Claims (20)
- 표시 장치로서:유기전계 발광장치;상기 유기전계 발광장치에 직렬로 연결된 구동 트랜지스터를 포함하는 픽셀 구동 회로;상기 픽셀구동회로를 연결하는 데이터선; 및소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 데이터선을 통하여 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되는 경우, 조정 전압의 전위가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위에 근접하게 되도록 상기 조정 전압의 전위를 조정하는 전압 조정부를 가지는 표시 구동기를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전압 조정부는, 표시 데이터에 대응하는 소정의 전위를 가지는 계조 전압과 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위에 따라 설정된 오프셋 전압에 기초하여, 상기 조정 전압을 발생시킴을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되는 경우, 상기 표시 구동기는 상기 전압 조정부에서의 전위와 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위를 비교하는 전압 비교부를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 전압 비교부는, 상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류를 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급하는 전류원을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전압 비교부는, 상기 전류원이나 상기 전압 조정부를 상기 데이터선을 통해 상기 구동 트랜지스터에 스위칭적으로 연결하는 연결로 스위치를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되면서, 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위는, 상기 연결로 스위치가 상기 전류원을 상기 데이터선에 연결하는 경우, 상기 전압 비교부에 출력됨을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 표시 구동기는, 상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되는 경우에 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위와 상기 전압 조정부에서의 전위 사이에서, 상기 전압 비교부에 의해 만들어진 비교 결과에 기초하여, 오프셋 전압을 발생하는 오프셋 전압 발생부를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되면서, 상기 전압 조정부의 전위가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위보다 크다고 상기 전압 비교부가 판별한 경우, 상기 오프셋 전압 발생부는 상기 오프셋 전압을 변조함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되면서, 상기 전압 조정부의 전위가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위보다 큰 경우, 상기 오프셋 전압 발생부는 상기 전압 비교부로부터 출력된 신호의 입력수를 카운트함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 오프셋 전압 발생부는 상기 전압 비교부로부터 출력된 신호의 입력수에 따라 변화되는 오프셋 설정값에 따른 상기 오프셋 전압을 변조함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 오프셋 전압은 상기 오프셋 설정값을 단위 전압에 곱하여 획득된 값임을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 소정의 전류값을 가지는 기준 전류가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 공급되면서, 상기 전압 조정부의 전위가 상기 픽셀 구동 회로에 고유한 특성의 변화량에 따라 변화되는 전위 이하인 경우, 상기 오프셋 전압 발생부는 상기 전압 비교부로부터 출력된 신호에 따라서 상기 전압 비교부로부터 출력된 신호의 입력수에 따라 변화되는 상기 오프셋 설정값을 출력함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,상기 표시 구동기는, 상기 오프셋 전압 발생부로부터 출력된 상기 오프셋 설정값을 저장하는 저장부를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 13 항에 있어서,상기 유기전계 발광장치와 상기 픽셀 구동 회로의 세트에 의해 각각 구성된 복수의 표시 픽셀을 더 포함하고, 상기 저장부는 상기 오프셋 설정값을 각 표시 픽셀 단위에 저장함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 표시 구동기는 상기 오프셋 전압 발생부로부터 출력된 상기 오프셋 설정값을 저장하는 저장부를 가지고, 그리고상기 오프셋 전압 발생부는 상기 저장부로부터 출력된 상기 오프셋 설정값을 단위 전압에 곱하여 획득된 오프셋 전압을 상기 전압 조정부에 출력함을 특징으로 하는 표시 장치.
