Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 매트릭스형으로 배열된 복수의 화소를 구비하고 전기 신호를 각 화소마다 소정 시간동안 유지하여 표시하는, 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 패널을 사용한 화상 표시 장치로서,제 1 프레임 주파수를 갖는 제 1 영상 신호를 프레임 레이트 변환하여, 상기 제 1 프레임 주파수보다 높은 제 2 프레임 주파수를 갖는 제 2 영상 신호로서 출력하는 프레임 레이트 변환 회로; 및상기 제 2 영상 신호를 상기 액티브 매트릭스형 표시 패널에 표시하는 구동 회로를 구비하고,상기 프레임 레이트 변환 회로는,상기 제 1 영상 신호에 있어서의 복수 프레임을 사용하여 보간 프레임 신호를 생성하는 보간 프레임 생성 수단;상기 보간 프레임 신호에 0 초과 1 미만의 계수를 승산하는 승산 수단; 및상기 승산 수단에 의해 상기 계수를 승산한 보간 프레임 신호를 상기 제 1 영상 신호에 내삽하여 상기 제 2 영상 신호를 생성하는 내삽 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 표시 장치.
