Claims (11)
- 복수의 게이트라인 및 상기 게이트라인과 수직교차하는 복수의 데이터라인에 의해 정의되는 단위화소;상기 게이트라인 및 데이터라인의 교차영역에 형성되며 상기 단위화소마다 형성되는 한쌍의 스위칭소자;상기 한쌍의 스위칭소자와 각각 연결되는 횡전극을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 횡전극은 서로 평행하여 횡전계를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 횡전극은 투명전극물질로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 횡전극은 서로 평행하게 대응하는 투명전극물질 및 게이트라인 형성물질로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 횡전극은 인접하는 데이터라인으로부터 각각 화상신호를 입력받아 서로 횡전계를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 인접하는 데이터라인으로부터 상기 한쌍을 스위칭소자를 통해 상기 횡전극에 각각 인가되는 데이터전압의 차가 화상정보가 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 복수의 게이트라인 및 상기 게이트라인과 수직교차하는 복수의 데이터라인에 의해 정의되는 단위화소;상기 단위화소마다 형성되는 스위칭소자;상기 스위칭소자와 연결되는 제 1 횡전극과 상기 제 1 횡전극으로부터 연장되어 이웃하는 화소에 형성되는 제 2 횡전극을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 횡전극 및 제 2 횡전극은 서로 일체를 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 횡전극과 이웃하는 단위화소로부터 연장되어 형성되는 제 2 횡전극은 서로 평행을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 횡전극은 제 N번째 데이터라인에 연결되고 제 2 횡전극은 제 N+1 번째 데이터라인과 연결되어 각각 데이터신호를 인가받는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 10항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 횡전극과 제 2 횡전극에 각각 인가되는 데이터전압의 차가 곧 화상정보가 되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
