Claims (4)
- 시일부를 거쳐 한쌍의 기판 사이에 액정층이 협지되고, 한쪽 기판상에 컬러필터를 가지며, 상기 컬러필터위에 전극이 형성되어 구성되는 전기광학장치에 있어서, 상기 컬러필터가 형성된 한쪽 기판상에 배치되는 배향막 층의 단부가, 그 한쪽 기판과 다른쪽 기판이 겹치는 영역보다 외측으로 연장하여 형성되며, 상기 한쪽 기판에 형성된 상기 컬러필터상에 적어도 한층 이상의 무기층으로 이루어지는 보호층이 형성되고, 그 보호층 위에 전극이 형성되어 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학장치.

- 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한항에 기재된 전기광학장치로 구성되는 조광용 액정셀과, 상기 액정셀의 양측에 배치된 한쌍의 편광체와, 상기 조광용 액정셀과 상기 편광체 사이에 배치된 광학적 이방체를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기광학장치.
