Claims (18)
- 일체형 지지체의 한 쪽 말단으로부터 길이의 한 부위에 첫번째 촉매적 활성 상 및 길이의 다른 부위에 두번째 촉매적 활성상을 함유하고 있음을 특징으로 하는 촉매적 활성 상이 표면에 함침되어 있는 일체형 지지체를 함유하는 형태의 내연 기관의 배기 가스 처리용 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 일체형 지지체는 기질의 표면에 다공성 물질의 통로 층을 함유하는 형태의 딱딱한 일체형 지지체의 기질로 이루어져 있음을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제2항에 있어서, 전술한 다공성 물질은 거대 다공성 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제2항 또는 3항에 있어서, 전술한 다공성 물질은 알루미나를 주성분으로 함을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제1∼4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 첫번째 촉매적 활성 상 및/또는 두번째 상은 백금, 팔라듐, 로듐, 이리듐으로 구성된 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 금속을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제1∼5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 첫번째 촉매적 활성 상 및/또는 두번째 상은 니켈, 철,지르코늄,바라듐,크롬, 망간, 주석, 게르마늄, 코발트, 우라늄, 레늄, 희토류 원소로 구성된 군에서 선택되는 적어도 1종의 금속을 함유함을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제6항에 있어서, 전술한 금속은 촉매 표면의 전체에 함침되어 있음을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 촉매 표면의 한 부위에 전술한 1종 또는 다수의 금속이 존재함을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 제8항에 있어서, 촉매 표면의 서로 다른 금속이 존재하거나 서로 다른 농도의 금속들이 전술한 첫번째 부위에 함침되어 있음을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
- 함침시킬 첫번째 촉매 활성 상을 구성하는 적어도 1종의 원소의 전구 용액의 규정된 부피에 일체형 지지체의 한 쪽 말단을 침지시키고, 상기 지지체를 뒤집어서 지지체의 정해진 길이를 따라 상기 용액을 흐르게 하고, 함침시킬 두번째 촉매적 활성 상을 구성하는 적어도 1종의 원소의 전구 용액에 상기 지지체의 다른 쪽 말단을 침지시키고, 지지체를 다시 뒤집어서 함침된 상기 용액을 흐르게 하고, 함침된 상기 지지체를 소성함으로 연속적으로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 제1∼9항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 촉매의 제조방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 첫번째 활성 상을 구성하는 원소의 전구 용액의 규정된 부피는 전술한 첫번째 촉매적 활성 상으로 함침시킬 일체형 지지체의 부위의 공극 부피와 동일함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제10 또는 11항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 두번째 촉매적 활성 상을 구성하는 원소의 전구 용액의 부피는 전술한 두번째 촉매적 활성 상으로써 함침시킬 일체형 지지체의 다른 부위의 공극 부피와 적어도 동일함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제10∼12항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 불활성인 일체형 기질은 촉매적으로 활성인 첫번째 상 및 두번째 상을 함침시키기 전에 다공성 물질로 피복한 후 건조하고 소성시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제10∼13항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 촉매적 활성 상들을 구성하는 원소들을 동시에 함침시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제10∼13항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 촉매적 활성 상들을 구성하는 원소들은 차례대로 함침시키고, 지지체를 함침 매 후에 건조하고 소성시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제10∼15항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 두개의 촉매적 활성 상들에 공통인 원소들을 단 한번의 과정으로 지지체의 전표면에 균일하게 함침시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1∼9항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 다기능성 촉매임을 특징으로 하는 촉매.
