Claims (15)

  1. 실질적인 강도 및 고표면적을 갖는 모노리드식 촉매지지체를 제조하는데 있어서, (a) (i) 제올라이트, 실리카, 알루미나, 스피넬, 티타니아, 지르코니아 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 최소한 20㎡/g의 표면적을 갖는 다공성 산화물; (ii) 알루미나 전구체, 실리카 전구체, 티타니아 전구체, 지르코니아 전구체 및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택된 다공성 산화물용 영구결합제의 전구체; 및 (iii) 일시 결합제를 실질적으로 균질인 혼합물로 혼합하고; 및 (b) 상기 혼합물을 500°~1000℃의 온도로 가열하여 실질적인 강도 및 실질적인 표면적을 부여함을 특징으로 하는 고-강도 고표면적 모노리드식 촉매지지체의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 혼합공정을 70~97중량부의 다공성 산화물, 3~30중량부의 영구결합제 전구체 및 1~20중량부의 일시결합제를 사용하여 수행함을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 영구결합제 전구체가 티타늄히드레이트 현탁액 형태의 비결정성 수화산화티탄의 현탁액 또는 가수분해된 티타늄 이소프로폭시드의 현탁액임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 티타니아이고; 영구결합제 전구체가 가수분해된 티타늄 이소프로폭시드의 현탁액, 알루미늄 클로로히드레이트 또는 실리콘 수지이며; 및 일시 결합제가 메틸셀룰로스임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 영구결합제 전구체가 지르코늄 히드레이트 현탁액 형태의 비결정성 수화산화 지르코늄의 현탁액 또는 가수분해된 지르코늄 n-프로폭시드의 현탁액임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 지르코니아이고, 영구결합제 전구체가 가수분해된 지르코늄 n-프로폭시드 현탁액이며 및 일시결합제가 메틸셀룰로스임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제2항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 최소한 100m2/g의 표면적을 갖으며, 알루미나, 실리카, 제올라이트 및 스피넬로부터 선택됨을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 영구결합제 전구체가 수화알루미나 현탁액, 알루미늄 클로로히드레이트 또는 가수분해된 알루미늄 이소프로폭시드 현탁액임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 알루미나이고;영구결합제 전구체가 수화알루미나 현탁액, 가수분해된 알루미늄 이소프로폭시드 현탁액 또는 알루미늄 클로로히드레이드이며; 및 일시결합체가 메틸셀룰로스임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  10. 제7항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 스피넬이고; 영구결합제 전구체가 수화알루미나 현탁액, 가수분해된 알루미늄 이소프로폭시드 현탁액 또는 알루미늄 클로로히드레이트이며; 및 일시결합제가 메틸셀룰로스임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  11. 제7항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 실리카이고; 영구결합제 전구체가 실리콘수지, 수화알루미나 현탁액, 가수분해된 알루미늄 이소프로폭시드 현탁액 또는 알루미늄 클로로히드레이트이며; 및 일시결합제가 메틸셀룰로스임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  12. 제7항에 있어서, 다공성 산화물이 제올라이트이고; 영구결합제 전구체가 실리콘수지, 수화알루미나 현탁액, 알루미늄 클로로히드레이트 또는 가수분해된 알루미늄 이소프로폭시드 현탁액이며; 및 일시결합제가 메틸셀룰로스임을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  13. 제4,6,9,10,11 또는 12항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 공정(a)의 혼합물을 벌집형으로 성형시키는 공정을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  14. 70~97중량부의 고표면적 다공성 산화물상 및 상기 다공성 산화물상내에 분산된 3~30중량부의 다공성 산화물 상용 영구결합제를 함유하며, (i) 다공성 산화물상이 알루미나, 실리카, 제올라이트, 스피넬, 티타니아, 지르코니아 또는 이들의 혼합물로 구성되고; 및 (ii) 결합제가 알루미나, 실리카, 티타니아, 지르코니아, 또는 이들의 혼합물이며 약 2000옹스트롬이하의 미소결정크기를 갖음을 특징으로 하는, 최소한 20㎡/g의 표면적 및 최소한 500psi의 곡절강도를 갖는 촉매지지체.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, (i) 알루미나, 실리카, 제올라이트, 스피넬, 티타니아, 지르코니아 또는 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 다공성 산화물상이 최소한 20m2/g의 표면적을 갖으며; (ii) 및 알루미나 전구체, 실리카전구체, 티타니아 전구체, 지르코니아 전구체 또는 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 결합제 전구체를 500~1,000℃ 온도에서 가열하여 결합제를 생성시킴을 특징으로 하는 촉매지지체.
