Abstract
[과제] 안티몬이나 비소를 함유하지 않고 우수한 안정성, 특히 내열성, 내광성, 내습열성을 갖는 근적외선 흡수성 화합물, 또한 그의 근적외선 흡수 화합물을 사용하여 제조한 내광성, 내열성 등의 내성이 우수한 근적외선 흡수 필터, 광학 필터, 광기록 매체를 제공한다.
[해결수단] 하기 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물, 및 이것을 사용하여 얻은 근적외선 흡수 필터가 기재되며, 특히 이 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 점착층을 투명 지지체 상에 갖는 근적외선 흡수 필터 및 이것을 사용한 광학 필터도 기재되어 있다.
식 중에서, R1 ~ R8 은 각각 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 치환기를 가질 수 있는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기를 나타내고, R9 ~ R11 은 각각 독립적으로 할로겐 원자를 가질 수 있는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기를 나타낸다. 또한 고리 A 및 B는 독립적으로 치환기를 가질 수 있다.

Description
본 발명은 근적외선 영역에 흡수를 갖는 화합물 및 그의 용도에 관한 것이다. 특히 유해 물질이 아니고 내열성, 내광성 및 용해성 등이 우수한 디이모늄 화합물 및 이것을 사용한 근적외선 흡수 필터, 자세하게는 광학 필터 및 광정보기록매체에 관한 것이다.
근적외선 흡수재로서의 디이모늄 화합물은 널리 알려져 있고(예컨대 특허문헌 1~3 참조), 근적외선 흡수 필터, 단열 필름, 선글래스 등에 널리 이용되고 있다. 그러나, 이들 화합물 중에서, 대이온이 육플루오르화 안티몬산 이온, 육플루오르화 비소 이온 등인 것이 비교적 내열성이 우수한 이유에서 이용되며, 그 중에서도 육플루오르화 안티몬산 이온을 대이온으로 하는 화합물이 널리 사용되고 있었다. 그러나, 안티몬을 포함하는 화합물은 유해물질에 해당되는 때문에 중금속 등의 사용이 규제를 받는 산업분야, 특히 전기재료 분야에서는 이들 금속을 포함하지 않는 화합물의 개발이 요망되고 있었다. 이것을 해결하기 위한 수단으로서 과염소산 이온, 육플루오르화 인산 이온, 붕소플루오르화 이온 등을 대이온으로 하여 사용하는 방법이 있지만, 내열성 및 내습열성을 고려하면 이들의 대이온으로는 불충분하다. 또한 나프탈렌 디술폰산 등의 유기 대이온을 사용한 화합물도 고려되고 있지 만(예컨대 특허문헌 2 참조), 몰흡광계수가 낮고 화합물 자체가 녹색을 띄고 있기 때문에 실용상 사용가능한 분야가 제한된다. 또한 트리플루오로메탄술폰산 이온, 비스(트리플루오로메탄)술폰산 이미드 등을 사용한 것도 알려져 있지만(예컨대 특허문헌 1, 4, 5 참조), 이들도 충분한 내열성과 내습열성을 가지고 있다고는 말할 수 없어, 더 우수한 화합물의 개발이 요구되고 있었다.
그런데 근적외선은 전기기기류를 원격조작할 때의 빔으로서 사용되기 때문에 근적외선을 방출하는 기기류는 주변에 설치되어 있는 전기기기류를 오작동시킬 우려가 있고, 이와 같은 기기류의 전면에는 근적외선을 차폐하는 기능을 갖는 필터를 설치할 필요가 있다.
전기기기류 중에서 근년 대형 텔레비젼 등에 흔히 사용되게 된 PDP (플라즈마 디스플레이 패널)의 원리는 2매의 판상 글래스로 협지된 셀에 밀봉된 희 가스(네온, 크세논 등)에 전압을 걸고, 그때 생기는 자외선을 셀 벽면에 도포된 발광체에 닿게하는 것에 의해 화상에 필요한 가시광선을 발생시키는 것이지만, 가시광선과 동시에 근적외선, 인체에 유해한 전자파, 네온 가스에 기인하고 적색광의 순도를 낮추는 오렌지색 광선(이하, 네온광이라 칭함) 등의 유해한 전자파도 함께 방출되기 때문에 PDP에서는 유익한 가시광선을 투과시키지만 근적외선을 필두로하는 유해한 전자파는 차단할 필요가 있고, 이를 위한 광학 필터가 필요로 하게 된다.
광학 필터에 사용되는 근적외선 흡수 필터는 근적외선을 흡수하는 화합물(근적외선 흡수 화합물)을 투명 지지체의 표면이나 인체에 유해한 전자파를 차폐하는 필름(이하, 전자파 차폐 필름이라 칭한다) 등의 기능성 필름의 표면에 고분자 수지 를 바인더로서 피복하여 제조된다. 이와 같은 용도에서 근적외선 흡수 화합물로서는 많은 종류가 있지만, 근적외선에 대한 흡수파장역이 넓은 이유에서 디이모늄 화합물 또는 이것과 다른 근적외선 흡수 화합물이 조합되어 사용되는 경우가 많다.
그러나, 종래의 디이모늄 화합물에는 전술한 바와 같은 유해성에 관해서 난점이 있을 뿐만 아니라 이들 화합물을 수지 필름 등에 수지를 바인더로서 피복하는 등에 의해 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻은 경우, 디이모늄 화합물이 일반적으로 내열 안정성이나 내습열 안정성이 불충분한 점에서 안정성에 관한 문제가 지적되어 있다.
디이모늄 화합물의 안정화 기술로서는 특허문헌 6에 고분자 수지막층에 잔존하는 용매량을 일정 비율 이하로 제어한 상태에서 디이모늄 화합물을 함유시키는 것에 의해 안정화될 수 있는 것이 개시되어 있지만, 잔존 용매량을 제어하는 수고가 필요하고, 보다 일반적인 피복 방법, 건조 방법으로 높은 내열성, 내습열성을 얻을 수 있는 디이모늄 화합물이 요망되고 있었다. 특허문헌 7에는 비스(플루오로알킬술포닐)이미드 음이온 또는 트리스(플루오로알킬술포닐)카르보 음이온을 갖는 디이모늄 화합물이 투명 고분자 수지의 피복층에 함유된 근적외선 흡수능을 갖는 광학 필터가 개시되며, 특히 비스(플루오로알킬술포닐)이미드 음이온을 갖는 디이모늄 화합물에 관해서는 구체적인 화합물 예에 의해 내열성, 내습열성이 양호한 것이 개시되어 있다. 그러나 트리스(플루오로알킬술포닐)카르보 음이온을 갖는 디이모늄 화합물에 관해서는 그의 구체적인 화합물명, 제법 또는 물성 또는 사용예에 관한 기술은 보이지 않는다. 또한 근적외선 흡수 화합물을 수지 필름 상에 유지하 는 방법으로서 고분자 수지막을 접착하는 점착층 중에 함유시키는 방법이 있고, 이 방법으로는 광학 필터를 구성하는 반사방지 필름이나 전자파 차폐 필름 등의 기능성 필름의 점착층에 근적외선 흡수 화합물을 함유시킬 수 없기 때문에, 근적외선 흡수 화합물을 함유하는 층을 별도 설치하는 방법에 비하여 도포 공정을 1개 공정 생략할 수 있기 때문에 비용 메리트 등이 크지만, 고분자 수지막 중 또는 코팅층에 함유시키는 경우에 비하여 한층 내열성, 내습열성이 열등하게 되기 때문에 기술적 장애가 높은 것으로 간주되어 왔다.

본 발명은 상술한 바와 같은 상황을 감안하여 실시된 것이고, 본 발명의 목적은 안티몬과 같은 중금속을 함유하지 않고, 우수한 안정성, 특히 내열성, 내광성, 내습열성을 갖는 근적외선 흡수 화합물, 근적외선 흡수 필터(특히 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널용)을 제공하고, 또한 내후성 등이 우수한 광기록매체 및 수지조성물을 제공하는 것에 있다. 또한 본 발명의 다른 목적은 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용한 근적외선 흡수 필터의 특히 바람직한 구체예를 제공하는 것에 있다.
과제를 해결하기 위한 수단
본 발명자들은 상술한 바와 같은 과제를 해결하기 위하여 열심히 연구한 결과, 특정의 구조를 갖는 디이모늄 화합물이 상기 과제를 모두 해결할 수 있는 것을 발견하고, 본 발명을 완성하기에 이르렀다. 즉, 본 발명은 다음에 관한 것이다:
(1) 하기 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물:

R1 ~ R8 은 각각 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 치환기를 가질 수 있는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기를 나타내고, R9 ~ R11 은 각각 독립적으로 할로겐 원자를 가질 수 있는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기를 나타낸다. 또한 고리 A 및 B는 독립적으로 치환기를 가질 수 있다,
(2) 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물이 하기 화학식(2)로 표시되는 화 합물인 (1)에 기재된 디이모늄 화합물:

(19) (13) 내지 (18) 중 어느 하나에 기재된 근적외선 흡수 필터 및 전자파 차폐층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널용 광학 필터,
(20) (19)에 기재된 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널용 광학 필터를 구비한 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널,
(21) (1) 내지 (11) 중 어느 하나에 기재된 디이모늄 화합물을 기록층에 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광정보 기록매체.
발명의 효과
본 발명의 근적외선 흡수성의 디이모늄 화합물은 안티몬 및 비소 등을 함유하지 않고 유해 물질에 해당되지 않고 몰 흡수계수가 10만 이상으로 높으며, 내열성, 내광성 및 용해성 등이 우수한 화합물이다. 또한 종래의 육플루오르화 인산 이온, 과염소산 이온, 붕소플루오르화 이온을 갖는 디이모늄 화합물에 비하여 특히 내열성, 내습열성이 우수하다. 이와 같은 특징을 가지므로 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물은 근적외선 흡수 필터나 예컨대 단열 필름 및 선글래스와 같은 근적외선을 흡수하기 위한 재료로서 적합할 수 있고, 특히 플라즈마 디스플레이용의 근적외선 흡수 필터용으로 적합하다.
본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용한 근적외선 흡수 필터는 700 내지 1100 nm의 파장의 근적외선을 양호하게 흡수하고, 특히 이것을 투명 지지체 등의 위에 설치되는 점착층에 함유시킨 경우, 우수한 내열성, 내습열성을 나타내고, 근적외선 흡수능의 열화, 층의 변색 및 면질의 열화 등을 유발하지 않고, 이 근적외선 흡수 필터와 다른 기능성 필름과 복합한 PDP용의 광학 필터는 우수한 성능을 나타내고, 상기 과제에 충분히 대응할 수 있는 것이다.
또한 본 발명의 광정보 기록매체는 종래의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 광정보 기록매체에 비하여 내광성을 대폭적으로 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물은 광정보 기록매체 제조시 용해도도 충분하고 가공성도 우수하다. 또한 예컨대 광정보 기록매체의 기록층에 상당하는 유기색소 박막에 이 화합물을 함유시킨 경우, 재기록에서 내구성, 내광안정성을 현저히 향상시킨 광정보 기록매체를 제공할 수 있다.
발명을 실시하기
위한 최선의 형태
본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물은 특정의 디이모늄 양이온 1개와 대이온으로서 특정의 음이온 2개로 구성되는 염이고, 하기 화학식(1)로 표시된다:
화학식(1)에서 R9 ~ R11은 서로 독립적으로 할로겐 원자를 가질 수 있는 지방 족 탄화수소 잔기를 나타낸다. 지방족 탄화수소 잔기로서는 포화 및 불포화 직쇄, 분지쇄 및 환상의 알킬기를 들 수 있고, 탄소수는 1 내지 36이 바람직하고, 또한 바람직하게는 치환기를 가질 수 있는 포화의 직쇄 알킬기이며, 탄소수는 1 내지 20인 것을 들 수 있고, 탄소수 1 내지 4가 가장 바람직하다. 할로겐 원자로서는 플루오르, 염소, 브롬, 요오드 원자가 바람직하고, 더욱 플루오르, 염소, 브롬원자가 바람직하며, 플루오르 원자가 가장 바람직하다. 구체적인 기의 예로서는 메틸기, 트리플루오로메틸기, 디플루오로메틸기, 모노플루오로메틸기, 디클로로메틸기, 모노클로로메틸기, 디브로모메틸기, 디플루오로클로로메틸기, 에틸기, 펜타플루오로에틸기, 테트라플루오로에틸기, 트리플로오로에틸기, 트리플루오로클로로에틸기, 디플루오로에틸기, 모노플루오로에틸기, 트리플루오로요오도에틸기, 프로필기, 헵타플루오로프로필기, 헥사플루오로프로필기, 펜타플루오로프로필기, 테트라플루오로프로필기, 트리플루오로프로필기, 디플루오로프로필기, 모노플루오로프로필기, 퍼플루오로부틸기, 퍼플루오로헥실기, 퍼플루오로옥틸기, 퍼플루오로옥틸에틸기 등의 포화 직쇄 알킬기, 아릴기, 테트라플루오로아릴기, 트리플루오로비닐기, 퍼플루오로부틸비닐기 등의 불포화 알킬기, 이소-프로필기, 펜타플루오로이소프로필기, 헵타플루오로이소프로필기, 퍼플루오로-3-메틸부틸기, 퍼플루오로-3-메틸헥실기 등의 분지쇄의 알킬기, 시클로헥실 기 등의 환상의 알킬기 등을 들 수 있고, R9 ~ R11가 전부 동일한 것이 바람직하다. 또한 R9 와 R10 또는 R9 와 R11 또는 R10 와 R11 전부가 결합되어 환상의 알킬기를 형성하여도 좋다.
R9 ~ R11에 관해서는 이들 전부가 플루오로원자를 갖는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기인 것이 바람직하고, 그의 구체예로서는 트리플루오로메틸기, 디플루오로메틸기, 모노플루오로메틸기, 펜타플루오로에틸기, 테트라플루오로에틸기, 트리플루오로에틸기, 디플루오로에틸기, 헵타플루오로프로필기, 헥사플루오로프로필기, 펜타플루오로프로필기, 테트라플루오로프로필기, 트리플루오로프로필기, 퍼플루오로부틸기 등을 들 수 있고, 바람직하게는 트리플루오로메틸기, 디플루오로메틸기, 펜타플루오로에틸기, 트리플루오로에틸기, 헵타플루오로프로필기, 테트라플루오로프로필기, 퍼플루오로부틸기이고, 더욱 바람직하게는 트리플루오로메틸기이다. 상기 각 기에서 특별한 한정이 없는 한 알킬 부분은 직쇄이다.
화학식(1)에서 고리 A 및 B에 각각 1-위치, 4-위치 이외에 1 내지 4개의 치환기를 가질 수 있다. 결합할 수 있는 치환기로서는 예컨대 할로겐 원자, 히드록실 기, 저급 알콕시기, 시아노기, 저급 알킬기를 들 수 있다. 할로겐 원자로서는 예컨대 플루오르 원자, 염소 원자, 브롬 원자 및 요오드 원자 등을 들 수 있다. 저급 알콕시기로서는 예컨대 메톡시기, 에톡시기 등의 C1~C5의 알콕시기를 들 수 있고, 저급 알킬기로서는 예컨대 메틸기, 에틸 기등의 C1~C5의 알킬기를 들 수 있다. 고리 A 및 B가 모두 1-위치, 4-위치 이외에 치환기를 갖지 않든가 또는 할로겐 원자(특히 염소 원자, 브롬 원자, 플루오르 원자), 메틸 기 또는 시아노 기로 치환되어 있는 것이 바람직하다.
B 고리에 치환기를 갖는 경우는 4개의 B 고리가 전부 동일 치환기를 갖는 것, 또는 치환기의 위치가 A 고리에 결합되는 질소원자에 대하여 m-위치인 것이 바람직하다.
R1 ~ R8 은 서로 독립적으로 수소원자 또는 치환기를 가질 수 있는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기를 나타낸다. 지방족 탄화수소 잔기라는 것은 포화 및 불포화의 직쇄, 분지쇄 및 환상의 지방족 탄화수소로부터 수소원자 1개를 제거한 기를 의미한다. 탄소수로서는 1 내지 36, 바람직하게는 탄소수가 1 내지 20인 것을 들 수 있다.
치환기를 갖지 않는 포화 지방족 탄화수소 잔기 또는 불포화 지방족 탄화수소 잔기의 구체예로서는 메틸기, 에틸기, n-프로필기, 이소-프로필기, n-부틸기, 이소-부틸기, s-부틸기, ter-부틸기, n-펜틸기, 이소-펜틸기, ter-펜틸기, 옥틸기, 데실기, 도데실 기, 옥타데실기, 이소-프로필기, 시클로펜틸기, 시클로헥실기, 비닐기, 아릴기, 프로페닐기, 펜티닐기, 부테닐기, 헥세닐기, 헥사디에닐기, 이소-프로페닐기, 이소-헥세닐기, 시클로헥세닐기, 시클로펜타디에닐기, 에티닐기, 프로페닐기, 헥시닐기, 이소-헥시닐기, 시클로헥시닐기 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 중에서, 바람직한 것으로 메틸기, 에틸기, n-프로필기, 이소-프로필기, n-부틸기, 이소-부틸기, sec-부틸기, ter-부틸기, n-펜틸기, 이소-펜틸기, ter-펜틸기, 비닐기, 아릴기, 프로페닐기, 펜티닐 기 등의 C1~C5의 직쇄, 분지쇄의 포화 지방족 탄화수소 잔기 또는 불포화 지방족 탄화수소 잔기를 들 수 있다.
본 발명에 있어서 R1 ~ R8 전부가 직쇄 또는 분지쇄의 알킬기인 것이 바람직 하고, (C2-C5)의 직쇄 또는 분지쇄 알킬기인 것이 더욱 바람직하다. 특히 바람직한 직쇄 또는 분지쇄 알킬기의 구체예로서는 에틸기, n-프로필기, n-부틸기, 이소-부틸기, n-아밀기를 들 수 있다.
치환기를 갖는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기에서 치환기의 예로서는 예컨대 할로겐 원자(예, F, Cl, Br), 히드록시 기, 알콕시 기(예, 메톡시 기, 에톡시 기, 이소부톡시 기 등), 알콕시알콕시 기(예, 메톡시에톡시 기 등), 아릴 기(예, 페닐 기, 나프틸 기 등; 이 아릴 기는 또한 치환기를 가질 수 있다), 아릴옥시 기(예, 페녹시 기 등), 아실옥시 기(예, 아세틸옥시 기, 부틸옥시기, 헥실옥시기, 벤조일옥시기 등; 이 아릴옥시 기는 또한 치환기를 가질 수 있다), 아미노 기, 알킬 치환 아미노 기(예, 메틸아미노 기, 디메틸아미노 기 등), 시아노 기, 니트로 기, 카르복실 기, 카르복시아미드 기, 알콕시카르보닐기(예, 메톡시카르보닐기, 에톡시카르보닐 기 등), 아실기, 아미드기(예, 아세토아미드기 등), 술폰아미드기(예, 메탄술폰아미드기 등), 술포기를 들 수 있다. 이들 치환기 중, 할로겐 원자, 시아노기, 니트로기, 히드록실 기, 카르복실기, 카본아미드기, 알콕시카르보닐기, 아실기, 아릴기 또는 알콕실기가 바람직하다.
치환기를 갖는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기의 구체예로서는 시아노메틸기, 2-시아노에틸기, 3-시아노프로필기, 2-시아노프로필기, 4-시아노부틸기, 3-시아노부틸기, 2-시아노부틸기, 5-시아노펜틸기, 4-시아노펜틸기, 3-시아노펜틸기, 2-시아노펜틸기, 3,4-디시아노부틸기 등의 시아노 치환(C1~C6)알킬기, 메톡시에틸기, 에톡시에틸기, 3-메톡시프로필기, 3-에톡시프로필기, 4-메톡시부틸기, 4-에톡시부틸기, 5- 에톡시펜틸기, 5-메톡시펜틸기 등의 알콕시 치환(C1~C6)알킬기, 트리플루오로메틸기, 모노플루오로메틸기, 펜타플루오로에틸기, 테트라플루오로에틸기, 트리플루오로에틸기, 헵타플루오로프로필기, 퍼플루오로부틸기, 퍼플루오로부틸에틸기, 퍼플루오로헥실기, 퍼플루오로헥실에틸기, 퍼플루오로옥틸기, 퍼플루오로옥틸에틸기 등의 플루오르화(C1~C8)알킬기 등을 들 수 있다.
치환기를 갖는 지방족 탄화수소 잔기의 바람직한 예로서는 시아노 기로 치환된 알킬기를 들 수 있고, R1 ~ R8 전부가 시아노기로 치환된 알킬기인 디이모늄 화합물, 또는 R1 ~ R8 중 적어도 1개는 시아노기로 치환된 알킬기인 디이모늄 화합물을 바람직한 화합물로서 들 수 있다. 여기서 시아노기로 치환된 알킬기의 바람직한 구체예로서는 시아노프로필기를 들 수 있다.
화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물에서 R1 ~ R8 는 각각 독립적으로 존재할 수 있고, 예컨대 1개의 아미노 기에 무치환의 직쇄 알킬기와 시아노 치환 알킬기가 치환된 것, 무치환의 분지쇄 알킬기와 시아노 치환 알킬기가 치환된 것, 무치환의 직쇄 알킬기와 무치환의 분지쇄 알킬기가 치환된 것 등일 수 있다.
본 발명에서 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물 중, 화학식(2)로 표시되는 화합물을 바람직한 화합물로 들 수 있다:
화학식(2)에서, R1 ~ R8 및 R9 ~ R11은 화학식(1)에서와 동일한 의미를 나타낸다.
본 발명의 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물은 예컨대 특허문헌 3에 기재된 방법에 준한 방법으로 얻을 수 있다. 즉, p-페닐렌디아민류와 1-클로로-4-니트로벤젠류를 울만 반응시켜서 얻은 생성물을 환원하는 것에 의해 얻을 수 있는 화학식(3)으로 표시되는 화합물을 유기 용매중, 바람직하게는 디메틸포름아미드(DMF), 디메틸이미다졸리디논(DMI) 또는 N-메틸피롤리돈(NMP) 등의 수용성 극성 용매 중, 30 내지 160℃, 바람직하게는 50 내지 140℃에서 소망하는 R1 ~ R8 에 대하여 할로겐화 화합물(예컨대 R1 ~ R8 가 전부 n-C4H9 일 때는 n-C4H9Br)과 반응시켜 하기 화학식(4)에서 모든 치환기(R1 ~ R8 )가 동일한 화합물을 얻을 수 있다:
화학식(3) 중에서, 고리 A 및 B는 상기 화학식(1)에서와 동일한 의미를 나타낸다.
또한 R1 ~ R8의 전부가 동일 치환기인 화합물 이외의 하기 화학식(4)의 화합물을 합성하는 경우(예컨대 하기 화합물예 번호 19의 화합물의 전구체)에는 먼저 소정 몰수(예컨대 상기 화학식(3) 1몰당 4몰)의 시약(n-C4H9Br)과 반응시켜 R1 ~ R8 중 4개에 n-부틸기를 도입한 후 나머지 치환기(이소-부틸기)를 도입하는데 필요한 몰수(예컨대 상기 화학식(4)의 아민체 1몰당 4몰)의 상응하는 시약(이소-C4H9Br)과 반응시키는 것에 의해 하기 화학식(4)의 화합물을 합성할 수 있다. 예시한 번호 19의 화합물의 제조방법과 동일한 방법에 의해 상기 이외의 임의의 화합물을 얻을 수 있다:
상기에서 합성한 화학식(4)의 화합물을 유기 용매 중, 바람직하게는 DMF, DMI, NMP 등의 수용성 극성 용매 중, 0 내지 100℃, 바람직하게는 5 내지 70℃에서 하기 화학식(5)에 대응하는 산화제(예컨대 은염)을 2당량 첨가하여 산화반응을 실시한다. 또한 상기에서 합성한 화학식(4)의 화합물을 질산은, 과염소산은, 염화제2동 등의 산화제로 산화시킨 후, 그 반응액에 화학식(5)의 음이온 산 또는 알칼리 금속염을 첨가하고 상기 질산은, 과염소산은 등의 광산의 산화제로 산화반응하는 방법에 의해서도 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물을 합성할 수 있다:
이어, 화학식(1)로 표시되는 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물의 구체예를 표 1에 나타낸다. 표 중, R1 ~ R8에 관하여 n-은 "normal"의 약어로 직쇄인 것, 또 i-는 "iso-"의 약어로 분지쇄인 것을 각각 나타내고, cy는 시클로를 의미한다. 고리 A 및 B에 관하여, 1-위치, 4-위치 이외가 무치환인 경우는 "4H"로 표기하고, 치환 위치는 A 고리에 결합되는 질소원자에 대하여 치환 위치이다. 또한 R1 ~ R8에 관하여 R1 ~ R8가 전부 n-부틸기인 경우는 "4(n-C4H9)"라 약기하고, 또 예컨대 1개가 이소-펜틸기이고 나머지가 n-부틸기인 경우, 즉 4조의 치환기의 조합의 1개에 이소-펜틸기가 포함되며, 나머지 3조가 전부 n-부틸기인 경우에는 "3(n-C4H9, n-C4H9), (n-C4H9, i-C4H9)"라 약기한다. 또한 R9 ~ R11 에서, 탄소수 3 이상의 알킬 부분은 모두 직쇄이다.
본 발명의 수지 조성물은 수지 및 본 발명의 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 것이다.
본 발명의 수지 조성물에 있어서, 사용할 수 있는 수지의 구체예로서는 예컨대 폴리에틸렌, 폴리스티렌, 폴리아크릴산, 폴리아크릴산 에스테르, 폴리아세트산 비닐, 폴리아크릴로니트릴, 폴리염화비닐, 폴리플루오르화 비닐 등의 비닐 화합물의 부가중합체, 폴리메타크릴산, 폴리메타크릴산 에스테르, 폴리염화 비닐리덴, 폴리플루오르화 비닐리덴, 폴리시안화 비닐리덴, 플루오르화 비닐리덴/트리플루오로에틸렌 공중합체, 플루오르화 비닐리덴/테트라플루오로에틸렌 공중합체, 시안화 비닐리덴/아세트산 비닐 공중합체 등의 비닐 화합물 또는 플루오르화계 화합물의 공중합체, 폴리트리플루오로에틸렌, 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌, 폴리헥사플루오로프로필렌 등의 플루오르를 함유하는 수지, 나일론 6, 나일론 66 등의 폴리아미드, 폴리이미드, 폴리우레탄, 폴리펩티드, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 등의 폴리에스테르, 폴리카보네이트, 폴리옥시메틸렌 등의 폴리에테르, 에폭시 수지, 폴리비닐알코올, 폴리비닐부티랄 등을 들 수 있다.
본 발명의 수지 조성물을 제조하는 방법 또는 이것을 사용하는 방법으로서는 특히 한정되지 않지만, 예컨대 다음과 같은 그 자체 공지 방법을 채용할 수 있다.
(1) 수지에 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 혼련시키고, 가열 성형하여 수지판 또는 필름을 제조하는 방법,
(2) 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물과 수지 모노머 또는 수지 모노머의 예비중합체를 중합촉매 존재하에서 캐스트 중합하여 수지판 또는 필름을 제조하는 방법,
(3) 본 발명의 수지 조성물을 함유하는 도료를 제조하고, 투명수지판, 투명 필름, 또는 투명 글래스판 등에 코팅하는 방법,
(4) 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물 및 수지(점착재)를 함유시킨 수지 조성물(점착제)를 사용하여 적층 수지판, 적층 수지 필름 또는 적층 글래스판을 제조하는 방법,
(5) 투명 지지체의 표면(투명 지지체가 상기 기능을 갖는 경우, 그 기능을 저해하지 않는 측의 표면)에 점착제를 도포할 때에 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 점착제에 함유시켜서 점착층을 형성시켜 유지시키는 방법.
상기 (1)의 제조 방법에 있어서, 사용하는 수지(기재 수지)에 따라서 가공 온도, 필름화(수지판화) 조건 등이 상이하지만, 통상 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 기재수지의 분체 또는 펠릿에 첨가하고, 150 내지 350℃로 가열, 용해시킨 후, 성형시켜 수지판을 제조하는 방법, 또는 압출기에 의해 필름화(수지판화)하는 방법 등을 들 수 있다. 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물의 첨가량은 제조하는 수지판 또는 필름의 두께, 흡수 강도, 가시광 투과율 등에 따라서 상이하지만, 통상 기재 수지의 총질량에 대한 함유량으로서 0.01 내지 30 질량%, 바람직하게는 0.03 내지 15 질량%이다.
상기 (2)의 방법에 있어서, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물과 수지 모노머 또는 수지 모노머의 예비중합체를 중합 촉매의 존재하에서 형(금형) 내에 주입하고, 반응시켜서 경화시키든가, 또는 금형에 유입시켜 금형내에서 경화 제품으로 될때까지 고화시켜 성형하는 방법을 채용할 수 있다. 많은 수지가 이 방법으로 성형될 수 있지만, 이와 같은 성형 방법을 이용할 수 있는 수지의 구체예로서는 아크릴 수지, 디에틸렌글리콜 비스(아릴카보네이트)수지, 에폭시 수지, 페놀 포름알데히드 수지, 폴리스티렌 수지, 실리콘 수지 등을 들 수 있다. 이들 중에서도 경도, 내열성, 내약품성 등이 우수한 아크릴레이트를 얻을 수 있는 메타크릴산 메틸의 괴상 중합에 의한 캐스팅법이 바람직하다. 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물의 농도는 제조하는 수지판 또는 필름의 두께, 흡수 강도, 가시광 투과율 등에 따라 다르지만, 통상 수지의 총질량에 대한 함유량으로서 0.01 내지 30 질량%, 바람직하게는 0.03 내지 15 질량% 사용된다.
이 방법에서, 중합 촉매로서는 공지의 라디칼 열중합 개시제가 이용될 수 있다. 사용될 수 있는 중합촉매의 구체예로서는 예컨대 벤조일퍼옥시드, p-클로로벤조일퍼옥시드, 디이소프로필퍼옥시카보네이트 등의 과산화물, 아조비스이소부티로니트릴 등의 아조 화합물을 들 수 있다. 그 사용량은 디이모늄 화합물과 수지 단량체 또는 수지 단량체의 예비중합체의 혼합물의 총 질량에 대한 함유량으로서 통상 0.01 내지 5 질량%이다. 열중합에서 가열온도는 통상 40 내지 200℃이고, 중합 시간은 통상 30분 내지 8시간이다. 또한 열중합 이외에 광중합 개시제나 증감제를 첨가하여 광중합하는 방법도 채용할 수 있다.
상기 (3)의 방법에 있어서, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 수지 (바인더) 및 유기 용매에 용해시켜 도료화하는 방법, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 수지의 존재하에서 미립자화하여 분산시켜 수계 도료로 하는 방법이 있다. 이 중 전자의 방법에서는 예컨대 지방족 에스테르 수지, 아크릴계 수지, 멜라민 수지, 우레탄 수지, 방향족 에스테르 수지, 폴리카보네이트 수지, 폴리비닐계 수지, 지방족 폴리올레핀 수지, 방향족 폴리올레핀 수지, 폴리비닐 알코올 수지, 폴리비닐 변성 수지 등, 또는 이들의 공중합 수지를 바인더로 하여 사용할 수 있다. 또한 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 이 방법에 사용하는 경우, 바인더로서 사용하는 수지의 유리 전이 온도(Tg)가 예컨대 70℃와 같은 비교적 낮은 Tg를 갖는 경우에도 디이모늄 화합물의 변성을 유발함없이 내열성, 내습열성이 우수한 코팅층을 형성할 수 있다.
또한 유기 용매로서는 할로겐계, 알코올계, 케톤계, 에스테르계, 지방족 탄화수소계, 방향족 탄화수소계, 에테르계 등의 유기 용매, 또는 이들의 혼합 용매를 사용할 수 있다. 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물의 농도는 제조하는 코팅의 두께, 흡수 강도, 가시광 투과율에 따라서 다르지만, 수지(바인더)의 질량에 대한 함유량으로서 통상 0.1 내지 30 질량%이다.
이와 같이 제조한 도료를 사용하여 투명 수지 필름, 투명 수지판, 투명 글래스 등의 위에 스핀 코터, 바 코터, 롤 코터, 스프레이 등으로 코팅하여 근적외선 흡수 필터 등을 얻을 수 있다.
상기 (4)의 방법에 있어서, 점착재용의 수지로서 실리콘계 수지, 우레탄계 수지, 아크릴계 수지 등의 수지용 접착제, 또는 폴리비닐부티랄계 접착제, 에틸렌-아세트산 비닐계 접착제 등의 적층 글래스용의 공지 투명 접착제가 사용될 수 있다. 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 그 함유량이 0.1 내지 30 질량%로 되도록 첨가한 점착제를 사용하여 투명한 수지판, 수지판과 수지 필름, 수지판과 글래스, 수지 필름, 수지 필름과 글래스, 글래스 등을 접착시켜 필터 등을 제조한다.
상기 (1) 내지 (4)의 방법에 있어서, 혼련, 혼합시 자외선 흡수제, 가소제 등 수지 성형에 사용되는 통상의 첨가제를 첨가할 수 있다.
상기 (5)의 방법에 관하여는 나중에 설명한다.
이와 같이 하여 얻은 본 발명의 수지 조성물은 근적외선을 흡수하기 위한 시트 또는 필름(근적외선 흡수 필터)로서 용도 이외에, 적외선을 컷트할 필요가 있는 필터나 필름, 예컨대 단열 필름, 광학 제품, 선글래스 등에 사용될 수 있다.
이어 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물의 가장 특징적인 용도인 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용한 근적외선 흡수 필터에 관하여 설명한다.
본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 층을 갖고 있으면 좋고, 예컨대 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 수지층을 기재 상에 설치한 것이어도 좋으며, 또한 기재 자체가 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 수지 조성물(또는 그의 경화물)로 이루어진 시트, 필름, 판, 층 등이어도 좋다. 기재로서는 일반적으로 근적외선 흡수 필터에 사용할 수 있는 것이라면 특별히 제한되지 않지만, 통상 상술한 바와 같은 수지제의 기재나 글래스가 사용된다. 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 시트, 필름, 판, 층 등의 두께는 통상 0.1 ㎛내지 10 mm 정도이지만, 목적으로 하는 근저외선의 컷트율에 따라서 적절하게 결정된다. 또한 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물의 함유량도 목적으로 하는 근적외선의 컷트율에 따라서 상술한 바와 같이 적절히 결정된다. 사용하는 기재로서는 판, 필름 등으로 성형, 가공한 경우 가능한 한 투명성이 높은 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 근적외선 흡수 화합물로서 본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물의 1종만을 함유하고 있어도 좋지만, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 2종 이상 병용하는 것, 또한 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물 이외의 근적외선 흡수 화합물을 병용하여 제조하여도 좋다. 예컨대 프탈로시아닌계 화합물. 시아닌계 화합물, 디티올니켈 착물 등의 유기계 화합물이나 금속동 또는 황화동, 산화동 등의 동 화합물, 산화아연을 주성분으로 하는 금속 혼합물, 텅스텐 화합물, 산화 인듐주석(ITO), 안티몬 도핑된 산화주석(ATO) 등의 금속계 화합물 또는 혼합물을 들 수 있다.
또한 근적외선 흡수 필터의 색조를 조정할 목적으로 가시영역에 흡수를 가진 색소(조색용 색소)를 본 발명의 효과를 저해하지 않는 범위로 가할 수 있다. 또한 조색용 색소만을 함유하는 필터를 제조하고, 이어 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 접합시키는 것도 가능하다.
이와 같은 근적외선 흡수 필터는 플라즈마 디스플레이의 전면판에 사용되는 경우에는 가시광의 투과율은 높을 수록 좋고, 적어도 40% 이상, 바람직하게는 50% 이상의 투과율이 필요하다. 근적외선의 컷트 영역은 700 내지 11000 mm 이고, 그 영역의 근적외선의 평균 투과율이 통상 50% 이하, 바람직하게는 30% 이하, 보다 바람직하게는 20% 이하, 특히 바람직하게는 10% 이하이다.
본 발명의 근저외선 흡수 필터는 가시광선 영역에서 매우 높은 투과율을 나타내고, 안티몬이나 비소를 함유하지 않고 환경에 좋고, 근적외 영역은 폭넓게 흡수하는 우수한 근적외선 흡수 필터이다. 또한 종래의 안티몬을 함유하지 않는 과염소산 이온, 헥사플루오로인산 이온, 붕소플루오르화 이온을 함유하는 근적외선 흡수 필터에 비하여 안정성이 우수하다. 또한 근적외선 흡수 필터를 제조할 때에 사용되는 용매에 대한 용해도도 충분하기 때문에 가공성도 우수하다. 특히 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 내열, 내습열, 내광성에 있어서 아주 우수하고 열에 의한 분해 등의 반응을 유발하기 어렵기 때문에 가시부의 착색이 거의 일어나지 않는 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻을 수 있다.
이어 본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용한 근적외선 흡수 필터를 제조하는 방법으로서 상기 (1) 내지 (5) 중 어느 하나의 방법이면 좋지만, (3), (4) 및 (5)의 방법이 바람직하고, 특히 (5)의 방법, 즉 투명 지지체의 표면(투명 지지체가 상기 기능을 갖는 경우는 그 기능을 저해하지 않는 측의 표면)에 점착제를 도포할 때에 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 점착제에 함유시켜서 점착층을 형성시켜 유지시키는 방법이 도포 공정이 적어져서 비용상 이점이 있어 특히 바람직하다.
이하 상기 본 발명의 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물을 점착층에 함유시켜서 제조한 근적외선 흡수 필터에 관하여 상세하게 설명한다.
본 발명에서 사용되는 상기 화학식(1)로 표시되는 디이모늄 화합물은 단독으로 점착층에 함유시켜도 좋지만, 다른 1종 또는 2종 이상의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물 이외의 근적외선 흡수 화합물과 병용하여도 좋고, 병용할 수 있는 다른 근적외선 흡수 화합물의 예로서는 상기 이외에, 본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물 이외의 디이모늄 화합물, 니트로소 화합물 또는 그의 금속염, 시아닌계 화합물, 스쿠알리륨계 화합물, 티올니켈 착물염계 화합물, 프탈로시안계 화합물, 나프탈로시아닌계 화합물, 트리아릴메탄계 화합물, 나프토퀴논계 화합물, 안트라퀴논계 화합물 등의 유기 화합물이나 산화 안티몬 주석, 산화 인듐주석, 육붕소화 텅스텐 등의 희토류 금속의 육붕소화물 등의 무기 화합물 등을 들 수 있다. 물론 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물은 단독 또는 2종 이상의 혼합물 중 어떤 것이어도 좋다. 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물과 다른 근적외선 흡수성 화합물을 병용하는 경우는 본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물이 그 혼합물 중에 40 내지 100 질량% 함유되도록 사용하는 것이 바람직하다.
이어, 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물을 점착층에 함유하는 근적외선 흡수 필터의 제법에 관하여 설명한다.
본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터에 사용되는 지지체는 투명성이 높고, 상처 등이 없으며, 광학 필름으로서 사용될 수 있는 것이라면 특별히 종류나 두께는 한정되지 않지만, 폴리에스테르계(이하, PET라 칭함), 폴리카보네이트계, 트리아세테이트계, 노르보르넨계, 아크릴계, 셀룰로오스계, 폴리올레핀계, 우레탄계 등의 고분자 수지 필름을 그 구체예로서 들 수 있고, 외부로부터의 자외선을 흡수하여 필름 등의 내부 부재 기능의 안정화를 걸기 위한 자이선 흡수물질이 함유되어 있는 투명한 지지체를 사용할 수 있다. 그 표면에는 도포제와의 밀착성을 높이기 위하여 코로나 방전처리, 플라즈마 처리, 글로우 방전 처리, 조면화 처리, 약품 처리나 앵커 코트제나 프라이머 등의 코팅을 실시하여도 좋다. 또한 지지체가 예컨대 반사감소성, 눈부심방지/반사감소성, 대전방지성, 방염성, 네온광 흡수성, 전자파 차폐성, 색조조정 등의 기능을 단독 또는 복수 갖는 필름이나 시트이면 더욱 바람직하고, 이들의 위에 근적외선 흡수능을 갖는 점착층을 설치한 경우는 투명 지지체에 부여되어 있는 기능과 근적외선 흡수성능을 동시에 보유할 수 있는 광학 필터를 얻을 수 있도록 되기 때문에 그와 같은 특성은 제조상 아주 바람직하고 또 우수한 형태의 필터로 된다.
이어 지지체로서 상술한 바와 같은 기능을 가진 지지체(필름)를 사용하는 예에 관하여 설명한다.
먼저, 반사 감소 필름은 PET 등의 투명 지지체의 표면에 저굴절율제를 고분자 수지(바인더) 및 그외의 첨가제와 함께 코팅하여 외부로부터의 광의 반사를 억제하든가, 또는 투명지지체와 저굴절율층과의 사이에 하드 코팅제, 고굴절율층을 도포하고, 각 층에 의한 반사광을 취소하도록 제어하여 시인성을 좋게한 필름이다. 이어 눈부심 감소.반사 감소 필름은 상기 반사감소 필름의 고굴절율층이나 그외의 층에 미세입자를 함유시켜서 외부로부터의 광을 난반사시켜서 시인성을 다시 좋게한 필름으로, Arctop 시리즈(아사히 글래스 제조), Kayacoat ARS 시리즈(니뽕 가야꾸 가부시끼 가이샤 제조), Kayacoat AGRS 시리즈(니뽕 가야꾸 가부시끼 가이샤) 및 ReaLook 시리즈(니뽕 오일 앤드 패츠 제조) 등으로서 시장으로부터 용이하게 입수할 수 있다.
또한 전자파 차폐 필름에는 동 등의 금속이 극세선을 망상과 같은 기하학적 모양으로 투명 지지체에 유지시킨 메쉬 타입과 광투과성을 갖는 범위에서 극박막을 투명 지지체에 유지시킨 박막 타입이 있지만, 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 위하여 메쉬 타입의 투명한 전자파 차폐 필름이 지지체로서 바람직하게 사용된다.
본 발명에 사용되는 그외의 기능성을 갖는 투명한 지지체로서는 네온광 흡수성, 자외선 흡수성, 대전방지성, 방염성, 색조조정 등의 기능을 단복 또는 복수 동시에 유지시킨 필름이 있지만, 이들은 그들 성능을 갖는 화합물을 함유하는 수지 조성물로부터 성형하는 방법 등에 의해 그 자체 공지 방법에 준하여 제조할 수 있다.
점착층의 주요성분인 바인더 수지(이하 점착재로 함)으로서는 본 발명의 디이모늄염 화합물을 균일하게 분산시킬 수 있고 투명 지지체의 표면에 투명하게 밀착될 수 있으며 필터의 기능을 손상하지 않는 것이라면 특별히 한정되지 않지만, 사용할 수 있는 점착재의 예로서는 아크릴계, 폴리에스테르계, 폴리아미드계, 폴리우레탄계, 폴리올레핀계, 폴리카보네이트계, 고무계, 실리콘계 수지 등의 점착재를 들 수 있고, 투명성, 접착성, 내열성 등이 우수한 점에서 아크릴계 수지 점착재가 가장 적합하다. 아크릴계 수지 점착재는 관능기를 갖지 않는 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르나 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르 이외의 다른 단량체 성분을 공중합시킨 것이다. 관능기를 갖는 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르나 아크릴산 알킬에스테르 이외의 다른 단량체 성분의 공중합 비율은 관능기를 갖지 않는 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르 성분 100 질량부당 0.1 내지 20 질량부, 보다 바람직하게는 1 내지 10 질량부이다.
관능기를 갖지 않는 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르로서는 (메타)아크릴산 메틸, (메타)아크릴산 에틸, (메타)아크릴산 프로필, (메타)아크릴산 부틸, (메타)아크릴산 펜틸, (메타)아크릴산 헥실, (메타)아크릴산 헵틸, (메타)아크릴산 옥틸, (메타)아크릴산 노닐, (메타)아크릴산 데실, (메타)아크릴산 운데실 또는 (메타)아크릴산 도데실 등의 알킬기의 탄소수가 1 내지 12인 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르 내지 메타아크릴산 알킬 에스테르를 들 수 있지만, 이들은 필요에 따라서 2종 이상을 병용하여도 좋다.
관능기를 갖는 아크릴산 알킬 에스테르 또는 아크릴산 알킬에스테르 이외의 단량체로서는 후술하는 가교제와의 가교점 등으로서 기능하는 것이 사용될 수 있고, 그 종류에 관해서는 특히 한정되지 않지만 (메타)아크릴산 2-히드록시에틸, (메타)아크릴산 히드록시프로필 등의 히드록시 기 함유 (메타)아크릴산 에스테르계 단량체, N,N-디메틸아미노에틸아크릴레이트, N-ter-부틸아미노에틸아크릴레이트 등의 아미노기 함유 (메타)아크릴산계 단량체, 또는 아크릴산, 말레인산 등을 들 수 있고, 이들은 필요에 따라서 2종 이상을 병용할 수 있다.
점착제는 가교제를 배합하는 것에 의해 상기 아크릴산계 수지 등의 점착재를 가교할 수 있는 조성으로 사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 가교제로서는 상기 단량체의 종류에 따라서 적절하게 사용할 수 있고, 사용될 수 있는 가교제의 예로서는 예컨대 헥사메틸렌디이소시아네이트, 헥사메틸렌디이소시아네이트의 트리메틸올프로판 부가물 등의 지방족 디이소시아네이트, 트릴렌디이소시아네이트 또는 트릴렌디이소시아네이트의 트리메틸올프로판 부가물 등의 방향족 디이소시아네이트와 같은 폴리이소시아네이트 화합물, 헥사메틸렌디아민 또는 트리에틸렌디아민 등의 디아민 화합물, 비스페놀 A. 에피클로로히드린 등의 에폭시 수지계 화합물, 요소 수지계 화합물, 염화 알루미늄, 염화 제이철 또는 황산 알루미늄 등의 금속염 등을 들 수 있고, 그 배합량은 통상 점착재 100 질량부당 통상 0.005 내지 5 질량부, 바람직하게는 0.01 내지 3 질량부 정도이다.
점착력, 응집력이 우수한 것과 함께 폴리머 중에 불포화 결합이 없기 때문에 광이나 산소에 대한 안정성인 높고, 또 모노머의 종류나 분자량의 선택의 자유도가 높은 이유에서 아크릴 수지계 점착재를 사용한 점착제를 사용하는 것이 바람직하다. 점착재는 투명지지체로의 밀착성을 유지시키기 위하여 분자량(중합도)가 높은 것, 즉 주 폴리머의 질량 평균 분자량(Mw)은 60만 내지 200만 정도가 바람직하고, 보다 바람직하게는 80만 내지 180만 정도이다.
플라즈마 디스플레이 패널(PDP)에 있어서는 가압시에 발생하는 Ne 가스 등에 유래하는 파장 550 내지 620 nm의 오렌지색 네온광은 적색광의 색순도를 낮추어 버리기 때문에 디스플레이 전면일수록 컷트할 필요가 있어, 네온광 흡수 화합물을 투명 지지체에 유지시킨 네온광 흡수 필터가 통상 사용되지만, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 점착층에 네온광 흡수능을 갖는 화합물을 함유시키는 것에 의해 근적외선과 네온광을 동시에 흡수할 수 있는 점착층을 얻을 수 있다. 네온광 흡수 화합물로서는 예컨대 테트라아자포르피린계 화합물이 예시되는 아자포르피린계 화합물, 시아닌계 화합물, 스쿠알리륨계 화합물, 아조메틴계 화합물, 크산텐계 화합물, 옥소놀계 화합물, 아조계 화합물 등의 화합물을 들 수 있지만, 점착층에 함유시키는 경우에는 내열성, 내습열성 등의 점에서 테트라아자포르피린계 화합물이 보다 바람직하다.
PDP의 표면으로부터는 인체의 건강에 좋지 않은 것으로 보여지는 전자파도 방출되기 때문에 디스플레이의 전면에 전자파 차폐 필터도 필요하며, 타이프가 상이한 전자파 차폐 필터가 사용되고 있지만, 전자파 차폐 능력이 우수한 이유에서 메쉬 타입의 전자파 차폐 필터가 많이 사용되고 있다. 이 필터는 전술한 바와 같이 동 등의 금속을 투명 지지체에 망상(메쉬) 등의 기학학적 모양을 극세선상으로 유지시킨 것이고, PDP의 전면에 배치되어 유해 전자파를 포획하며, 어쓰(earth)하는 것에 의해 피하고, 시인측에 누출되지 않도록 한 것이지만, 그 제조방법이나 형태에 따라서는 동 등의 금속 메쉬 면이 표면에 공기에 접촉되는 상태로 실시되어 있기 때문에 그 면에 점착층을 실시하기도 하고 다른 기능성 필름에 점착층을 실시하여 그 점착층을 통하여 그 면에 접합하는 것과 동 등의 금속 산화가 주원인으로 되는 점착층의 변색이 생기거나 내구성에 문제가 생길 수가 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해서는,
(1) 미리 접착층에 변색을 방지하기 위한 방청제를 함유시키는 방법,
(2) 점착층의 유기 산의 양을 극소량으로 하는 방법이 유효하다.
또한 메쉬 타입의 전자파 차폐 필름은 동 등의 금속박을 밀착성 좋게 접착시키기 위하여 동박 표면을 조면으로 해 두어 접착제로 투명 지지체에 접합시킨 후, 에칭에 의해 격자선만 남기고 그 이외의 부분을 용해 제거하는 방법 등에 의해 제조되기 때문에, 동박의 조면이 투명 지지체 상의 고화된 접착제 면에 전사되어 필름의 투명성이 결여되는 경우가 있다. 이 때문에 그 위로부터 고분자 수지표면을 처리하여 평활면으로 하여 투명화를 도모하지만, 투명화 처리는 비용 상승의 원인으로 되기 때문에 생략하고 싶은 것이다. 방청제를 함유시킨 점착층은 동 등의 금속 격자면(이하, 메쉬 면으로 표기)이 표면으로 나오는 메쉬 타입의 전자파 차폐 필름, 요컨대 이 투명화 처리되어 있지 않은 전자파 차폐 필름에 적용하는 것이고, 메쉬 면에 이 점착층을 도포하든가 이 점착층이 도포된 기능성 필름을 점착층을 통하여 전자파 차폐 필름의 메쉬 면으로 가압 접합하는 것에 의해 접착제 면의 조면이 해소되어 투명화될 수 있는 것을 알 수 있고, 이와 같은 방법은 보다 합리적인 방법이다. 접착층의 굴절율은 조면 접착제층의 굴절율에 가까운 편이 투명성이 향상되기 때문에 점착제의 처방에도 그와 같은 배려가 필요하다.
상기 (1)의 방법에서 사용하는 방청제로서는 금속의 녹 발생을 방지하는 성능이 있는 것이라면 특별히 제한되지 않지만, 사용할 수 있는 방청제의 구체예로서는 2-아미노피리딘, 2-아미노피리미딘, 2-아미노퀴놀린, 아미노트리아민 또는 아미노트리아졸 및 이들의 치환 유도체, 벤조트리아졸계 화합물, 페닐테트라졸, 2-아미노트리아졸 등을 들 수 있고, 그 중에서도 벤조트리아졸계 화합물이 바람직하고, 취급이 쉬운 면에서 1H-벤조트리아졸이 더욱 바람직하다. 그 사용량은 점착 도포후의 점착층에 대한 함유량으로서 0.01 내지 10 질량%, 바람직하게는 0.05 내지 5 질량%이다.
상기 (2)의 방법에 관하여, 점착재에 사용되는 아크릴산 또는 말레인산 등의 카르복실기 함유 모노머 등의 유기산 물질의 사용량을 극력 억제하거나, 필요에 따라서 정제 공정을 가하는 것에 의해 점착층에서 이들 유기산 단량체의 함유량이 0.5 질량% 이하로 되도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물을 점착제의 주요성분인 점착재, 중합개시제, 가교제, 자외선흡수제, 색조조정용의 색소 및 그외 필요한 첨가제와 함께 메틸에틸케톤(MEK) 등의 용매에 충분하게 용해 또는 분산시켜 점착액제로 하고, 투명 지지체의 표면에 건조 후의 층 두께가 5 내지 100㎛, 바람직하게는 10 내지 50 ㎛로 되도록 도포한다. 그 도포 방법은 특히 제한되지 않지만, 바 코터, 리버스 코터, 콤마 코터 또는 그라비아 코터 등에 의해 도포하며, 건조시켜 점착층을 밀착시키는 방법이나, 이형 필름에 점착제액을 바 코터, 리버스 코터, 컴마 코터, 그라비아 코터 등에 의해 지지체 상에 도포하고, 건조시킨 후, 점착층을 투명 지지체에 전사시키는 방법 등을 들 수 있으며, 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 파장 700 내지 1100 nm의 근적외선의 투과율이 20% 이하, 특히 10% 이하로 되도록 설계하는 것이 바람직하고, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물은 각각에 합쳐진 양을 사용하면 좋으며, 점착층에 대한 함유량으로서 통상 1 내지 20 질량%로 되도록 점착제 중에 함유시키면 좋다.
이어, 본 발명의 광학 필터는 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터, 특히 투명 지지체 상에 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 점착층이 설치되어 있는 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필름을 필수의 구성요소로 하여 이것을 하기한 바와 같은 하기 기능을 갖는 투명 지지체(필름)를 적층시켜 얻을 수 있다. 본 발명의 광학 필터는 미리 투명 글래스판 및 플라스틱판에 접합시켜 PDP의 전면에 부착하여도 좋고 PDP의 전면에 직접 접합시켜 사용하여도 좋다. 전술한 점착층은 글래스, 필름 등에 압착하는 것만으로 충분한 강도를 갖지만, 필요하면 가온하에서 압력을 가하여 접착을 보다 강하게 하는 것도 가능하다.
하기 기능성을 갖는 투명 지지체 예에서 NIR은 근적외선, Ne는 네온광을 각각 나타내고, 괄호로 나타낸 부분은 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 나타내지만, 이들의 구성예로부터 분명한 바와 같이, 반사감소성 투명 지지체와 같은 기능성을 갖는 투명 지지체의 점착층에 본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물 및 네온광 흡수 화합물을 함유시키는 것이 적합하다.

이와 같은 점착층에 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유시킨 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 가시광선 영역에서 매우 높은 투과율을 나타내고, 안티몬이나 비소를 함유하지 않으며 환경에 좋고 근적외선 영역은 폭넓게 흡수하는 우수한 근적외선 흡수 필터이다. 또한 종래의 안티몬을 함유하지 않는 과염소산 이온, 헥사플루오로인산 이온, 붕소플루오르화 이온을 함유하는 근적외선 흡수 필터에 비하여 안정성이 우수하다. 또한 근적외선 흡수 필터를 제조할 때에 사용되는 용매에 대한 용해도도 충분하기 때문에 가공성도 우수하다. 특히 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 내열, 내습열, 내광성에서 매우 우수하며, 열에 의한 분해 등의 반응을 유발하기 어렵기 때문에 가시부의 착색이 거의 일어나지 않는 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻을 수 있다. 이와 같은 특징을 갖고 있는 점에서 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 이들 단독으로 사용할 수 있지만, 특히 플라즈마 디스플레이용의 광학 필터에 적합하다.
다음에 본 발명의 광정보 기록매체에 관하여 설명한다.
본 발명의 광정보 기록 매체는 기판 상에 기록층을 갖는 것이고, 상기 기록층이 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이 기록층은 디이모늄 화합물만으로 구성되어도 좋고 또 바인더 등의 각종 첨가제와 혼합하여 함유되어도 좋다. 이 경우, 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물에 의한 정보가 기록된다.
또한 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물과 이들 이외의 유기 색소를 함유하는 혼합물을, 유기 색소에 의해 정보가 기록되는 광정보 기록매체의 기록층에 함유시키는 것에 의해 각 정보기록매체의 내광성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 이와 같은 광정보기록매체에서 정보의 기록에 제공되는 유기 색소로서는 예컨대 음이온계 색소, 스쿠알리륨계 색소, 인도아닐린계 색소, 프탈로시아닌계 색소, 아조계 색소, 멜로시아닌계 색소, 폴리메틴계 색소, 나프토퀴논계 색소, 피리륨계 색소 등을 들 수 있다. 이와 같은 방법에서 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물은 이들의 유기 색소 1몰에 대하여 통상 0.01 내지 10몰, 바람직하게는 0.03 내지 3몰 사용된다.
본 발명의 광정보 기록매체는 기판 상에 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물 및 필요한 경우 이외의 색소를 함유하는 기록층을 설치하는 것으로 필요에 따라서 반사층, 보호층이 설치된다. 기판으로서는 공지의 것을 임의로 사용할 수 있다. 예컨대 글래스판, 금속판 또는 플라스틱판 또는 필름을 들 수 있고, 이들을 제조하기 위한 플라스틱으로서는 아크릴 수지, 폴리카보네이트 수지, 메타크릴 수지, 폴리술폰 수지, 폴리이미드 수지, 비정질 폴리올레핀 수지, 폴리에스테르 수지, 폴리프로필렌 수지 등을 들 수 있다. 기판의 형상으로서는 디스크상, 카드상, 시트상, 롤러 필름상 등 여러 가지 들 수 있다.
글래스 또는 플라스틱 기판 상에는 기록시의 트랙킹을 용이하게 하기 위하여 안내강(guide groove)를 형성시켜도 좋다. 또한 글래스 또는 플라스틱 기판에는 플라스틱 바인더 또는 무기 산화물, 무기 황화물 등의 하도층(undercoating layer)을 설치하여도 좋고, 하도층은 기판보다 열전도율이 낮은 것이 바람직하다.
본 발명의 광정보기록매체에서 기록층은 예컨대 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물 및 보다 바람직하게는 본 발명의 디이모늄 화합물과 다른 유기 색소를 공지의 유기 용매, 예컨대 테트라플루오로프로판올(TFP), 옥타플루오로펜탄올(OFP), 다이아세톤알코올, 메탄올, 에탄올, 부탄올, 메틸셀로솔브, 에틸셀로솔브, 디클로로에탄, 이소포론, 시클로헥사논 등에 용해되고, 필요에 따라서 바인더를 가하여 그 용액을 스핀 코터, 바 코터, 롤 코터 등으로 기판 상에 도포하는 것에 의해 얻을 수 있다. 그외 방법으로서는 진공증착법, 스퍼터링법, 독터 블레이드법, 캐스트법 또는 기판을 용액 중에 침지시키는 디핑법에 의해서도 얻을 수 있다. 여기서 바인더로서는 아크릴계 수지, 우레탄계 수지, 에폭시계 수지 등을 사용할 수 있다.
기록층의 막 두께는 기록감도나 반사율을 고려하면 바람직하게는 0.01㎛ 내지 5 ㎛, 바람직하게는 0.02 ㎛ 내지 3 ㎛이다.
본 발명의 광정보기록매체에는 필요에 따라 기록층 아래에 하도층을, 또 기록층의 위에 보호층을 설치할 수 있고, 또한 기록층과 보호층 사이에 반사층을 설치할 수 있다. 반사층을 설치하는 경우, 반사층은 금, 은, 동, 알루미늄 등, 바람직하게는 금, 은 또는 알루미늄의 금속으로 구성되며, 이들 금속은 단독으로 사용되어도 좋고 2종 이상의 합금으로 사용하여도 좋다. 이 층은 진공증착법, 스퍼터링법, 이온 플레이팅법 등으로 형성된다. 이와 같은 반사층의 두께는 0.02 내지 2 ㎛이다. 반사층의 위에 설치되는 이와 같은 보호층은 통상 자외선 경화수지를 스핀 코팅법으로 도포한 후 자외선을 조사하고 도막을 경화시켜 형성되는 것이다. 그 외, 에폭시 수지, 아크릴 수지, 실리콘 수지, 우레탄 수지 등도 보호막의 형성 재료로 사용될 수 있다. 이와 같은 보호막의 두께는 통상 0.01 내지 100 ㎛ 이다.
본 발명의 광정보기록매체에서 정복의 기록, 또는 화상의 형성은 레이저, 예컨대 반도체 레이저, 헬륨 네온 레이저, He-Cd 레이저, YAG 레이저, AR 레이저 등의 집광한 스포트상의 고 에너지 비임을 기판을 통하여 또는 기판과 반대측으로부터 기록층에 조사하는 것에 의해 실시되며, 정보 또는 화상의 판독은 저출력의 레이저 비임을 조사하는 것에 의해 피트부와 피트부가 형성되어 있지 않는 부분의 반사광량 또는 투과광량의 차이를 검출하는 것에 의해 실시된다.
본 발명의 광정보 기록매체는 종래의 디이모늄 화합물로 이루어지는 광정보 기록매체에 비하여 내광안정성이 우수하다. 또한 본 발명의 화학식(1)의 디이모늄 화합물은 광정보 기록매체를 제조할 때에 사용되는 용매에의 용해도도 충분하기 때문에 가공성도 우수하다. 또 예컨대 광정보 기록매체의 기록층에 해당되는 유기 색소 박막에 이들의 화합물을 광안정화제로서 함유시킨 경우, 반복 재생에서 내구성, 내광안정성을 현저하게 향상시켜 광정보 기록매체를 제공할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명을 실시예에 의해 보다 구체적으로 설명하지만, 본 발명이 이들 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 실시예 중, "부", "%"는 특별히 한정되지 않고, 질량 기준이다. 또 이하의 λmax의 측정치에서, ±4 nm의 차는 측정조건 등에 의한 허용 범위로 한다.
(실시예 1)
DMF 20부 중에 N,N, N', N'-테트라키스(p-디(n-부틸)아미노페닐)-p-페닐렌디아민 4부를 가하고, 60℃로 가열 용해시킨 후, 트리스(트리플루오로메틸술포닐)메탄 58.4% 수용액(쓰리엠 제조) 8부를 가하였다. 이어 DMF 23.5 부에 용해시킨 질산은 1.6부를 가하고, 30분간 가열 교반하였다. 불용해 부분을 여과로 구별한 후 반응액에 물, 메탄올을 부가하고, 석출한 결정을 여과, 메탄올 세정, 수세, 건조후, 표 1에서 화합물번호 1의 디이모늄 화합물 7부를 얻었다.

DMF 36부 중에 N,N,N',N'-테트라키스(p-디(이소-부틸)아미노페닐)-p-페닐렌디아민 6부를 가하고, 60℃로 가열 용해시킨 후, 트리스(트리플루오로메틸술포닐)메탄 58.4% 수용액 10.1부를 가하였다. 이어 DMF 35 부에 용해시킨 질산은 2.32부를 가하고, 30분간 가열 교반하였다. 불용해 부분을 여과로 구별한 후 반응액에 물, 메탄올을 부가하고, 석출한 결정을 여과, 메탄올 세정, 수세, 건조후, 표 1에서 화합물번호 2의 디이모늄 화합물 8.4부를 얻었다.

그외의 화합물에 관해서도 상기 각 실시예와 동일하게 대응하는 페닐렌디아민 유도체를 대응하는 음이온 존재하에 산화제로 산화시키는 것에 의해 합성할 수 있다.
(실시예 6)
MEK(메틸에틸케톤) 0.94 부에, 상기 실시예 1에서 얻은 표 1에 따른 화합물번호 1의 디이모늄 화합물 0.06부를 용해시켰다. 이 용해액에 Folet GS-1000 (상품명, 아크릴계 수지, 소켄 케미컬 앤드 엔지니어링 코포레이션 제조, Tg: 100 내지110℃) 3.4부를 가하여 혼합하고 도포용 용액을 얻었다. 이것을 코스모샤인 A4300 (상품명, 폴리에스테르 필름, 토요우 호우세키샤 제조)으로 두께 2 내지 4 ㎛로 되도록 도포하고, 80℃에서 건조시켜 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
상기 실시예에서 얻은 화합물번호 2 및 화합물 번호 3의 디이모늄 화합물에 관해서도 동일한 처리를 실시하여 각각 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
(실시예 7)
바인더 수지로서 Folet GS-1000 (상품명, 아크릴계 수지, 소켄 케미컬 앤드 엔지니어링 코포레이션 제조, Tg: 100~110℃)을 아크리디카 LAL-115 (상품명) 아크릴계 수지, 다이니뽕 잉크 고교사 제조, Tg: 70℃)으로 하고 또 디이모늄 화합물을 화합물번호 1의 디이모늄 화합물로부터 화합물번호 2로 각각 변경하는 이외는 실시예 6과 동일하게하여 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
평가시험(1)
(내열안정성 시험)
실시예 6 및 실시예 7에서 얻은 각 근적외선 흡수 필터를 100℃의 오븐 중에서 480 시간 방치하고, 내열안정성 시험을 실시하였다. 시험 전후에 그 필터를 UV-3150 (상품명, 분광광도계, 시마즈 세이사꾸쇼 제조)으로 측정하고, 극대 흡수 파장에서 흡광도의 변화로부터 색소 잔존량의 평가를 실시하였다.
비교를 위하여, 표 1에서 화합물 번호 1의 디이모늄 화합물 대신 N,N,N',N'-테트라키스{p-디(n-부틸)아미노페닐)페닐렌디이모늄의 육플루오르화 안티몬산염(화합물(A)), N,N,N',N'-테트라키스{p-디(n-부틸)아미노페닐}페닐렌디이모늄의 비스(트리플루오로메탄술포닐)이미드산염(화합물(B)), N,N,N',N'-테트라키스{p-디(시아노프로필)아미노페닐}페닐렌디이모늄의 비스(트리플루오로메탄술포닐)이미드산염(화합물(C)), N,N,N',N'-테트라키스{p-디(이소-부틸)아미노페닐}페닐렌디이모늄의 비스(트리플루오로메탄술포닐)이미드산염(화합물(D))를 사용한 이외는 실시예 6과 동일하게 하여 비교용의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 제작하고, 상기와 동일하게 측정을 실시하여 결과를 표 2에 나타내었다.
N,N,N',N'-테트라키스{p-디(시아노프로필)아미노페닐}페닐렌디이모늄의 육플루오르화 안티몬산염 및 N,N,N',N'-테트라키스{p-디(이소-부틸)아미노페닐}페닐렌디이모늄의 육플루오르화 안티몬산염에 관해서도 동일한 시험을 실시하였지만, 이들에 관해서는 용매에 대한 용해성이 불충분해서 상기에 준한 근적외선 흡수 필터를 제조할 수 없었다.
표 2의 결과로부터, 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 공지의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용하여 얻은 근적외선 흡수 필터에 비하여 색소 잔존율이 높고, 고온 조건하에서 내성이 우수한 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 표 2의 결과로부터, Tg가 비교적 낮은 점착재를 사용한 경우에서도 Tg가 비교적 높은 점착재를 사용한 경우와 동일하게 우수한 열안정성을 나타내는 것이 확인되었다.
평가시험(2)
(내습열안정성 시험)
평가시험(1)에서 사용한 근적외선 흡수 필터와 동일한 필터를 사용하여 다음과 같이 내습열안정성 시험을 실시하였다.
실시예 6 및 실시예 7에서 얻은 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터 및 비교용으로 작성한 근적외선 흡수 필터를 60℃, 90% RH(상대습도)의 조건하에서 480 시간 방치하고, 시험 전후에 극대 흡수 파장에서 흡광도의 변화를 상기 분광광도계에 의해 측정하여 색소잔존량의 평가를 실시하였다.
표 3의 결과로부터, 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 양이온 부위에 동일 치환기를 갖는 비교예와 비교하여 색소잔존율이 높고, 고온 고습 조건하에서의 내성도 우수한 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 표 3의 결과로부터, Tg가 비교적 낮은 점착재를 사용한 경우에서도, Tg가 비교적 높은 점착재를 사용한 경우와 동일하게 우수한 습열안정성을 나타내는 것이 확인되었다.
(실시예 8)
하기 표 4에 나타내는 점착제용 각 원료를 균일하게 되도록 혼합 용해시킨 도포액을 MRF-75 (상품명, 이형 PET 필름, 미쓰비시 가가꾸 가부시끼 가이샤 제조, 두께 75 ㎛) 상에 콤마 코터로 0.8 m/분, 건조 온도 110℃에 의해 점착층의 두께가 18 ㎛로 되도록 도포하여 건조시키고, 근적외선과 네온광을 흡수하는 필름을 얻었다. 이 필름을 카야코트 ARS-D250-125 (상품명, 반사감소성 필름, 니뽕 가야꾸 제조)를 투명 지지체로 하고, 반사감소성 코트층의 반사면에 접합시켜 35℃에서 2일간 정치시켜 에칭하고, 반사감소성, 근적외선 흡수성 및 네온광 흡수성을 갖고, 색조 조정된 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다. 이어 이 필터의 이형 필름을 박리하고, 점착층을 통하여 하기 전자파 차폐 필름 1에 접합하고, (반사감소성 투명 지지체/NIR.Ne 흡수.색조정 점착층)/전자파 차폐 필름 1의 구성을 갖는 제조가 간편하고 광학성능이 우수한 PDP용의 광학 필터를 얻었다.

(전자파 차폐 필름 1의 제조)
코스모샤인 A-4100 (상품명, PET 필름, 토오요우 호세키 제조, 두께 50 ㎛)를 사용하고, 그 위에 접착층으로 되는 니카플렉스 SAF (상품명, 에폭시계 접착 시트, 니칸 고교 제조, 20㎛)를 통하여 도전성 재료인 두께 18 ㎛이고 조면을 갖는 전해동박을 그 표면이 에폭시계 접착 시트측으로 되도록하여 180℃, 30 kgf/cm2 의 조건에서 가열 라미네이트하여 접착시켰다. 수득한 동박 접착 PET 필름에 포토리소 공정(레지스트 필름 접합-노광-현상-케미컬 에칭레지스트 필름 박리)를 거쳐 라인 폭 25 ㎛, 라인 간격 500 ㎛의 동 격자 패턴을 PET 필름 상에 형성시키고, 동 격자 패턴 면에 투명화 처리하여 하기 표 5의 접착제 조성물을 균일하게 혼합한 접착제를 건조도포 두께가 약 40㎛로 되도록 도포하고, 건조시켜 투명성을 갖는 전자파 차폐 필름 1을 얻었다.

(실시예 9)
표 4에 나타내는 접착제 원료에 방청제 1H-벤조트리아졸 0.067 부를 가하여 잘 혼합 용해시킨 도포액을 사용하는 이외는 실시예 8과 동일한 방법으로 반사감소성, 근적외선 흡수성 및 네온광 흡수성을 갖고 방청제를 함유하는 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다. 이 필터의 이형 필름을 박리하고, 접착층을 통하여 하기의 전자기 차폐 필름 2의 메쉬 면에 접합하고, (반사감소성 투명 지지체/NIR.Ne 흡수. 색조정 접착층)/전자파 차폐 필름 2의 구성을 갖는, 제조가 간편하고 투명성이 양호하며 광학성능이 우수한 PDP용의 광학 필터를 얻었다.
(전자파 차폐 필름 2의 제조)
코스모샤인 A-4100 (상품명, PET 필름, 토오요우 호세키 제조, 두께 100 ㎛)를 사용하고 그 위헤 접착층으로 되는 상기 니카플렉스 SAF를 통하여 도전성 재료인 두께 18 ㎛이고 조면을 갖는 전해 동박을 그 조면이 에폭시계 접착 시트측으로 되도록 하고 180℃, 30 kgf/cm2 의 조건에서 가열 라미네이트하여 접착시켰다. 얻어진 동박접착 PET 필름에 포토리소 공정을 거쳐 라인폭 25 ㎛, 라인 간격 500 ㎛의 동 격자 패턴을 PET 필름 상에 형성시켜 투명성이 약간 부족한 전자파 차폐 필름 2를 얻었다.
(실시예 10)
상기 표 4에 나타내는 점착제 원료 중 아크릴계 수지(상품명, PTR-2500T)를 PTR-5500 (상품명, 유기산 무첨가의 아크릴산 수지, 니뽕 가야꾸 제조)로 변경하는 이외는 실시예 8과 동일한 방법으로 반사감소성, 근적외선 흡수성 및 네온광 흡수성을 갖고 점착층에 유기산을 함유하지 않는 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다. 이 필터의 이형 필름을 박리하고, 점착층을 통하여 상기 전자파 차폐 필름 2의 메쉬면에 접합하고, (반사감소성 투명 지지체/NIR. Ne 흡수.색조정 점착층)/전저파 차폐 필름 2의 구성을 갖고 제조가 간편하며 광학성능이 우수한 PDP용의 광학 필터를 얻었다.
(실시예 11)
상기 표 4에 나타내는 점착제용 각 원료에서 네온 광 흡수제, 황색 색소 및 청색 색소를 사용하지 않는 이외는 상기 표에서와 동일한 원재료를 사용하고 또 Kayacoat ARS-D250-125 대신 코스모샤인 A4300 (상품명, PET 필름, 토오요우 호세키 제조, 두께 100 ㎛)를 사용하는 이외는 실시예 8과 동일한 방법으로 PET 필름을 투명 지지체로 하고 점착층에 화합물 번호 2의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
(실시예 12)
화합물 번호 2의 디이모늄 화합물 대신 화합물 번호 1의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용하는 이외는 실시예 11과 동일한 방법으로 PET 필름이 투명 지지체이고 점착층에 화합물번호 1의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
(대조예 1)
화합물번호 2의 디이모늄 화합물 대신 하기 화학식(E)의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용하는 이외는 실시예 11과 동일한 방법으로 PET 필름이 투명 지지체이고 점착층에 하기 화학식(E)의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 비교용 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
(대조예 2)
화합물번호 2의 디이모늄 화합물 대신 하기 화학식(F)의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용하는 이외는 실시예 11과 동일한 방법으로 PET 필름이 투명 지지체이고 점착층에 하기 화학식(F)의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 비교용 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
(대조예 3)
화합물번호 2의 디이모늄 화합물 대신 하기 화학식(G)의 디이모늄 화합물을 사용하는 이외는 실시예 11과 동일한 방법으로 PET 필름이 투명 지지체이고 점착층에 하기 화학식(G)의 디이모늄 화합물을 함유하는 비교용 근적외선 흡수 필터를 얻었다.
평가 시험(3)
(내열성 시험)
PET 필름을 투명 지지체로 한 실시예 11 내지 실시예 12에서 얻은 본 발명의 근적외선 흡수 필터와 대조예 1 내지 대조예 3에서 얻은 비교용의 각 근적외선 흡수 필터에 관하여 내열성 및 내습열성을 시험하였다.
디이모늄 화합물의 내열성, 내습열성의 저하의 특징은 파장 400 내지 480 nm의 가시부 광선 및 근적외선 (파장 700 내지 1100 nm)에서 흡수능의 변화로서 나타나기 때문에 이 파장 영역(3 파장을 선택)에서 흡수능의 변화를 측정하였다. 즉, 각 실시예 및 각 대조예의 각 시험편을 점착층을 통하여 두께 1 mm의 플로트 글래스에 접착하고 내열성 시험에서는 80℃, 내습열성 시험에서는 60℃, 90% RH(상대 습도)의 항온, 항습조 내에서 94 시간 각각 정치시킨 후 시험 전후의 3 파장(430 nm, 880 mn, 980 nm)에서 광선 투과율의 측정 및 점착층의 외관의 관찰을 실시하였다.
표 6 및 표 7은 시각에 의한 외관 관찰 결과 및 각 파장에서 투과율의 변화(각 파장에서 시험후 투과율(%)-시험 전 투과율(%)을 나타내었다.

표 6 및 7의 결과로부터 알 수 있듯이, 내열성, 내습열성의 양 시험에서 실시예 11 내지 실시예 12의 시험편은 대조예 2 및 대조예 3의 시험편에 비하여 점착층의 얼룩의 발생이 없고, 파장 430 nm에서 변화도 대조예 2, 대조예 3보다 적어 이것이 외관변화가 양호한 원인으로 되고 있다. 이에 대하여 대조예 1의 시험편은 근적외선 흡수율이 현저하게 저하되었다. 실시예 11의 근적외선 흡수 필터는 실시예 12의 근적외선 흡수 필터보다 각 파장에서 투과율 변화, 외관 변화에서 우수하였다.
Claims (21)
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화학식(2)의 직쇄 또는 분지쇄의 알킬기가 C2 ~ C5의 직쇄 또는 분지쇄의 알킬기인 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제2항에 있어서, 직쇄 또는 분지쇄의 알킬기가 메틸기, n-프로필기, n-부틸기, 이소-부틸기 또는 n-아밀기인 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화학식(2)의 시아노기로 치환된 알킬기가 시아노프로필기인 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 점착층이 방청제를 함유하는 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제5항에 있어서, 방청제가 1H-벤조트리아졸인 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 점착층에 함유되는 유기산의 양이 점착층의 질량에 대하여 0.5 질량% 이하인 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 파장 550 ~ 620 nm에 최대 흡수를 갖는 화합물이 화학식(2)의 디이모늄 화합물과 함께 점착층에 함유되는 것을 특징으로 하는 근적외선 흡수 필터.
- 제1항에 기재된 근적외선 흡수 필터 및 전자파 차폐층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널용 광학 필터.
- 제9항에 기재된 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널용 광학 필터를 구비한 플라즈마 디스플레이 패널.
