Claims (9)
- 적어도 이론공연비와 희박공연비로 운전가능한 내연기관의 배기경로에 설치된 배기정화용 촉매장치에 있어서,상기 배기 경로에는 유입하는 배기의 공연비가 희박공연비일 때에 NOx를 흡장하고, 유입하는 배기의 산소농도가 저하하면 흡장한 NOx를 방출 또는 환원하는 배기정화수단; 및상기 배기정화수단의 상류측에 귀금속으로서 적어도 로듐을 함유한 내층과 귀금속으로서 백금 또는 팔라듐을 함유한 표층을 보유하는 동시에 세리아를 미량 첨가 또는 무첨가로 하여 구성되는 삼원촉매를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 삼원촉매의 상기 내층이 귀금속으로서 로듐단독 또는 로듐 및 백금의 쌍방을 주성분으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 삼원촉매의 상기 표층이 귀금속으로서 백금 또는 팔라듐을 주성분으로 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 내층이 귀금속으로서 로듐만을 주성분으로서 함유하고 상기 내층으로의 로듐의 담지량을 촉매용량에 대하여 0.05 내지 5.0g/ℓ의 범위내의 값으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 내층이 귀금속으로서 로듐만을 주성분으로서 함유하고 상기 내층으로의 로듐의 담지량을 촉매용량에 대하여 0.3 내지 0.6g/ℓ의 범위내의 값으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 내층이 귀금속으로서 로듐만을 주성분으로서 함유하고 상기 내층으로의 로듐의 담지량을 촉매용량에 대하여 0.05 내지 5.0g/ℓ의 범위내의 값으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 내층이 귀금속으로서 로듐만을 주성분으로서 함유하고 상기 내층으로의 로듐의 담지량을 촉매용량에 대하여 0.3 내지 0.6g/ℓ의 범위내의 값으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 표층이 귀금속으로서 백금을 주성분으로서 함유하고 상기 표층으로의 백금의 담지량을 촉매용량에 대하여 0.05 내지 20.0g/ℓ의 범위내의 값으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 표층이 귀금속으로서 백금을 주성분으로서 함유하고 상기 표층으로의 백금의 담지량을 촉매용량에 대하여 1.5 내지 3.0g/ℓ의 범위내의 값으로 설정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 배기 정화용 촉매장치.
