Abstract
Description
본 발명의 일 측면에 따르면, 유체 내에 위치하여 임펠러의 회전에 의해 와류환(ring vortex)으로서 유체 전체의 순환을 실질적으로 일으키거나 유지시키도록 형성된 상기 임펠러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 담겨있는 유체를 움직이도록 적용되는 유체 순환 시스템을 제공하는 것이다.
바람직하게, 유체 내에 위치한 임펠러의 회전에 의하여 상기 순환이 일어나는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 임펠러는 황금분할(Golden Section) 또는 파이 기하학(Phi geometry)에 따라 실질적으로 설계되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 임펠러는 소용돌이(volute) 또는 그 밖의 바다고동(seashell)의 황금분할에 가까운(Golden-Section-like) 중심이나 일부에 따라 실질적으로 설계되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 임펠러의 형태는 와류환의 깔대기(funnel), 중심부 또는 다른 부분 내에서 흐름 라인(flow lines), 유선(流線: streamlines) 또는 와동선(渦動線: lines of vorticity)에 상응하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 임펠러는 황금분할의 적어도 하나의 대수적 곡선에 실질적으로 적합한 구성을 가진 활성 표면(active surface)을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 활성 표면은 X축, Y축 또는 Z축을 따라 황금분할에 실질적으로 적합한 것을 특징으로 하고, 상기 활성 표면은 XY축, YZ축 또는 ZX축을 따라 황금분할에 실질적으로 적합한 것을 특징으로 하며, 상기 활성 표면은 XYZ축을 따라 황금분할에 실질적으로 적합한 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 유체는 상향으로 배치된 중심축을 향한 실질적인 원통형의 탱크 내의 유체를 포함하며, 상기 임펠러는 실질적으로 상기 탱크의 중심축에 동축으로 배열된 회전축 주위를 회전하는 액체 내에 위치하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명의 다른 측면에 따르면, 와류환의 형태로 액체의 순환을 일으키도록 상기 액체 내에 위치하고 상술한 바와 같은 형태의 임펠러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 탱크 내에 담겨있는 액체의 혼합 시스템을 제공한다. 바람직하게, 상기 탱크는 원통형 탱크이고 상향으로 배치된 중심축을 향하며, 상기 임펠러는 실질적으로 상기 탱크의 중심축에 동축으로 배열된 회전축 주위로 회전하도록 향해 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 임펠러는 실질적으로 수평하게 실장될 수 있다.
바람직하게, 상기 원통형 탱크의 기저부는 곡선 모양인 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 원통형 탱크의 기저부는 구형의 부분인 것을 특징으로 한다.
바람직하게, 상기 탱크는 원통형보다 다른 형태일 수 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 측면에 따르면, 상기 물 내에서 회전하도록 위치하여 와류환의 형태로 물의 순환을 일으키거나 유지시키도록 적용되고 전술한 바와 같은 형태의 임펠러를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물 저장소에 적용된 수질 개선 시스템(water remediation system)을 제공한다.
와류환은 또한 공진점(resonance point)에 도달할 수 있고, 시간이 지남에 따라 상기 와류환을 유지하는데 필요한 에너지 입력을 줄일 수 있는 에너지를 축적할 수 있다.
본 발명의 바람직한 실시예들의 각각은 유체 내에서 와류환의 경로를 따르는 순환을 유도하기 위한 시스템으로 구성된다. 자연현상에서 와류환은 바람직하고 가장 일반적이며 가장 효율적인 방법의 유체 순환 흐름이다. 이는 다른 흐름의 패턴들과 비교하여 매우 효율적이며, 상기에서 살펴본 바와 같이 여러 가지 효과적인 특성을 지닌 메커니즘이다.
일단 와류환이 존재하면, 이의 관성은 액체 흐름 분야와 본질적으로 방사상 층 형태(radial laminar)의 흐름 경로인 움직임의 기하학(geometry of movement)이 모두 적용되는 임펠러 구성된 "흐름 장치(flow device)"에 없어서는 안 될 부분이 된다.
Claims (31)
- 임펠러의 회전에 의해 유체의 일부에 와류환(ring vortex) 순환을 발생시키고 또한 유지시키는 임펠러; 및상기 유체 내부에 위치하고 상기 임펠러에 결합된 모터;를 포함하고,상기 임펠러는 나선형 형상의 한쌍의 날개를 가지고, 회전 중에 상기 와류환을 유도하며,상기 임펠러 표면은 황금분할을 따르며, 상기 모터는 수직방향 축을 기준으로 상기 임펠러를 회전시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유체는 원통형의 탱크에 수용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 원통형 탱크는 곡선 모양의 기저부를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 모터는 상기 원통형 탱크의 기저부에 장착되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유체는 원통형이 아닌 불규칙한 모양의 탱크에 수용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유체는 워터 타워(water tower)에 수용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 모터는, 상기 유체의 양이 일정량 이하로 내려가면 상기 모터의 작동을 정지시키는 레벨스위치를 구비하고,상기 유체의 일정량이란, 상기 임펠러가 유체 내부에 잠길 수 있는 유체의 양을 의미하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 와류환 순환은 공기가 주입된 유체의 표면층과 유체의 하부층을 순환시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 공기가 주입된 유체의 표면층의 온도는 상기 유체의 하부층의 온도보다 높은 것을 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 와류환은 다방향 흐름구조를 갖고, 상기 흐름구조는 상기 와류환의 최외곽에서 가장 속도가 느린 것을 특징으로 하는 유체 순환 시스템.
