Claims (16)
- 양극과 음극이 서로 다른 소재(a, b)의 전류 집전체로 이루어져 있고, 상기 각각의 전류 집전체에는 전극 탭이 형성되어 있으며, 상기 전극 탭을 제외한 일면 또는 양면에 전극 활물질이 도포되어 있는 한 쌍의 전극판들로서, 그 중 소재(a)로 이루어진 전류 집전체의 단부에 소재(b)로 이루어진 금속편을 용접하여 전극 탭을 형성하며, 상기 전류 집전체에 대한 금속편의 용접 후 전극 활물질을 전류 집전체 상에 도포하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전류 집전체에 대한 금속편의 용접은 레이저 용접(Laser Seam Welding) 또는 저항 용접으로 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 소재(b)의 금속편은 소재(a)의 전류 집전체 상에 직접 용접하거나, 또는 전류 집전체로부터 작은 크기로 돌출되어 있는 용접부 상에 용접하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 한 쌍의 전극판들 중, 소재(a)로 이루어진 전극판은 알루미늄 소재의 전류 집전체로 이루어져 있고, 소재(b)로 이루어진 전극판은 구리 소재의 전류 집전체로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 알루미늄 소재의 전류 집전체에는 구리 소재의 금속편을 용접하여 전극 탭(제 1 전극 탭)을 형성하고, 구리 소재의 전류 집전체에는 그로부터 동일한 구리 소재의 전극 탭(제 2 전극 탭)이 연장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 전극 탭과 제 2 전극 탭은 동일한 길이인 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 6 항에 있어서, 알루미늄 소재의 전류 집전체 상에는 제 2 전극 탭의 길이를 기준으로 그것의 1/4 ~ 2/3 길이에 대응하는 용접부가 돌출되어 있고, 상기 돌출 용접부 상에 구리 소재의 금속편을 용접하여, 제 2 전극 탭과 대략 동일한 크기의 제 1 전극 탭을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극판.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 전극판을 제조하는 방법으로서,(i) 소재(a)로 이루어진 긴 시트형의 전류 집전체(A) 상에, 소재(b)의 금속편 다수 개를 각각 용접하여, 전극 탭(제 1 전극 탭)들을 형성하는 단계;(ii) 상기 전류 집전체(A) 중 제 1 전극 탭 부위를 제외하고 그것의 일면 또는 양면에 전극 활물질을 도포하는 단계; 및(iii) 소재(b)로 이루어진 긴 시트형의 전류 집전체(B) 상에, 그로부터 연장된 동일 소재(b)의 전극 탭(제 2 전극 탭)이 형성될 부위를 제외하고, 그것의 일면 또는 양면에 전극 활물질을 도포하는 단계;(iv) 적어도 하나의 전극 탭들을 포함하도록 상기 활물질이 도포된 두 전류 집전체들(A, B)을 소정의 크기로 재단하는 단계;를 포함하는 것으로 구성되어 있는 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 단계(i) 대신에, 소재(a)로 이루어진 긴 시트형의 전류 집전체(A) 상에, 소재(b)의 긴 금속 스트립을 용접하여, 전극 탭(제 1 전극 탭)의 대응 부위를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 다수의 전극판들이 순차적으로 적층되어 있는 구조의 전극조립체를 포함하고, 상기 전극판들로부터 돌출되어 있는 다수의 전극 탭들의 단부에 그와 동일한 소재로 이루어져 있는 전극리드가 연결되어 있는 전지셀.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 전극리드는 초음파 용접에 의해 전극 탭들에 연결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 전극리드는 구리 소재인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체는 금속층과 수지층을 포함하는 라미네이트 시트의 전지케이스에 내장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 13 항에 있어서, 상기 전지케이스에 대해 전극리드가 절연상태로 유지할 수 있도록 전지케이스에 접하는 전극리드의 상면 및 하면에 절연성 필름이 부착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 10 항에 따른 상기 전지셀을 단위전지로서 다수 개 포함되어 있는 고출력 대용량의 중대형 전지모듈.
- 제 15 항에 있어서, 상기 중대형 전지모듈의 고출력을 제공하기 위하여, 그것들 중 적어도 일부는 전지셀의 양극과 음극을 직접 결합시킨 직렬구조로서 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중대형 전지모듈.
