Claims (8)
- 표시 장치로서,그 주면 상에, 화상을 표시하기 위한 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시 영역을 구비한 기판과;상기 표시 영역을 피복하도록 배치된 제1 박막과, 상기 제1 박막을 부분적으로 피복하는 제2 박막과, 상기 제2 박막을 피복하고 상기 제1 박막보다 큰 패턴으로 형성된 제3 박막을 적층하여 형성된 적층체(stacked layer body)를 포함하고,상기 제3 박막은 상기 제1 박막의 주변부와 접촉하고 상기 제1 박막을 피복하는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 박막 및 상기 제3 박막은 무기 재료로 형성되는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1 박막 및 상기 제3 박막은 동일 재료로 형성되는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 박막은 유기 재료로 형성되는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2 박막은 상기 제1 박막 및 상기 제2 박막의 각각보다 큰 두께를 갖도록 형성되는 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3 박막은 상기 제1 박막의 외주부를 따라서 프레임 형상으로 상기 기판의 주면과 근접하게 배치되는 표시 장치.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제3 박막이 상기 기판의 주면과 근접하게 배치되는 폭은 상기 제1 박막의 두께 이상인 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 표시 영역은, 상기 화소들 각각에 배치된 제1 전극과, 상기 제1 전극에 대향하고 모든 화소들에 공통으로 배치된 제2 전극과, 상기 제1 전극과 상기 제2 전극 사이에 유지된 광 활성층(optical active layer)을 포함하는 표시 장치.
