Abstract

본 발명은 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 후드 수평래치 결합구조에 관한 것으로, 보다 자세하게는 수평래치가 고정되어 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)의 상부판넬에 오버몰딩으로 장착되는 브라켓을 포함하여 이루어지고, 상기 브라켓은 플라스틱이 투입되어 브라켓의 양면이 플라스틱으로 감싸지면서 상기 상부판넬에 장착되도록 양측부에 관통공이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.

자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(ＦＥＭ；ｆｒｏｎｔ ｅｎｄ ｍｏｄｕｌｅ)상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조{Structure for horizontal latch bonding to the upper panel of front end module in a car}
도 1은 종래의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)의 수직래치 결합구조를 나타낸 사시도이고,
도 2는 종래의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)의 수직래치 결합구조의 후면도를 나타낸 사시도이고,
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조를 나타낸 사시도이고,
도 4는 본 발명에 따른 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 확대 사시도이고,

본 발명은 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 프런트엔드모듈의 상부판넬에 후드가 고정되도록 수평래치가 브라켓과 함께 상부판넬에 오버몰딩되어 결합되는 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조이다.
일반적으로, 자동차의 차체는 자동차의 외형을 이루는 부분으로서 차실이나 엔진룸 혹은 트렁크 실이나 펜더 등으로 구성되는데, 이 차체는 또한 자동차의 길이 방향을 따라 전방차체와 중심차체 및 후방차체로 구분되어진다.
여기서, 상기 전방차체에는 헤드램프, 라디에이터, 콘덴서, 범퍼 등이 조립되기 위한 캐리어(carrier)가 형성되는데, 캐리어에는 헤드램프, 라디에이터, 콘덴서, 범퍼 등과 차체 패널을 하나로 조립하여 현장에서 조립능률을 향상시키고, 조립대상 부품수를 감소시켜 조립 시간을 단축하며, 제품의 조립 정도를 확보하기 위한 기술인 FEM(Front End Module)이 적용된다.
그리고, 상기 프런트엔드모듈의 상부판넬에는 후드(Hood)가 고정되도록 래치(Latch)가 조립되어지는데, 여기에는 자동차의 엔진룸을 개방하기 위해 후드를 열고 닫을 때 발생하는 후드의 동적하중에 견딜 수 있는 강도가 요구된다.
또한, 상기 후드를 고정시키는 래치는 수직래치(Vertical latch)와 수평래치(Horizontal latch)로 나누어지고, 상기 수직래치가 프런트엔드모듈의 상부판넬에 결합되는 종래의 구조는 도 1, 2에 도시되어 있다.
도시된 바와 같이, 종래의 수직래치가 프런트엔드모듈(10)의 상부판넬(12)에 결합되는 경우에는, 프런트엔드모듈(10)의 전면에 수직래치(15)를 장착하고 상부판넬(12)의 후면에 강성 보강용 리브(Rib)(17)를 형성하여 만족한 강성을 얻을 수 있었다.
그러나, 후드가 수평래치에 고정되도록 수평래치를 프런트엔드모듈의 상부판넬에 장착하는 경우에는, 수평래치가 상부판넬의 상면에 장착되어 리브가 형성될 공간을 수평래치의 하부가 차지하기 때문에, 상부판넬의 후면에 강성 보강용 리브(RIB)를 형성할 수 없는 문제점이 있었다.
이에 본 발명은 상기와 같은 문제점들을 해소하기 위해 안출된 것으로써, 프런트엔드모듈의 상부판넬에 수평래치가 결합되는 경우, 수평래치에 걸리는 하중을 견디도록 수평래치와 상부판넬의 강성적인 결합구조를 형성하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
상기와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은, 수평래치가 고정되어 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)의 상부판넬에 오버몰딩으로 장착되는 브라켓을 포함하여 이루어지는 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조를 제공한다.
이하, 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 설명한다.
또한, 본 실시예는 본 발명의 권리범위를 한정하는 것이 아니라 단지 예시로 제시된 것이며, 본 기술사상을 통해 구현되는 다양한 실시예가 있을 수 있다.
도 3은 본 발명에 따른 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module) 상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조를 나타낸 사시도이고, 도 4는 본 발명에 따른 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 확대 사시도이고, 도 5는 본 발명에 따른 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 수평래치 결합구조의 후면도를 나타낸 사시도이다.
도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명의 구성은, 수평래치(25)가 고정되어 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)(20)의 상부판넬(22)에 오버몰딩으로 장착되는 브라켓(30)을 포함하여 이루어진다.
여기서, 상기 수평래치(25)는 차량 엔진의 상부에 배치된 후드를 고정하기 위해 차량의 후드 전방부 하부에 배치되는 것으로서, 후드에 끼워져 후드를 고정시키는 후크를 구비하고 있으며, 후크는 손잡이에 의해 회전되면서 후드에서 이탈될 수 있다.
즉, 상기 수평래치(25)는 프런트엔드모듈(20)의 전면에 수직으로 배치되는 종래의 수직래치와 다르게 수평으로 배치되는 형태로 구성된 것으로서, 프런트엔드모듈(20)의 상부에 수평으로 형성된 상부패널(22)에 오버몰딩으로 결합되는 브라켓(30)에 결합되고, 브라켓(30)에 결합되어 수평으로 배치되는 형태를 이룬다.
또한, 상기 브라켓(30)은 플라스틱이 투입되어 브라켓(30)의 양면이 플라스틱으로 감싸지면서 상기 상부판넬(22)에 장착되도록 양측부에 관통공(31)이 형성되는 것이 바람직하다.
그리고, 상기 수평래치(25)가 고정되는 상기 브라켓(30)은 절곡부(40)가 형 성되어 도시된 점선(35)을 따라 상기 상부판넬(22)에 오버몰딩된다.
즉, 상기 브라켓(30)과 상기 상부판넬(22)은 점선(35)부근 외측에서 경계를 이루고, 브라켓(30)의 관통공(31)은 점선(35)을 따라 브라켓(30)의 양측부에 형성된다.
이때, 상기 브라켓(30)의 절곡부(40)는 프런트엔드모듈(20)의 중앙판넬(45)과 상부판넬(22)이 결합되는 부분에서 경계를 이룬다.
즉, 상기 수평래치(25)에 걸리는 수직하중은 브라켓(30)의 절곡부(40)를 통해 전달되어 중앙판넬(45)에 일부가 지지되고, 수직하중으로 인해 브라켓(30)에서 발생하는 굽힘모멘트는 브라켓(30)이 상부판넬(22)에 오버몰딩으로 장착되고 브라켓(30)의 절곡부(40)가 경사져서 수직하중에 굽혀지기 어렵기 때문에 영향을 미치지 못한다.
이때, 상기 브라켓(30)은 수평래치(25)가 받는 하중에 대해 견디어, 그 하중이 프런트엔드모듈(20) 전체로 분산되므로, 브라켓(30)이 설치된 부분에서는 수평래치(25)가 받는 하중에 따른 파단이 일어나지 않게 된다.
그리고, 상기 브라켓(30)은 1.5mm~1.7mm의 두께의 스틸로 형성되는 것이 바람직한데, 이는 상기 수평래치(25)에 걸리는 하중을 견디도록 브라켓(30)의 허용강도를 고려한 두께이다.
상기한 바와 같이 본 발명에 따른 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈(FEM;front end module)상부판넬의 후드 수평래치 결합구조는, 수평래치에 걸리는 하중을 견디도록 수평래치와 상부판넬의 강성적인 결합구조가 형성되는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

  2. 자동차의 후드 하부에 수평으로 배치되어 상기 후드를 차량의 전방에 고정하는 수평래치의 결합구조를 제공하는 것으로서, 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈의 상부판넬에 오버몰딩으로 장착되는 브라켓을 포함하는 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈 상부판넬의 후드 수평래치 결합구조에 있어서,
    상기 브라켓은 플라스틱이 투입되어 브라켓의 양면이 플라스틱으로 감싸지면서 상기 상부판넬에 장착되도록 양측부에 관통공이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 프런트엔드모듈 상부판넬의 후드 수평래치 결합구조.
