Description
Claims (20)
- 디스플레이 장치로부터, 수직이며 균일한 원뿔각(cone angle)의 입사광(incoming light)을 받아들이도록 동작 가능한 렌즈,상기 디스플레이 장치에 대한 상기 렌즈의 위치와 무관하게 상기 입사광의 특성을 검출하도록 동작 가능한 광 검출기,상기 광 검출기에 의해 검출된 상기 입사광의 특성에 대해 앤티 에일리어징(anti-aliasing) 기능을 수행하도록 동작 가능한 필터 회로, 및상기 광 검출기가 검출한 상기 입사광의 특성에 응답하여 상기 디스플레이의 휘도 값을 생성하며, 상기 디스플레이 장치의 디스플레이 파라미터를 조정하기 위하여 상기 휘도 값을 제공하도록 동작 가능한 마이크로프로세서를 포함하는, 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제1항에서,상기 렌즈는 내부 전반사(total internal reflection)가 45도인 반사(mirror)가 되도록 광을 통과시키는 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제1항에서,광이 상기 광 검출기를 통과하기 전에 상기 광을 필터링하는 색 필터를 더 포함하는 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제3항에서,상기 색 필터는 교정을 위해 녹색 스펙트럼 영역에서 상기 입사광을 균일하게 하도록 동작 가능한 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제1항에서,상기 광 검출기는 스펙트럼에 있어서 비선택성(spectrally non-selective)인 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제5항에서,상기 광 검출기는 선형 실리콘 광 검출기인 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제1항에서,상기 디스플레이 장치와 관련된 호스트 컴퓨터에 상주하는 소프트웨어 애플리케이션을 더 포함하며,상기 소프트웨어 애플리케이션은 상기 디스플레이 장치에 표시되도록 동작 가능한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스로부터의 입력을 받아들이도록 동작 가능한디스플레이 교정시스템.
- 제1항에서,상기 렌즈를 상기 디스플레이 위 중 정확도에 영향을 주지 않는 거리에서 위치시키도록 동작 가능한 탄성 중합체 쿠션(elastomeric cushion)을 더 포함하는 디 스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제1항에서,상기 마이크로프로세서는, 주위 광(ambient light)에 대해 보상(compensate)하기 위해 상기 디스플레이 장치에 대한 감마 프로파일(gamma profile)을 조정하도록 동작가능한, 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제9항에서,상기 필터 회로는 상기 광 검출기에 의해 검출된 상기 입사광의 특성을 안정시키고 그 대응하는 파형(wave shape)을 보존하는 디스플레이 교정 시스템.

- 제11항에서,상기 디스플레이의 녹색 채널을 에뮬레이팅(emulating)하는 수단을 더 포함하는, 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제11항에서,색채 감도(chromatic sensitivity)를 제공하는 수단, 및적절한 휘도 신호 범위를 설정하는 수단을 더 포함하는, 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제11항에서,상기 입사광의 신호 범위를 세부조정(tuning)하는 수단을 더 포함하는, 디스플레이 교정 시스템.
- 제11항에서,상기 입사광을 검출하는 수단은 상기 디스플레이로부터의 임의의 거리 요건에 관계없이 위치되는, 디스플레이 교정 시스템.

- 제16항에서,임계 레벨을 넘는 주파수를 제거하기 위해 상기 신호를 필터링하는 단계를 더 포함하는 디스플레이 교정 방법.
