Claims (4)
- 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 액정이 봉입되고,상기 제1 기판에는, 매트릭스 형상으로 배치되는 화소에 각각 대응하여 설치된 스위칭 소자 및 이것에 접속된 화소 전극과, 상기 스위칭 소자를 순차 선택하기 위한 선택 라인과, 접속되는 상기 스위칭 소자에 표시 데이터를 공급하는 데이터 라인을 갖고,상기 제2 기판에는, 상기 제1 기판의 각 화소 전극과 함께 액정을 제어하는 대향 전극을 갖는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법으로서,상기 대향 전극에 인가하는 대향 전극 전압을 소정 주기로 변동시키고,상기 대향 전극 전압의 변동 시에, 상기 데이터 라인에 대하여 변동 완화 전압을 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 대향 전극 전압의 변동과 상기 데이터 라인의 상기 변동 완화 전압의 인가는, 수직 귀선 기간 및 수평 귀선 기간 중 어느 하나 또는 양방의 기간 중에 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 변동 완화 전압은 상기 표시 데이터의 중심 전압인 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1 기판 및 제2 기판 사이에 액정이 봉입되고,상기 제1 기판에는, 매트릭스 형상으로 배치되는 화소에 각각 대응하여 설치된 스위칭 소자 및 이것에 접속된 화소 전극과, 상기 스위칭 소자를 순차 선택하기 위한 선택 라인과, 접속되는 상기 스위칭 소자에 표시 데이터를 공급하는 데이터 라인을 갖고,상기 제2 기판에는, 상기 제1 기판의 각 화소 전극과 함께 액정을 제어하는 대향 전극을 갖는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로로서,상기 대향 전극에 인가하는 대향 전극 전압을 소정 주기로 변동시키는 대향 전극 제어부와,상기 대향 전극 전압의 변동 시에, 상기 데이터 라인에 변동 완화 전압을 인가하기 위한 데이터 라인 전압 제어부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액티브 매트릭스형 액정 표시 장치의 구동 회로.
