Claims (20)
- 네트워크를 통하여 신호를 송신하는 방법으로서,패킷들에 상기 신호의 일부를 할당하는 단계;인코더가 상기 패킷들의 일부를 프레임들로 인코딩하는 단계;상기 네트워크를 통하여 상기 프레임들을 디코더에 송신하는 단계;상기 디코더에서 하나 이상의 프레임을 캐시하는 단계; 및상기 디코더가 상기 캐시된 프레임을 적어도 부분적으로 이용하여 상기 인코더로부터 송신된 하나 이상의 후속 프레임을 번역하는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 상기 인코더에서 하나 이상의 프레임을 캐시하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 방법은 주기적으로 상기 인코더에서 상기 프레임을 캐시하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 캐시들 사이의 상기 주기는 설정된 간격일 수 있거나 가변 간격일 수 있는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 후속 프레임은 상기 캐시된 인코더 프레임을 적어도 부분적으로 이용하여 상기 인코더에서 생성되는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 동일 프레임의 카피들이 상기 디코더 및 상기 인코더에서 캐시되며 상기 방법은 상기 디코더에서 상기 프레임을 캐시하는 것과 동기하여 상기 인코더에서 상기 프레임을 캐시하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 패킷 손실이 상기 디코더에 의하여 검출되며, 패킷 손실 검출신호가 피드백 채널을 통하여 상기 인코더에 송신되는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 패킷 손실은 그와 연관된 시간을 가지며 상기 패킷 손실 시간은 상기 인코더에 송신되는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 인코더는 상기 패킷 손실 신호를 수신하며 상기 신호의 수신시 상기 인코더에 캐시된 프레임을 이용하여 패킷 손실 프레임을 구성하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 패킷 손실 프레임은 프레임 헤더를 더 포함하며 상기 패킷 손실 프레임은 상기 프레임 헤더에서 특유하게 명명되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인코더는 캐시된 프레임을 주기적으로 상기 디코더에 송신하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 신호는 이미지 신호, 비디오 신호, 오디오 신호, 또는 음성 신호인 방법.
- 컴퓨터 시스템이 제1항의 방법을 수행하도록 하기 위한 컴퓨터 실행가능 명령을 저장한 컴퓨터 판독가능 매체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인코더에서 캐시된 하나 이상의 프레임은 기준 프레임인 방법.
- 손실이 많은 네트워크 내에서 비디오를 스트리밍하는 시스템으로서,데이터 패킷을 프레임으로 인코드하는 인코더;프레임의 일부 이상의 카피를 저장하기 위한 인코더 캐시;프레임의 일부 이상의 카피를 저장하기 위한 디코더 캐시;패킷 손실을 검출하도록 동작 가능하고, 그러한 검출시, 상기 인코더가 상기 인코더 캐시에 저장된 프레임의 일부를 이용하여 후속 SP 캐시 프레임을 인코드하도록 시그널링하는 디코더; 및상기 인코더로부터 상기 디코더로 상기 프레임을 송신하는 송신기를 포함하는 시스템.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 프레임은 헤더를 더 포함하며, 상기 SP 캐시 프레임은 상기 헤더에서 특유하게 명명되는 시스템.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 인코더 캐시 내의 프레임의 일부를 상기 디코더 캐시 내의 프레임의 일부와 동기화시키는 동기화기를 더 포함하는 시스템.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 인코더는 상기 인코더 캐시 내에 저장된 프레임의 일부의 카피를 상기 디코더에 송신하는 시스템.
- 제15항에 있어서, 상기 디코더는 상기 인코더로부터 송신된 하나 이상의 후속 프레임을 디코드하기 위하여 상기 디코더 캐시에 저장된 프레임의 일부를 이용하는 시스템.
- 데이터 패킷을 프레임으로 인코드하는 수단;상기 인코더에서 하나 이상의 프레임을 캐시하는 수단;상기 인코더로부터 디코더로 상기 프레임을 송신하는 수단;상기 디코더에서 상기 프레임을 디코드하는 수단;상기 디코더에서 하나 이상의 프레임을 캐시하는 수단;상기 인코더에서 캐시된 프레임과 상기 디코더에서 캐시된 프레임을 동기화시키는 수단;패킷 손실을 검출하는 수단;패킷 손실이 검출되는 경우 특수 기준 프레임을 생성하기 위하여 상기 인코더에서 캐시된 프레임을 이용하는 수단; 및상기 디코더에서 캐시된 프레임을 이용하여 상기 디코더에서 상기 특수 기준 프레임을 번역하는 수단을 포함하는 비디오 프로세서.
