또는 이산화지르코늄(이산화티타늄이 바람직함)이며, 염료는 아조염료 또는 퀴논염료인 것을 특징으로 하는 진주안료의 제조방법.
