제1도는 본 발명을 실시하기 위한 장치의 일 실시예도.
Claims (16)
- 하기의 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 제IVA족 금속 카바이드 물질을 포함한 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법. (a) 불활성 분위기하에서 티타늄, 하프늄 및 지르코늄으로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택된 모금속의 융체를 충전재(i) 및 탄소공급물질(ii)을 함유한 침투성물질층에 표면접촉 상태로 설치하는 단계. 상기 탄소공급물질은 상기 모금속 융체와 반응하여 모금속 카바이드를 형성하는 물질이며, 이 탄소 공급물질내에는 화학양론적인 양이하의 탄소가 함유된다. (b) 상기 모금속 융체가 상기 충전재층내로 용침하고, 상기 탄소공급물질과 반응하여 모금속카바이드를 생성하는데 요하는 충분한 시간동안 상기 표면 접촉상태를 유지하는 단계. (c) 적어도 상기 반응이 종료됨으로써 상기 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체를 생성하는데 요하는 충분한 시간동안 용침 및 반응을 계속하는 단계.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 충전재에 티타늄 카바이드, 하프늄 카바이드 또는 지르코늄 카바이드가 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 충전재에 불활성 충전재물질이 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소공급물질이 원소탄소인 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 탄소가 석유코우크스인 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 탄소공급물질이 상기 모금속융체에 의해 환원가능한 금속카바이드인 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 환원가능한 금속카바이드가 몰리브데늄 카바이드, 크로뮴 카바이드, 코발트 카바이드, 철카바이드, 니켈 카바이드, 및 바나듐 카바이드로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 충전재가 섬유, 휘스커, 입자, 분말, 봉, 와이어직물, 내화직물, 망상발포체, 플레이트, 플레이트리트, 구 및 중공구로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 침투성물질층이 소정형상의 예비형체이며, 상기 용침 및 상기 반응은 상기 예비형체의 적어도 일부의 체적을 통해 발생하며, 이에 의해 상기 (c)단계에서 얻어진 자체지지성 세라믹복합체의 형상이 상기 예비형체의 형상과 일치하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 침투성물질층내에는 화학양론적으로 상기 모금속용체의 양이하의 탄소공급물질이 포함되며, 이에 따라 상기침투성 물질층내에 용침된 모금속중 반응에 참여하지 않은 과잉의 모금속은 완성된 자체지지성 세라믹복합체 내에 잔류금속으로서 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 카바이드가 상기 모금속의 카바이드인 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 카바이드가 상기 모금속이 아닌 다른 금속의 카바이드이며, 이에 의해 두종의 금속과 탄소로 구성된 3원 고용체를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 충전재에 불활성충전재물질이 더 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체 제조방법.
- 티타늄, 하프늄 및 지르코늄으로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택된 하나 이상의 금속의 카바이드로 구성된 충전재(a) 및 티타늄, 하프늄 및 지르코늄으로 구성된 그룹으로 부터 선택된 하나의 모금속의 융체가 이 모금속에 대한 화학양론적인 양만큼의 탄소공급물질을 함유한 상기 충전재층내에 용침하여 상기 탄소공급물질과 반응함으로써 반응하지 않은 탄소를 거의 함유하지 않는 상태로, 그리고 상기 충전재를 개재한 상태로 성장한 상기 금속의 카바이드로 구성된 세라믹 기질(b)를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체.
- 제14항에 있어서, 상기 충전재가 상기 세라믹 기질의 금속 카바이드와 다른 금속 카바이드를 포함하며, 이에 따라 상기 세라믹 기질이 3원계 고용체인 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라믹 복합체.
- 제14항에 있어서, 추가의 불활성 충전재를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자체지지성 세라빅 복합체.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
