Claims (3)
- 그림에서와 같이 1 차 이상의 고차모드를 지원하는 상하부 클래딩 (2,3) 와 코아층 (1)로 구성되는 직선 광도파로와, 이 광도파로와 각도 α를 가지면서 도파로를 비스듬이 가로지르는 직선전극 (4) 으로 구성된 고차 모드 발생기에서, 0 차의 광 도파모드를 m 차의 광 도파 모드로 결합 시키기 위하여 m 차의 고차 모드의 진행각도를 θm이라 할 때 전극의 각도 α와 고차모드 진행 각도 θm가 α> θm/2의 조건을 만족하는 고차 모드 발생기 구조.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 도파로의 클래드 (2,3) 와 코아 층(1) 의 물질로 실리카 또는 폴리머를 사용하고 전극 (4) 에 전류를 흘림으로서 온도에 따른 굴절율 변화를 이용하여 조절 되는 고차모드 발생기
- 제 1항에 있어서, 도파로 물질로 LINBO3나 전기광학 폴리머인 경우 전극에 인가된 전압에 따른 굴절율 변화를 이용한 고차모드 발생기.
