Abstract
Description
도 1은 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 물질의 오존 분해 단계를 통해 개열된(cleaved) 알킬 에스테르를 생성시키고, 상기 알킬 에스테르의 에스테르 교환 반응에 의해 에스테르 알코올을 생성시키는 에스테르 알코올의 일반적 제조 과정을 도시하는 개략적인 블록선도이다.
도 2는 본 발명의 특정 측면을 도시하는 계통도이다. 특히 상기 반응 단계는 1-부탄올(물과 공비혼합된 모노알코올)의 존재 하에, 일반화된 탄소-탄소 이중 결합(예를 들어, 식물성 오일)의 2 단계 오존 분해에 포함된다. 또한 제2 몰의 오존 첨가 전 환류 단계의 수행이 제시된다.
도 3은 1-부탄올의 존재 하에서, 오존 분해 및 에스테르화 단계 후, 폴리올(글리세린)의 존재 하에서, 에스테르 폴리올과 부틸 에스테르의 에스테르 교환 반응 단계시에 팜(palm)-기반 공급 원료 유래 주요 지방산으로부터 생성되는 부틸 에스테르를 도시하는 계통도이다. 특정 실시예에서, 팜-기반 공급 원료는 비분별된 팜 오일의 지방산 조성이 올레산(41 %), 리놀레산(10%), 팔미트산(42%), 스테아르산(4%) 및 다른 지방산을 포함하는 비분별된 팜 오일일 수 있다.
도 4는 개열된 알킬 에스테르(또는 오존 에스테르)의 혼합물로 물과 공비혼합된 지방산 모노알코올의 존재 하에, 오존 분해 단계 후, 오존 에스테르의 혼합물의 증류에 의한 임의의 분별 단계 및 폴리올(예를 들어, 글리세린)의 존재 하에, 에스테르 교환 반응를 통한, 트리글리세리드(예를 들어, 팜 오일) 및/또는 팜 지방산 증류물(PFAD)로부터 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 과정을 도시하는 흐름도이다.
도 5는 지방산 알킬 에스테르를 생성시키는 단계로서, 모노알코올과 지방산/트리글리세리드의 에스테르화/에스테르 교환 반응 단계, 이어서 증류에 의한 임의의 분별 과정 후, 개열된 오존 에스테르의 혼합물로 물과 공비혼합된 모노 알코올의 존재 하에, 임의로 분별된 지방산 알킬 에스테르의 오존 분해 및 이어서 폴리올(예를 들어, 글리세린)의 존재 하에, 에스테르 교환 반응에 의한 트리글리세리드(예를 들어, 팜 오일) 및/또는 PFAD로부터 생성물 에스테르 알코올, 특히, 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 과정을 도시하는 흐름도이다. 임의로, 지방산 알킬 에스테르가 이미 분별되지 않은 경우, 글리세린과의 에스테르 교환 반응에 앞서 증류에 의한 분별의 다른 단계를 수행한다.
Claims (63)
- 적어도 하나의 에스테르의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질을 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올 및 오존과 반응시켜, 적어도 하나의 에스테르를 생성시키는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 오존은 적어도 하나의 제1 몰의 오존 및 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존을 포함하고, 상기 방법은
(a) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계; 또는
(b) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 용매의 존재 하에, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계
를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 용매는 에틸 아세테이트, 메틸 아세테이트, 에틸 프로피오네이트, 메틸 프로피오네이트, 에틸 부티레이트, 메틸 부티레이트, 에틸 이소부티레이트, 부틸 아세테이트, 부틸 부티레이트, 이소부틸 이소부티레이트 또는 그의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올이 적어도 4 개의 탄소 원자를 갖는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올을 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올이 1-부탄올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-펜탄올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-헥산올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-헵탄올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-옥탄올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-노난올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-데칸올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-운데칸올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-도데칸올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-트리데칸올 또는 그의 이성질체, 1-테트라데칸올 또는 그의 이성질체, 세틸 알코올 또는 그의 이성질체, 또는 스테아릴 알코올 또는 그의 이성질체를 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올이 공비혼합 조성물을 생성하고, 상기 공비혼합 조성물이 4 내지 90 중량% 물의 범위의 물 함량을 갖는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 물질이 오존 분해 촉매의 존재 하에 반응하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 물질이 식물성 오일 및/또는 동물성 지방을 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 물질이 지방산을 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 물질이 지방산 에스테르를 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 에스테르가 적어도 하나의 알킬 에스테르이고, 상기 적어도 하나의 알킬 에스테르가 적어도 하나의 일차 폴리올의 존재 하에 에스테르 교환 반응하여 적어도 하나의 에스테르 알코올을 생성시키는 것인, 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 일차 폴리올은 글리세린, 트리메틸올프로판, 펜타에리트리톨, 1,2-프로필렌 글리콜, 1,3-프로필렌 글리콜, 2-메틸-1,3-프로판디올, 1,4-부탄디올, 에틸렌 글리콜, 글루시톨 프럭토오스, 글루코오스, 스쿠로오스, 알도오스, 케토오스, 알디톨, 디사카라이드, 또는 그의 조합물로부터 선택되는 것인, 방법.
- 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질을 가수 분해시켜, 다수의 지방산을 생성시키는 단계;
물과 공비혼합되는 모노알코올의 존재 하에, 상기 다수의 지방산과 오존을 반응시켜, 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물을 생성시키는 단계; 및
일차 폴리올과의 에스테르 교환 반응에 의해 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물을 생성물 에스테르 폴리올로 전환시키는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 오존은 적어도 하나의 제1 몰의 오존 및 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존을 포함하고, 상기 방법은
(a) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계; 또는
(b) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 용매의 존재 하에, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계
를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물의 에스테르 교환 반응에 앞서 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물의 증류에 의한 분별 과정을 수행하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물이 오존 에스테르이고, 상기 방법이 오존 에스테르의 혼합물의 에스테르 교환 반응에 앞서 오존 에스테르의 혼합물의 증류에 의한 분별 과정을 수행하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질이 트리글리세리드인, 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올이 1-헥산올 또는 1-부탄올인, 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법.
- 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질 및 다수의 지방산을 물과 공비혼합되는 모노알코올 및 오존과 반응시켜, 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물을 생성시키는 단계; 및
일차 폴리올과의 에스테르 교환 반응에 의해 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물을 생성물 에스테르 폴리올로 전환시키는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 오존은 적어도 하나의 제1 몰의 오존 및 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존을 포함하고, 상기 방법은
(a) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계; 또는
(b) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 용매의 존재 하에, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계
를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 개열된 알킬 에스테르의 혼합물의 에스테르 교환 반응에 앞서 개열된 알킬에스테르의 혼합물을 증류에 의해 분별하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질이 트리글리세리드인, 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법.
- 생성물 에스테르 폴리올의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
모노알코올의 존재 하에, 적어도 하나의 팜 지방산 증류물(PFAD)의 지방산을 반응시켜, 적어도 하나의 지방산 알킬 에스테르를 생성시키는 단계;
물과 공비혼합되는 모노알코올의 존재 하에, 적어도 하나의 지방산 알킬 에스테르를 오존과 반응시켜, 적어도 하나의 알킬 에스테르를 생성시키는 단계; 및
일차 폴리올과의 에스테르 교환 반응에 의해 적어도 하나의 알킬 에스테르를 생성물 에스테르 폴리올로 전환시키는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 오존은 적어도 하나의 제1 몰의 오존 및 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존을 포함하고, 상기 방법은
(a) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계; 또는
(b) 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존의 첨가에 앞서, 물과 공비혼합된 적어도 하나의 용매의 존재 하에, 공비혼합 증류에 의한 환류 단계 및 물의 제거 단계
를 추가로 포함하는 것인, 방법.
- 적어도 하나의 에스테르의 제조 방법으로서, 상기 방법은
적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질을 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올 및 적어도 하나의 제1 몰의 오존과 반응시켜, 반응 혼합물을 생성시키는 단계;
제1 몰의 오존이 반응한 후에, 상기 반응 혼합물을 환류시켜서, 상기 반응 혼합물로부터 물을 제거하는 단계;
상기 반응 혼합물을 적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존과 반응시키는 단계; 및
적어도 하나의 제2 몰의 오존이 반응한 후, 상기 반응 혼합물을 환류시키는 단계를 포함하는, 적어도 하나의 에스테르의 제조 방법.
- 제21항에 있어서, 상기 적어도 하나의 탄소-탄소 이중 결합을 갖는 적어도 하나의 물질이 분별된 팜 오일 지방 증류물이고, 상기 물과 공비혼합되는 적어도 하나의 모노알코올이 1-부탄올인, 방법.
