Claims (8)

  1. 칼라 그래픽 및 칼라 영숫자 텍스트 표시를 위한 컴퓨터 디스플레이 시스템에 있어서, (가) 각각 동일하고 선정된 다른 색으로 된 그래픽 디스플레이 화상을 나타내는 그래픽 픽셀(비트)을 기억하기 위한 제1수단, (나)영숫자 텍스트를 나타내는 텍스트 신호를 단색으로 발생하기 위한 제2수단, (다) 칼라 그래픽 및 칼라 텍스트의 표시를 위해 칼라 CRT상에 개별적으로 또는 서로 혼합되어 표현되도록 상기 제1수단 및 제2수단에 결합되어 그래픽 픽셀 및 텍스트 신호에 응답하여 칼라 혼합신호를 발생하는 제3수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 디스플레이 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3수단이 칼라텍스트를 나타내는 신호들을 기억하는 어떤 선정된 영역, 칼라 그래픽을 나타내는 신호를 기억하는 다른 선정된 영역 및 혼합된 칼라 텍스트 및 그래픽을 나타내는 신호를 기억하는 또 다른 선정된 영역으로 나뉘어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 디스플레이 시스템.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제3수단이 CRT상예 적색을 표시하기 위해 참일때 VIDRED 신호에 응답하고 CRT 상에 녹색을 표시하기 위해 참일때 VIDGRN 신호에 응답하며, CRT상에 청색을 표시하기 위해 참일때 VIDBLU 신호에 응답하는 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 디스플레이 시스템.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, VIDRED, VIDGRN, VIDBLU 신호의 조합이 참이 될 때 다음의 진리표에 따라서 선정된 색이 발생되는 것을 특징으로하는 컴퓨터 디스플레이 시스템
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제3수단에 결합되어 칼라 CRT상에 표시하기 위한 속성신호를 발생하는 제4수단을 아울러 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터 디스플레이 시스템.
  6. 다른 색의 그래픽 디스플레이 화상을 나타내는 제1신호와 ROM에 기억된 단색의 영숫자 텍스트를 나타내는 제2의 신호를 혼합하는 방법에 있어서, (가) 상기 ROM을 세그먼트로 분할하는 단계, (나)선정된 제1세그먼트에 선정된 색의 텍스트를 나타내는 신호를 기억하는 단계, (다)선정된 제2세그먼트에 선정된 색의 그래픽을 나타내는 신호를 기억하는 단계, (라)소정의 색을 갖는 텍스트 또는 그래픽을 기억하는 세그먼트를 선택하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, VIDRED신호는 참일때 적색 그래픽을 나타내는 신호를 선택하고, VIDGRN신호는 참일때 녹색 그래픽을 나타내는 신호를 선택하며, VIDBLU 신호는 참일때 청색 그래픽을 나타내는 신호를 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, VIDRED, VIDGRN, VIDBLU 신호의 선정된 조합이 참일 경우에 다음의 진리표에 따라 선정된 색이 발생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
