Description
Claims (9)
- 복수의 노즐의 각각에 대해서 토출되는 액적(液滴)의 중량에 따른 랭크를 대응시키는 랭크 설정 공정과,상기 노즐의 액추에이터를 구동하여 상기 액적의 중량을 미리 규정한 소정 중량으로 교정(較正)하는 구동 파형을 상기 랭크마다 생성하는 구동 파형 생성 공정과,묘화 데이터에 의거하여 선택되는 상기 노즐의 액추에이터에 대해서 상기 선택되는 노즐의 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 공급하여, 상기 선택되는 노즐로부터 대상물을 향해서 상기 소정 중량의 액적을 토출시키는 액적 토출 공정을 구비하고,상기 액적 토출 공정에 있어서, 서로 다른 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형이 동일 타이밍에서 상기 노즐의 액추에이터에 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액적 토출 공정은,모든 상기 노즐에 대해서 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 대응시키고,모든 상기 노즐에 대해서 상기 액적의 토출·비토출을 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 액적 토출 공정은,모든 상기 노즐에 대해서 상기 액적의 토출·비토출을 설정할 때마다, 모든 상기 노즐에 대해서 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 대응시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 액적 토출 공정은,모든 상기 노즐에 대해서 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 대응시킨 후,모든 상기 노즐에 대해서 상기 액적의 토출·비토출의 설정을 반복하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.
- 액적 토출 헤드에 설치된 복수 액추에이터의 각각에 구동 파형을 공급하여 상기 액추에이터에 대응하는 노즐로부터 액적을 토출시키는 액적 토출 장치로서,묘화 데이터에 의거하여 상기 복수 노즐의 각각에 대해서 상기 액적의 토출·비토출을 대응시킨 출력 제어 신호를 생성하는 출력 제어 신호 생성 수단과,상기 복수 노즐의 각각에 대해서 상기 액적의 중량에 따라 설정되는 랭크를 대응시킨 정보를 기억하는 기억 수단과,상기 랭크에 대응되어 상기 액적의 중량을 미리 규정한 소정 중량으로 교정하는 구동 파형을 상기 랭크마다 생성하는 구동 파형 생성 수단과,상기 기억 수단이 기억하는 상기 정보를 이용하여 상기 복수 노즐의 각각에 대해서 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 대응시킨 코먼(common) 선택 제어 신호를 생성하는 코먼 선택 제어 신호 생성 수단과,상기 코먼 선택 제어 신호와 상기 출력 제어 신호에 의거하여, 상기 액적을 토출시키는 상기 노즐의 상기 액추에이터에 대해서 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 출력하는 출력 수단을 구비하고,상기 출력 수단은, 서로 다른 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 동일 타이밍에서 상기 노즐의 상기 액추에이터에 대해 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 코먼 선택 제어 신호 생성 수단은,상기 출력 제어 신호와 동기(同期)한 상기 코먼 선택 제어 신호를 생성하고,상기 출력 수단은,상기 출력 제어 신호와, 상기 출력 제어 신호와 동기한 상기 코먼 선택 제어 신호에 의거하여, 상기 액적을 토출시키는 상기 노즐의 상기 액추에이터에 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 코먼 선택 제어 신호 생성 수단은,상기 출력 제어 신호에 선행하여 상기 코먼 선택 제어 신호를 생성하고,상기 출력 수단은,상기 출력 제어 신호를 받을 때마다, 상기 선행하여 생성된 코먼 선택 제어 신호를 이용하여, 상기 액적을 토출시키는 상기 노즐의 상기 액추에이터에 대해서 상기 랭크에 대응하는 상기 구동 파형을 출력하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 5 항 내지 제 7 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 액적의 중량을 계측하는 액적 중량 장치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 기판에 토출된 액적을 건조시켜서 형성한 박막을 갖는 전기 광학 장치로서,상기 박막은,제 5 항에 기재된 액적 토출 장치에 의해 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
