Claims (5)
- 매트릭스로 배열된 복수의 화소와, 소정의 공통 전위에 대하여 제1 극성과 제2 극성을 가진 복수상의 비디오 신호를 출력하는 신호 처리 회로와, 상호 인접하는 제1 화소와 제2 화소에 대하여, 각각 상기 제1 극성을 가진 비디오 신호와 상기제2 극성을 가진 비디오 신호를 공급하도록 제어하는 드라이버 회로를 구비하고, 상기 복수상의 비디오 신호의 다이내믹 범위가 상기 제1 극성을 가진 비디오 신호 및 상기 제2 극성을 가진 비디오 신호의 다이내믹 범위 각각의 합보다 작은 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 복수상의 비디오 신호의 다이내믹 범위가 제1 극성을 가진 비디오 신호 및 상기 제2 극성을 가진 비디오 신호의 다이내믹 범위와 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,복수상의 비디오 신호가 짝수상의 비디오 신호인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 복수의 화소마다 각각 배치된 복수의 화소 전극과, 상기 복수의 화소마다 각각 배치된 보조 용량 전극과, 각 행의 상기 화소 전극에 대응하여 배치되고, 소정의 주기로 그 전위가 변화하는 제1 및 제2 보조 용량 라인과, 상기 제1 또는 제2 보조 용량 라인 중 어느 하나와 상기 보조 용량 전극이 대향하여 이루어지는 제1 및 제2 보조 용량을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 공통 전위가 직류 전위인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 장치.
