Claims (2)
- 제 1 광 디스크를 재생하기 위한 제 l 파장의 광속을 조사하는 제 1 광원과, 제 1 광 디스크보다 높은 기록 밀도를 갖는 제 2 광 디스크를 재생하기 위한 제 1 광 디스크보다 짧은 파장의 광속을 조사하는 제 2 광원과, 상기 제 1과 제 2 파장의 광속을 광 디스크상에 수속시키는 수속 수단과, 제 1 및 제 2 광 디스크로부터의 반사광을 수광하는 수광 수단을 포함한 광 디스크 장치에 있어서,상기 광 디스크의 회전을 정지시킨 상태에서, 제 1 파장의 광속을 광 디스크에 조사하여, 상기 수속 수단을 광 디스크의 조사축 방향으로 이동하였을 때에, 상기 수광 수단으로부터 얻어지는 신호에 근거하여 제 1 광 디스크의 유무를 판별하고,제 1 광 디스크가 존재하지 않는 것으로 판단한 경우에는, 또한 광 디스크의 회전을 정지시킨 상태에서, 제 2 파장의 광속을 광 디스크에 조사하여, 상기 수속 수단을 광 디스크의 조사축 방향으로 이동하였을 때에, 상기 수광 수단으로부터 얻어지는 신호에 근거하여 제 2 광 디스크의 유무를 판별하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크 판별 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,제 1 파장의 광속을 조사하여, 제 1 광 디스크가 존재하지 않는 것으로 판단한 경우에, 수광 수단으로부터 얻어진 신호를 기억해 놓고, 계속해서 제 2 파장의 광속을 조사하고, 수광 수단으로부터 얻어지는 제 2 광 디스크의 존재를 나타내는 신호를 기억하도록 하며, 기억한 2개의 신호의 값을 비교하는 것에 의해, 제 1 광 디스크의 유무를 재차 판단하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 디스크 판별 방법.
