Claims (36)
- 다음과 같이 이루어지는 폴리에스테르의 처리 방법:(a) 폴리에스테르의 적어도 일부분 이상을 코팅하기에 유효한 양의 알카리 조성물과 폴리에스테르를 혼합하고,(b) 상기 혼합물을 폴리에스테르의 녹는점 이하 온도로 가열하고, 상기 (b) 단계를 적어도 실질적으로 물이 없는 조건 하에서 수행하는, 폴리에스테르의 처리 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르가 입자, 팰릿 및 플레이크로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 형태를 갖는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물을 실질적으로 폴리에스테르 전부를 코팅하기에 유효한 양으로 주입하는 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르가 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트 및 폴리에틸렌 나프탈레이트로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물이 소듐 하이드록사이드, 칼슘 하이드록사이드, 마그네슘 하이드록사이드, 포타슘 하이드록사이드, 리튬 하이드록사이드, 및 그의 혼합물로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계의 온도가 200 내지 245 ℃인 방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 (a) 단계 및 (b) 단계 사이에 추가로 상기 입자를 건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 건조 단계를 130 내지 160 ℃로 수행하는 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계를 80 ppm 이하의 수분을 함유하는 조건 하 에서 수행하는 방법.
- 다음과 같이 이루어지는 오염 물질 및/또는 불순물을 함유하는 폴리에스테르의 회수 방법:(a) 폴리에스테르-함유 물질을 알카리 조성물과 혼합하며, 상기 알카리 조성물을 상기 폴리에스테르-함유 물질내의 폴리에스테르 중 일부분과 반응시키기에 유효한 양으로 사용하고,(b) 상기 혼합물을 상기 폴리에스테르 중 일부를 비누화시키기에는 유효하지만, 폴리에스테르를 녹이기에는 불충분한 온도로 가열하고,(c) 상기 폴리에스테르의 적어도 일부분 이상과 잔여 물질을 분리시키고, 상기 (b) 단계를 적어도 실질적으로 물이 없는 조건 하에서 수행하는, 폴리에스테르의 회수 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계의 조건이 80 ppm 이하의 수분을 함유하는 것인 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계의 대기가 5 ppm 이하의 수분을 함유하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물을 폴리에스테르의 20 중량%까지를 반응시키기에 충분한 양으로 첨가하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물이 상기 폴리에스테르의 약 10%까지와 반응하기에 충분한 양으로 존재하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물이 상기 폴리에스테르의 적어도 3% 이상까지와 반응하기에 충분한 양으로 존재하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물이 소듐 하이드록사이드, 칼슘 하이드록사이드, 마그네슘 하이드록사이드, 포타슘 하이드록사이드, 리튬 하이드록사이드, 및 그의 혼합물로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물이 소듐 하이드록사이드를 함유하는 것인 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 (a) 단계 및 (b) 단계 사이에 추가로 상기 혼합물을 건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 18 항에 있어서, 상기 건조 단계를 130 내지 160 ℃로 수행하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 (b) 단계의 온도가 약 200 내지 500 ℉인 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르가 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트인 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (a) 이전에 다음 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법:(i) 폴리에스테르-함유 물질을 물에 담구고,(ii) 상기 물에서 부유하는 모든 물질을 물속에 가라앉은 폴리에스테르-함유 물질과 분리시키고,(iii) 남은 폴리에스테르-함유 물질을 건조시킴.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 상기 건조 단계가 폴리에스테르-함유 물질을 스핀 건조하는 것으로 이루어지는 방법.
- 제 22 항에 있어서, 상기 건조 단계를 약 160 ℃ 이하의 온도로 수행하는 방법.
- 제 10 항에 있어서, 추가로 다음 단계를 포함하는 방법:(d) 폴리에스테르를 워싱함.
- 제 25 항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (d)가 폴리에스테르의 고전단 워싱으로 이루어지는 방법.
- 제 25 항에 있어서, 추가로 다음 단계를 포함하는 방법:(e) 모든 잔류 알칼리 조성물을 중화하기에 유효한 양으로 한 가지 이상의 산을 상기 폴리에스테르에 주입함.
- 다음과 같이 이루어지는 폴리에스테르의 처리 방법:(a) 폴리에스테르의 적어도 일부분 이상 도포하기에 유효한 양의 알카리 조성물로 상기 폴리에스테르를 코팅하고,(b) 상기 혼합물을 상기 폴리에스테르의 녹는점 이하의 온도로 가열하여 상기 폴리에스테르의 고유점도를 증가시키며, 상기 (b) 단계를 적어도 실질적으로 물이 없는 조건 하에서 수행하는, 폴리에스테르의 처리 방법.
- 제 28 항에 있어서, 상기 (a) 단계 및 (b) 단계 사이에 추가로 상기 혼합물을 건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 다음과 같이 이루어지는 폴리에스테르의 고체-정착화 방법:(a) 한 가지 이상의 폴리에스테르를 함유하는 낱개 입자를 제공하고,(b) 상기 폴리에스테르 입자를 알카리 조성물로 코팅하고,(c) 상기 코팅된 입자를 고체-정착화 유효 온도 및 유효 시간으로 가열하고, 상기 가열 단계를 적어도 실질적으로 물이 없는 조건 하에서 수행하는, 폴리에스테르의 고체-정착화 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 상기 조건이 80 ppm 이하의 수분을 함유하는 것인 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (b) 및 (c) 사이에 추가로 상기 코팅된 입자를 건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 상기 건조 단계를 130 내지 160 ℃로 수행하는 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 상기 폴리에스테르가 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트인 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 상기 알카리 조성물이 소듐 하이드록사이드, 칼슘 하이드록사이드, 마그네슘 하이드록사이드, 포타슘 하이드록사이드, 리튬 하이드록사이드, 및 그의 혼합물로 이루어진 군 중에서 선택된 것인 방법.
- 제 30 항에 있어서, 상기 단계 (c)의 온도가 약 200 내지 245 ℃인 방법.
