Claims (24)
- 입력 및 출력이 있는 고주파 전력증폭기;고주파 전력증폭기의 출력 전력을 검출하기 위해 고주파 전력증폭기의 출력에 연결된 전력검출기;전력증폭기의 접속점에서 첨두전압을 검출하기 위하여 전력증폭기에 연결된 피크검출기로서, 여기서 전력증폭기의 접속점은 전력증폭기의 출력과 다른 접속점이고, 상기 피크검출기는 전력증폭기의 접속점에 연결되는 입력을 가지는 제 1 피크검출기와, 레퍼런스 톤(reference tone)에 연결되는 입력을 가지는 제 2 피크검출기로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 피크검출기; 및전력증폭기의 이득을 제어하기 위하여 피크검출기 및 전력증폭기에 연결되어, 피크검출기가 문턱전압보다 높은 첨두전압을 검출하면, 전력증폭기의 출력전력을 제한하는 전력제어회로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 제 1 및 제 2 피크검출기가 쌍으로 이루어진 피크검출기인 것을 특징으로 하는 회로.

- 전력증폭기의 출력전력을 검출하는 단계;전력증폭기의 제 1 접속점에 제 1 피크검출기의 입력을 연결하고 레퍼런스 톤에 제 2 피크 검출기의 입력을 연결함으로써 전력증폭기의 제 1 접속점에서의 첨두전압을 검출하는 단계로서, 전력증폭기의 제 1 접속점은 전력증폭기의 출력과 다른 접속접인 것이 특징인 검출하는 단계;검출된 출력전력이 요구 출력전력 수준 보다 작고 검출된 첨두전압이 문턱전압을 초과하지 않으면, 전력증폭기의 이득을 증가시키는 단계; 및검출된 출력전력이 요구 출력전력 수준 보다 크거나, 검출된 첨두전압이 문턱전압을 초과하면, 전력증폭기의 이득을 감소시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파 전력증폭기 제어 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 첨두전압을 검출하는 단계가, 제 1, 2 피크 검출기의 출력들을 결합시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파 전력증폭기 제어 방법.
- 제 11 항에 있어서, 제 1, 2 피크검출기가 쌍을 이룬 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파 전력증폭기 제어 방법.
- 고주파 전력증폭기의 소자를 보호하는 방법에 있어서,전력증폭기의 출력전력을 검출하는 단계;전력증폭기의 제 1 접속점에서 전압을 검출하는 단계로서, 전력증폭기의 제 1 접속점은 전력증폭기의 출력과 다른 접속점인, 검출하는 단계;전력증폭기의 제 1 접속점에서 검출된 전압과 검출 기준 전압을 비교하는 단계;제 1 접속점에서 검출된 전압이 문턱전압보다 높은 지를 결정하는 단계,제 1 접속점에서 검출된 전압이 문턱전압보다 높을 경우, 전력증폭기의 이득을 감소시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파 전력증폭기의 소자를 보호하는 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 검출된 출력전력이 요구 전력 수준보다 작고 제 1 접속점에서 검출된 전압이 문턱 전압보다 낮을 경우, 전력증폭기의 이득이 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파 전력증폭기의 소자를 보호하는 방법.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 검출되는 출력전력이 요구 전력 수준보다 크거나, 제 1 접속점에서 검출되는 전압이 문턱전압보다 높을 경우, 전력증폭기의 이득이 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고주파 전력증폭기의 소자를 보호하는 방법.
