Abstract

세번째 양태에서, 본 발명은 폴리우레탄 필름을 제조하는데 유용한 수성 폴리우레탄 분산액이다. 분산액은 디이소시아네이트, 하나 이상의 디올 및 모놀을 포함하는 예비중합체 제형으로부터 제조된 비이온성 폴리우레탄 예비중합체를 수중에 분산시킨 생성물을 포함한다. 분산액은, 제1 단계에서 예비중합체가 형성되고 후속적인 단계에서 예비중합체의 수성 분산액이 계면활성제의 존재하에 형성되는 두 개 이상의 단계 공정에서 형성된다. 두 단계는 유기 용매의 실질적인 부재하에 이루어진다.

본 발명의 폴리우레탄 분산액은 비이온성 폴리우레탄 예비중합체로부터 제조한다. 본 발명의 비이온성 예비중합체는 지방족 또는 방향족 디이소시아네이트를 사용하여 제조한다. 바람직하게는, 디이소시아네이트는 MDI, TDI 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 방향족 디이소시아네이트이다. 임의의 통상적으로 구입가능한 이성체 분포를 갖는 TDI를 일반적으로 사용할 수 있다. 가장 통상적으로 구입가능한 TDI는 2,4 이성체 80% 및 2,6 이성체 20%의 이성체 분포를 갖는다. 본 발명의 목적을 위해서, 다른 이성체 분포를 갖는 TDI를 또한 사용할 수 있으나, 이는 종종 상당히 보다 높은 비용이 든다.

본 발명의 예비중합체는 비이온성이다. 본 발명의 필름을 제조하는데 사용되는 예비중합체의 골격내에 어떠한 이온성 그룹도 혼입되거나 부착되어 있지 않다. 본 발명의 분산액을 제조하는데 사용되는 음이온성 계면활성제는 외용 안정화제이고 본 발명의 필름의 중합체 골격으로 혼입되지 않는다.

본 발명의 폴리우레탄 분산액은 예비중합체 제형에 모놀을 포함시킴으로써 제조된다. 바람직하게는, 모놀은 폴리에테르이고, 더욱 바람직하게는 폴리옥시에틸렌 폴리에테르 모놀이다. 모놀의 분자량은 바람직하게는 500 내지 1500, 더욱 바람직하게는 800 내지 1200이다. 바람직하게는, 모놀은 예비중합체 제형에 예비중합체의 전체 중량을 기준으로 하여 0.1 내지 2.0 중량%의 농도로 포함된다. 더욱 바람직하게는, 모놀은 0.2 내지 1.5 중량%, 및 가장 바람직하게는 0.3 내지 0.99 중량%의 농도로 포함된다. 예비중합체 중에 모놀이 너무 많으면, 질산칼슘을 사용하여 응집시킬 수 없는 분산액이 생성된다. 바람직하게는, 모놀은 디올 혼합물과 디이소시아네이트가 예비반응된 후에 가한다.
다수의 필름 적용을 위해, 사용되는 중합체는 상기한 적용에 사용된 보다 통상의 물질과 유사한 물리적 특성을 가질 필요가 있다. 예를 들어, 실험용 장갑용으로, 본 발명의 필름은 5% 미만의 인장 세트를 가질 수 있다. 실험용 장갑과 같은 적용에서 천연 라텍스에 비해 본 발명의 필름이 갖는 하나의 중요한 잇점은, 본 발명의 필름은 장갑을 착용하는 사람에게 알러지 반응을 일으킬 위험이 상당히 적다는 점이다.

·계면활성제는 나트륨 도데실 벤젠 설포네이트이다.
·디아민은 분자량이 230인 폴리옥시프로필렌 디아민이다.
실시예 1
폴리우레탄 예비중합체는 폴리에테르 폴리올 53.16부, 모놀 0.25부 및 저분자량 디올 13.29부를 혼합한 다음, 당해 혼합물을 50℃로 가열하여 제조한다. 이러한 물질을 50℃로 승온시킨 폴리이소시아네이트 33.3부와 혼합한다. 소량의 벤조일 클로라이드를 가하여 폴리올내의 잔류 염기를 중화시킨다. 이어서, 혼합물을 70℃하에 4시간 동안 가열한 다음, NCO 함량을 측정하기 위해 시험한다. NCO 함량은 6.1%이다.
폴리우레탄 분산액은 혼합된 예비중합체 38.7부를 2500rpm에서 작동하는 고전단 혼합기를 사용하여 소량의 물 및 계면활성제 1.3부와 혼합하여 제조한다. 추가의 물을 상 전환이 관찰될 때까지 서서히 가한다. 이어서, 추가의 물을 가하면, 전체 물 함량은 60부가 된다. 분산액을 여과한 다음, 밤새 방치한다.
이어서, 분산액을 80z 항아리내에 분산액 75g을 넣고, 2000rpm하에 30분 이하 동안 교반하여, 안정성에 대해 시험한다. 분산액이 응집되는 시점은 표에 기록되어 있다.

Claims (17)
- 디이소시아네이트, 활성 수소 함유 물질 및 모놀을 포함하는 비이온성 예비중합체 제형을 제조하는 단계 및상기 예비중합체의 수성 분산액을 계면활성제의 존재하에 제조하는 단계를 포함하며, 이러한 두 단계가 모두 유기 용매의 실질적인 부재하에 수행되는 폴리우레탄 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 디이소시아네이트가 (1) 지방족 디이소시아네이트 또는 (2) MDI, TDI 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방향족 디이소시아네이트인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 활성 수소 함유 물질이 (a) 고분자량 디올과 저분자량 디올의 혼합물 또는 (b) 고분자량 디올이고, 당해 활성 수소 함유 물질이 저분자량 디올을 함유하지 않는 경우, 예비중합체가 이작용성 아민 쇄 연장제를 포함하는 수중에 분산되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 모놀이 0.1 내지 2.0 중량%의 양으로 예비중합체에 존재하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 모놀이 폴리에테르인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 모놀의 분자량이 500 내지 1500인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 모놀이 폴리옥시에틸렌 폴리에테르 모놀인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 기질에 분산액을 도포하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 생성되는 필름이 장갑, 콘돔, 혈관성형술 풍선, 의료용 백 또는 카테테르의 형태를 갖는 방법.
- 모놀을 0.1 내지 2.0 중량%로 포함하는 제형으로부터 폴리우레탄 분산액을 제조하는 단계를 포함하는 방법으로 제조된 필름을 포함하는 폴리우레탄 필름.
- 제10항에 있어서, 모놀의 분자량이 500 내지 1500인 폴리우레탄 필름.
- 제10항에 있어서, 모놀이 폴리에테르인 폴리우레탄 필름.
- 제11항에 있어서, 모놀이 폴리옥시에틸렌 폴리에테르 모놀인 폴리우레탄 필름.
- (1) 예비중합체를 형성시키는 제1단계 및 (1) 예비중합체의 수성 분산액을 계면활성제의 존재하에 형성시키는 후속 단계[이들 두 단계는 모두 유기 용매의 실질적인 부재하에 수행된다]를 포함하는 둘 이상의 단계로 형성되는, 디이소시아네이트, 하나 이상의 디올 및 모놀을 포함하는 예비중합체 제형으로부터 제조된 비이온성 폴리우레탄 예비중합체를 수중에 분산시킨 생성물을 포함하는, 폴리우레탄 필름을 제조하는데 유용한 수성 폴리우레탄 분산액.
- 제13항에 있어서, 모놀이 0.1 내지 2.0 중량%의 양으로 존재하는 분산액.
- 제13항에 있어서, 모놀이 폴리에테르인 분산액.
- 제13항에 있어서, 모놀의 분자량이 500 내지 1500인 분산액.
