Claims (7)
- 환형 하우징(5) 내부에 장착된 환형 개질 촉매 및 상기 환형 개질 촉매와 직접 유체 연결되는 연료 공급 수단(6)을 구비하는 배기 가스 매니폴드(2)와,
상기 환형 개질 촉매와 직접 유체 연결되는 개질 연료 생성물용 유출구(10, 11)와,
상기 연료 공급 수단으로부터의 연료와 혼합되고 상기 환형 개질 촉매를 관통하도록 가솔린 엔진 배기 가스의 일부가 상기 환형 개질 촉매에 유입되는 것을 허용하는 수단(5a)을 구비하고,
상기 환형 하우징은 고온의 엔진 배기 가스가 상기 환형 하우징의 중앙 주위에서 그리고 상기 환형 하우징의 중앙을 관통하여 유동할 수 있도록 배치되어서, 열이 상기 배기 가스로부터 상기 환형 하우징 내의 상기 환형 개질 촉매로 전달되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린 엔진용 배기 가스 처리 시스템. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 환형 개질 촉매는 금속 관류형 촉매 지지체 상에 유지되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린 엔진용 배기 가스 처리 시스템. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
개질 연료 생성물을 상기 유출구로부터 상기 엔진의 흡기 매니폴드로 공급하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린 엔진용 배기 가스 처리 시스템. - 제 3 항에 있어서,
상기 엔진은 배기 가스 재순환(EGR) 장치를 구비하고, 개질 연료 생성물을 공급하는 수단은 상기 EGR 장치에 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린 엔진용 배기 가스 처리 시스템. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
배기 가스 및 연료의 환형 개질 촉매를 통과하는 유동을 보조하기 위하여 흡기 매니폴드 진공을 이용하는 수단이 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린 엔진용 배기 가스 처리 시스템. - 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 연료 공급 수단은 상기 엔진의 전자적 엔진 관리 유닛에 의해 제어되는 연료 분사기인 것을 특징으로 하는 가솔린 엔진용 배기 가스 처리 시스템. - 삭제
