활성탄의 제조방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제 1 도는 출발물질인 석탄의 분쇄입자를 평균 입자 크기와 수득된 활성탄의 경도의 관계를 나타내는 그래프이다.
제 2 도는 얄루른 탄(Yallourn coal) 및 세레존 탄(Cerrejon coal)의 분량과 수득된 활성탄의 경도 및 흡착된 요오드의 양 각각의 상호관계를 타나내는 그래프이다.

Claims (10)

  1. (a) 지점결탄을 10㎛ 이하의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 분쇄입자로 분쇄하는 분쇄단계 ; (b) 수득된 분쇄 입자를 과립으로 과립화하는 과립화단계 ; (c) 수득된 과립을 탄화하는 탄화단계 ; (d) 수득된 탄화과립을 활성화하는 단계로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 과립화 단계에서 물 및 점도가 낮고 가열 후에 탄소 잔류물 함량이 낮은 탄화수소 오일로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 결합제를 사용한 활성탄의 제조방법.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 과립화 단계에서 분쇄 입자를 0.5㎜ 이상의 입자 크기 및 높은 구형도를 갖는 구형 과립으로 과립화하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 탄화 단계에서, 과립을 비활성 기체압하에 500∼1000℃의 온도에서 가열함으로써 탄화를 수행하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 활성탄 단계에서 탄화된 과립의 활성화가 온도 800∼1000℃, 활성제의 양 : 탄화된 과립 1㎏당 1∼10㎏의 수증기, 및 활성화 시간 : 1∼10시간인 조건하에 수행되는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  6. (a) 비점결탄, 및 석탄 조성물중의 함량이 40% 이하인 점결탄으로 이루어지는 석탄 조성물을 10㎛ 이하의 평균입자 크기를 갖는 분쇄 입자로 분쇄하는 분쇄단계 ; (b) 수득된 분쇄입자를 과립으로 과립화하는 과립화단계 ; (c) 수득된 과립을 탄화하는 탄화 단계 ; 및 (d) 수득된 탄화 과립을 활성화하는 활성화단계로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서, 과립화 단계에서 물 및 점도가 낮고 가열후에 탄소 잔류물 함량이 낮은 탄화수소오일로 이루어지는 군에서 선택된 결합제를 사용하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  8. 제 6 항에 있어서, 과립화 단계에서 분쇄입자를 0.5㎜ 이사의 입자 크기 및 높은 구형도를 갖는 구형 과립으로 과립화하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  9. 제 6 항에 있어서, 탄화 단계에서, 과립을 비활성 기체압하에 500∼1000℃의 온도에서 가열함으로써 탄화를 수행하는 활성탄의 제조방법.
  10. 제 6 항에 있어서, 활성탄 단계에서 탄화된 과립의 활성화가 온도 800∼1000℃, 활성제의 양 : 탄화된 과립 1㎏당 1∼10㎏의 수증기, 및 활성화 시간 : 1∼10시간인 조건하에 수행되는 활성탄의 제조방법.
